Super delicious sushi and the fish was incredibly buttery and fresh. Service was extremely fast as well. The only issue I had was I felt rushed with my ordering. It could have been just me being weird but I normal order two rounds in sushi which I feel is normal. But I had to tell staff that I wasn't ready to order yet multiple times and it really had only been a few minutes. They have a large menu and I needed more time to look. And then when we were done, they just gave the check even though I had asked for a menu to get more food. The nigiri sushi here is always fresh and flavorful. I'm not a roll person, but I'm always pleasantly satisfied with the service and the portion size of their nigiri. I've come here several times and every time was a pleasant experience. I wish they offered omikase. They also have some yummy sakes as well. Had a great dinner at this new neighborhood gem . The service was nice and efficient. The portions were big and the prices were relatively cheaper than other Japanese restaurants in the area. We had a variety of sushi rolls that were delicious and big in portion. The yum yum fries which were fried squid legs were surprisingly tender and not overcooked. The hamachi kama was a great size, perfect for sharing. We will definitely make this one of our new go to spots. read more

The rolls were just fine, but hamachi roll was not fresh at all. We noticed that the small ref(?) in front of the sushi men was open all the time while they were making their food. I know it should be closed, but oh well. We didn't finish the hamachi rolls, but what caught our tastebuds was the scallop fried rice. It cant go wrong with baked scallop with cheese and flavored rice. It was too burnt on some sides that we removed quite a bit. It might be salty for some, but we'll probably come here for fried rice than roll/fresh fish. read more

I am delighted to have a new sushi restaurant in the Hopkins village. It's right across from Monterey Market, one of my favorite places, and across from one of the Red Oak Realty offices, so the perfect location for me, as a Red Oak agent. The service was cheerful, and exceptionally prompt. We tried a Cherry Blossom roll, which was tasty, generous and also very handsome. We had two other rolls that were very tasty. But for those of us who don't care for spicy, you need to carefully read the descriptions, as we mistakenly ordered a roll with spicy tuna. Fortunately one of our party was happy to polish it off. We ordered hamachi sashimi: the fish was fresh and tender, and the portion was generous. We will be back!
