Finally tried Uni Sushi! It was surprisingly very good. I was impressed with the rolls. Everything was fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. We ordered avocado rolls, spider rolls, dragon rolls, Naruto rolls, Godzilla rolls, tako, some fried beef rice. Service was great, fast and attentive. The only thing I would say is it could be a little cleaner (especially the floors). Food was an A+. I will definitely be back next time a sushi craving hits.

I already ate more than half! Picture doesn't reflect yummy goodness!

New business, good service and great food. Stopped in here for lunch today and had some delicious sushi. Sashimi and some assorted specialty rolls. Not too crowded as they just opened but if made for a nice, quiet, relaxing lunch.

The freshest fish in Centennial!…read more My husband and I were looking to try a new sushi spot not too far away from our house and when we saw how highly rated Taku was we knew we had to give it a shot. When you walk in you immediately feel how cozy and beautifully decorated the restaurant is. Refined and relaxed at the same time. The staff are so friendly and pleasant and they were so cheerful and helpful! We started with the "monkey brain" and the sashimi ceviche. I would say the sashimi ceviche would be all you need to order - incredible quality fish. The rolls we ordered were the Taku signature roll and black dragon. Black dragon was our favorite. For an opulent meal for two we paid $95 with tip a good price all considered. 5 stars, our new favorite dine in sushi place in Centennial.

We made reservations and arrived a little early to a packed restaurant. No surprise considering it was a Friday night, but reminding staff of our reservation created a little bit of a wait for our party of 10. Once we were seated, a nice, young server came to us to take our drink order. Some opted for cocktails, others for soda, some just sipped on water. The selection of sushi rolls, hand rolls, soups, salads and appetizers is outstandingly huge. I was tasked with ordering for the group, so I rattled off 20 ish rolls that seemed good to everyone's liking. Seaweed and Kani salads made their way around the table, along with crispy tuna rice and tempura veggies - a great way to start! YUM! Then....the largest sushi boat I have ever sailed our way - filled to the brim with our rolls and displayed in the most fun and creative way!! I captured a video of the magic and 2.3 million people on TikTok seemed to like it as much as we did! The sushi was fresh, delicious and totally hit the spot. I overordered for our group (some ordered their own entrees) so we left with many to-go boxes for next day's enjoyment! Pricing is on point and reasonable for the quality and freshness of the fish. Our bill for all of us with everything was under $400 which was shocking to me! I will take off 1 star for service. I know our party was huge, requested a large amount of food and drinks, but service lacked. A space for us wasn't ready upon arrival (creating a wait/rush to push tables together for our party), our waters were never refilled, extra plates never cleared, cocktails/beer forgotten (which we didn't end up paying for considering we didn't get it), and the entire experience left us kind of disappointed - but willing to give the place another shot. Having worked in food service, I understand the issues associated with larger parties and the pressure it creates, so I'd come back - and especially for to-go orders! yum!

The appetizers alone are worth the visit, do not skip the spicy tuna crispy rice cakes (perfectly balanced with just the right kick), the edamame (simple but elevated), and the hamachi, which was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented. I am still dreaming about that spicy tuna crispy rice cakes!!! The cocktail menu deserves its own spotlight. The rosé spritz was light, refreshing, and dangerously easy to sip, while the margaritas were perfectly crafted and bright, balanced, not overly sweet. Cocktail presentation was A+! For the main course, the salmon was nothing short of perfection, cooked flawlessly and paired with the not-to-be-missed cilantro lime rice, which honestly deserves its own fan club. Absolute chef's kiss. And let's talk sushi, because wow. The mango tango roll was vibrant and flavorful, the torched salmon roll melted in your mouth, and the atomic roll brought just the right amount of heat. Each roll was as beautiful as it was delicious!! Our only regret? Not saving room for dessert. Apparently, the bread pudding is the talk of the town, and after everything else we experienced, we have zero doubt it's as incredible as everyone says. I recommend planning ahead with a reservation, as they can get busy during a dinner rush. We were visiting Colorado for a quick weekend trip and were floored by the food here. While the rolls all sounded great, we opted for an omakase experience. It is priced at market value, so I imagine this could vary over time, but they had three tiers for omakase, which I thought were all fairly priced for the amount of food included. We opted for the highest tier, which was $120 pp, and it was incredibly filling with high quality cuts of fish and a thoughtfully curated menu. The sushi chef who took care of us was incredibly kind, and it was clear he put a lot of care into the food he prepared. If you're on the fence, hop off and make that reservation and come hungry for the omakase experience!

The sushi menu is tiny compared to any legitimate sushi spot, and the menu itself was filthy. Not "a little worn," actually dirty. First impressions matter, and this place failed immediately. There was also zero indication whether you seat yourself or wait to be seated, so customers are left awkwardly standing around wondering what's going on. To make things worse, the entrance feels bizarre and rundown, like you're sneaking into the back of a storage building instead of entering a restaurant. If you want real wasabi, go to a proper sushi restaurant. This felt more like a watered-down imitation than a real dining experience. 1/10

However, within a few minutes of placing the order I received a call, wanting to confirm which location I had wanted to place the order through. I had accidentally chosen the wrong location so they canceled my order and had me place it again online. They called the other individual I was with who also placed an order. This must happen pretty often if they're calling every single person that places an online order and I will say that I did not notice that I picked the wrong location when I placed the order. So I was grateful that they called to confirm. The order was ready when we arrive to the location and everything was accurate. I started with edamame. And I will say it is pretty standard edamame. I also wanted to try a California roll. It was really fresh and I would definitely order one again. My favorite of the appetizers was that Gyoza. Those were so good. I always order them with Ramen in Kansas City but these knocked any of those out of the park. For Ramen, I went with a classic tonkatsu. The menu description said that it came with corn and bok choy, but I was missing both of those items. The Ramen itself was really good. The broth was super rich and they gave you a lot. There were also a lot of Ramen noodles. And I did like the addition of the bamboo shoots. The marinated egg was fantastic. This classic was so tasty. If I lived in the area, I would definitely visit pretty often. There's so many different menu items that looked so good and I'm sure the other Ramen varieties are fantastic as well.

The staff were genuinely warm and attentive without being overbearing, and the space feels welcoming from the moment you walk in.  The sushi and sashimi are the real highlight. Everything was noticeably fresh and beautifully presented. The Yellowtail & Jalapeño Specialty Sashimi was a standout -- tender yellowtail paired with fresh jalapeño, cilantro, and a bright yuzu garlic sauce that pulled every element together. The Truffle Orange Salmon was visually striking and tasted just as good as it looked. The rolls are creative and well-executed. The Spicy Tuna Hand Roll is a reliable must-order, but the Denver Bomb Roll genuinely surprised me. Crispy lobster tempura and crab wrapped in cucumber delivered a combination of crunch, freshness, and richness that felt completely unique. The Kobe Beef Roll -- grilled beef, lettuce, and asparagus -- rounded out the meal with a satisfying, savory finish. The lunch specials offer serious value. The Chicken Teriyaki Bento Box came with egg drop soup, cream cheese wontons, and sushi. It was filling and well-portioned.  Don't skip the cocktails. The Lychee and Mango Martinis were smooth and flavorful, and the Cucumber Chiller was crisp and genuinely refreshing -- exactly what you want alongside a sushi spread in the summer. East Moon Asian Bistro covers a lot of ground: a huge menu, strong lunch specials, top-quality sushi, and cocktails worth ordering. I'd recommend it without hesitation to anyone in the Centennial area looking for a reliable, impressive dining experience.
