Just wanted to give everyone an update after my deep clean. First let's talk about Lily and Alexis at the front! They are so nice and genuinely care about how your visit goes. Next Julie took me back to the exam room and I had one filling by the doc and then my deep cleaning by the Hygienist! My teeth and gums are in bad shape so I braved the cleaning but today I feel so much better! I'm so glad I went through it because I was constantly checked on and made aware of next steps. Had a great experience here today after trying multiple different dentists in the South Bay over the years. The office staff (Lily and one other woman) were super friendly and knowledgeable. She informed me right away about what my insurance would cover which I thought was helpful and gave me clarity for my visit. Kaz, the dental assistant, was thorough and took multiple X-rays and pictures of my teeth. He also explained the cleaning process at Artsci and how it differs from other places. Went in to see Dr Nguyen for a cleaning today and as usual had the best experience possible. His staff is so unbelievably in tune with their patients. From the moment you walk in you are greeted warmly before being taken back quickly by a dental assistant. His staff is just unbelievable. Today I had the pleasure of having Kaz as the dental assistant that took care of me. He's extremely squared away as he would explain everything he was doing step-by-step. He took the x-rays quick and painlessly, which is not always the case with some other offices as they attempt to x-ray the front teeth. I truly believe their state of the art facility and equipment makes the process so much more efficient and comfortable. The cleaning was done with an airflow machine, which was quick and painless. I can't believe that every dental office does not use this type of equipment. Overall, it is my opinion that if you're going to some other dental office and are looking to change or you're new to the area and are just looking for an office to go to, I wholeheartedly would recommend Artsci. read more
