    Smoked brisket nachos!

I love this place! I usually go to the Cheer Up Charlie's location. I love the smoked brisket tacos, quesadillas and nachos. The balance and proportions of everything are perfect. The flavor is amazing! The people who work there are always friendly. At the location that I normally go to, the chef/taco master Jake is super awesome! There are a ton of taco places to go in Austin. Asador easily exceeds most of them. The smoked brisket takes it over the top too. I super highly recommend!

Pretty solid taco place outside of seven grands! Came here for a friends bday Friday night and drank on an empty stomach. Luckily there's tacos outside to save the day. I got the brisket and lamb barbocoa tacos and they were delicious! A bit on the pricy side but worth the money.

This taco truck/stand was great! We came to Las Perlas for happy hour and ordered the cauliflower taco from the back patio as well as some chips. Super spicy and delicious! The guys making the tacos were so friendly and nice. The space was great inside the bar but the back patio was equally as fun!

Came here on a Thursday night. You have to go through the mezcal bar to get there. The guy who took our order wasn't very friendly and looked like he hated his job. But man were those brisket quesadillas delicious! I would stop by and give them a try if you're in the area. You won't regret it.

Food was hot and had great seasoning, the service was nice and fast, it's very beautiful outside to sit .. it was my first time in Austin and it was worth the stop ! Definitely would have it again Con: the quesadilla was just cheese and tortilla ( which I added my meat from my taco to it lol ) My Husband had the brisket taco and it was good as well !

Nah bro, these tacos different. I'm from Cali, not even the paisas doing it like this. Please whatever you do, order the BRISKET TACOS. I'm addicted This shit to fire It's in the back of the tequila/whiskey spot. Can't miss it

    Where you order

The shrimp taco, and mushroom taco -specials of the day- were both fine. The taco shell was soft and crunchy. Larger than the standard California type of taco. Tip (20%) is automatically included when you pay by card.

Overall: Hidden inside Seven Grand First off, this place was hella hard to find lol bc it is located inside the bar Seven Grand. When you go in, it's all the way in the back outside FOOD: super delicious for the late night munchies. We got four tacos - carnitas, chorizo, quesadilla, and barbacoa. And they were amazing! My favorites being the carnitas and barbacoa. The great thing is that they make their own tortilla. The texture of the tortilla was slightly crispy, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Can be considered pricey since 4 tacos were like $20. SERVICE/AMBIANCE: I will say it took a while to get the tacos, granted there was only one dude making them . People working there were super friendly and chill. Very dimly lit place inside while outside there is a lot of space with heat lamps to keep warm.

What a hidden gem for Austin. As you walk through the bar and reach the outside patio, you see a grill top and a bunch of coolers. I was expecting a very average taco based on the setup but let me start by telling you, this is no average taco spot. We placed our order and after the guy was done charging us, he turned around and started prepping the tacos. It took about 5 or 6 minutes but the order is brought to you while you drink. The moment you take a bite, you can taste the freshness. From the home made tortillas, to the perfectly cooked and marinated meat inside. Topped with just the right amount of onions and peppers to make your mouth water. All of this for ~$3 each, and you make the perfect spot. I will definitely be back here again!

Brisket taco, cauliflower taco, margarita and Paloma. The brisket taco is great! The margarita was pretty good too.

The best brisket tacos in Austin. I'm from LA and I know good tacos. These are a must. Their flour tortillas are homemade and insanely good.

Cauntos Tacos was recommended to me by my BF, and we decided to go all in with the "1 of Each Kind"…read moremenu option. Boy, am I glad we did this--it was the perfect way to try a little bit of everything and compare favorites side by side. Sauderos - One of my top choices. Great texture and flavor with a nice richness to it. That said, carnitas and longaniza still edged it out for me. Cachete - Almost felt like a milder cousin to the carnitas. I personally preferred the milkier flavor profile of the carnitas, but this was still delicious and incredibly satisfying. Buche - Softer and mushier than I would typically like in a meat filling, but the flavor itself was undeniably good. Texture held it back a bit for me. Carnitas - A classic milkiness that's genuinely hard to beat. Rich, comforting, and probably one of my favorite carnitas I've had so far. Definitely a standout. Longaniza - I've never really been a chorizo person... until now. This completely changed my mind. Deep red color, intensely meaty flavor, rich without being overwhelming--easily one of my favorites of the bunch. Champiñones - More flavorful and spicier than I expected. The mushrooms had a pleasantly chewy texture instead of turning mushy, which I appreciated a lot. Great mushroom flavor overall. Revuelta - Not actually on the menu, but something we personally requested. Delicious combination of meats, though tasting everything back-to-back made this one come across a bit saltier. Still, the pairing worked really well and made for a satisfying bite. The sauces deserve a mention too. The green sauce packed noticeably more heat and leaned herbaceous, while the red sauce had a beautiful smokiness that completely won both my best friend and me over. Service was honestly one of the fastest and most efficient I've seen from a food truck. Everything moved quickly and smoothly despite the steady flow of people. My only real downside had nothing to do with the food itself--I hated standing outside at 8 PM dealing with bugs while eating, but that's more the nature of the setup than the fault of the truck. Overall, I was genuinely impressed by the meat quality and how distinct each taco felt from the next. Carnitas and longaniza were the clear winners for me, but there honestly wasn't a bad taco in the lineup.

5 Stars - So Good, Worth the Hype…read more We finally tried Cuantos Tacos and wow... it absolutely lived up to the hype. Food: The tacos were incredible--fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. You can taste the quality right away. Everything was seasoned perfectly, and the tortillas tasted fresh and authentic. We tried a few different tacos and honestly didn't have a single miss. Simple menu, but done really, really well. Service: Service was friendly and efficient. Even with a line, things moved quickly and the staff were welcoming and patient. You can tell they know what they're doing and take pride in the food. Ambiance: It has that fun Austin food-truck vibe--casual, lively, and a little busy, but in a good way. It feels like one of those places locals love and keep coming back to. Overall: Easy five stars. Amazing tacos, great service, and a cool atmosphere. Definitely a spot we'll be coming back to again and again.

I ordered 2 steak tacos and horchata, both very delicious. The horchata is milky and sweet but not crazy sweet, and topped off with cinnamon. The steak tacos came out pretty hot, fresh from the grill. I got them on corn tortillas and I'm glad I did: idk if they make them in house but somebody in some house is making these because they definitely aren't store bought, and if they are I want to know where! I tried the orange habanero and creamy serrano salsas. The habanero was spicy off the bat, while the serrano had more of a lingering burn. Both paired well with the steak. They have a little bar, too, though I did not imbibe this time. Seems like they have a decent selection of agave spirits, and even Campari behind the bar (iykyk). Give them a shot, and thank the ladies in the kitchen.
