Prompt service. Arrived when scheduled to do an estimate and then to perform the work. Roofer worked extremely hard all day to fix a roof leak at the chimney, and it appears to have done the trick. Estimated price was the price charged. One issue: when removing an old satellite TV system which was connected to the roof and required disassembly, the TV /wifi cable was cut. This required a visit by Verizon to fix the cut cable. However, the roof repair which we requested, made the cut cable necessary. So no blame to ASA Roofing, just a heads up to others. Very happy with ASA Roofing. They did our roof a year or two ago, and I was very happy with the quality and communication. Their customer service is great. In fact, we have an ongoing project here at the house that required some roof work. I was concerned with my contractor's plan for roof integration so I called ASA and they sent Milton out. Milton took the time to look at what was being done, and in the end was able to reassure me that my contractor's plan would in fact work well. I also wanted to share that I called ASA to provide positive feedback for Milton and ASA's VP Camilla was very happy to hear it and she shared some background on how they view their relationship with the community. Extremely disappointed. Hired Antonio and the work was not done correctly. When the same spot on our roof leaked again only a month later, called Antonio to let him know. When we first spoke about the returning leak he said he would look into it and then call us back, however, he never did. We even emailed him a copy of our contract to show that he guaranteed his work for up to one year. After many weeks of calling and emailing him with no answer, we eventually had to hire another company to fix the issue. It was a terrible experience that we ended up having to pay for twice. We had a leak in our foyer coming from our roof. We are in a townhouse with 3 floors above ground so the roof is about 30 feet up. I called up several companies and ASA Roofing was the only one that came out and went up on the roof. Others showed up and had various reasons why they couldn't go up and take a look. I have the same experience as other folks. Most communication is via text. Then you can never reach them. They have poor follow up and no call no show seems to be there norm rather than the exception . They are cheaper but you get what you paid for. read more

I plan to have my roof inspected by a third party since I can't climb on the top of my three story townhouse and I had a new roof put on less than a year ago. My contractor tells me it is not common practice to stage people and equipment on another individuals roof- particularly without permission and indeed this can do damage to a roof. I've alerted the condo association and shared with them the video of your working throwing a large piece of flashing off my roof and newly hitting me as I exited my car - which is inexcusable. read more

This is easily the worst service I've ever received. Scheduled an appointment for someone to come look at my door and this appointment was canceled thirty minutes prior to the time of the appointment. We rescheduled and someone came and took photos of the door and told me they needed to replace the frame. Fantastic! We scheduled an appointment for them to come fix it between 9:30/10. It would take up to four hours. 9:30 rolls around, nobody is here. 10 rolls around. Nobody is here. Try reaching out to Antonio. Something is wrong with his phone so no response. Get a text from someone else who works for him who says he is on his way. I ask how long it will be until he arrives. No response. Neat! 10:30 there is a knock on the door. The man asks me if they are replacing the frame...as if I would actually know. He leaves to contact someone who might know/ youtubes how to replace a door frame. Man works on the door for maybe 45 minutes. Then he needs to go to Home Depot to get some parts. It will take an hour he says. Two hours have passed and I'm still waiting for him to return. I've also reached out to contact him and have received no response. I'd not recommend this company to anyone. You'd have better luck picking up a day laborer at 711. Edit: This service was requested under my landlord's name, which is why you don't have any services under my name. read more

Not the cheapest but they came with the best analysis and recommendation for fixing our chimney leak; responded very fast and did a very good job. How rude and unprofessional was my recent experience with CEO of ASA Roofing, Antonio Santander. A family member is very ill and I had limited time to find a contractor to repair my roof between downpours. Mr. Santander came to my house to do an inspection. He proceeded to tell me that the workmanship of the roofer that laid my roof was poor and was causing leaks for various reasons. He accepted the job to repair my roof, gave a reasonable verbal estimate, and said he would send an email estimate. The repairs would be done on the weekend. No estimate came after 4 days. I texted and called, not receiving a communication back. When I had another roofer do the inspection, the roof work was determined to be fine. The repairs were attributed to other causes than what Mr. Santander had stated, and the cost estimate to repair was very reasonable. Communication is an important part of business relation. Mr. Santander should value the time of his clients as much as his own. read more

In October 2014 I hired Antonio of ASA Roofing to install a drip edge on one side of my roof where some water during heavy rains was flowing from the underside of the gutter. His assistant arrived early and Antonio arrived a few minutes late which was not an issue. Prior to hiring ASA, Antonio explained in detail what he would do to solve the problem. He explained in more detail than two other companies that gave me estimates. Antonio answered all my questions and worked with me on the cost since it was a smaller job than the usual minimum charge. During the install of the drip edge he did 3 additional things, replaced a damaged shingle, installed a shingle that had blown off and attached the gutter more securely to the house. I was very pleased with the work, the price, and the professionalism. I would definitely use ASA again and recommend the company. read more

ASA installed a whole new roof on my house in Alexandria in 2013, including entirely rebuilding portions of the original roof (house was built in 1928). They did a fantastic job at a great price. They have been cleaning our gutters ever since and do a great job - again at a great price (I have gotten quotes from other companies). Very recently, we had water coming into our upstairs during a major storm as a result of damage that occurred to the roof after ASA's original work was completed. This was a weekend emergency situation and Antonio responded to my call within minutes and had a crew at my house within an hour, making the repairs in the rain. We were so grateful that they came and were able to fix the problem so quickly.
