    Nigiri

Such good AYCE!! The nigiri was definitely the best. Wow, yummy. $35 per person for dinner, pretty good. Not a bad bite here but if I had to skip anything, it'd be the spicy tuna. Salmon nigiri was my standout of the night, so simple and good. Also no wait on a Friday night.

Always enjoyed the specialty sashimi at Sho Sushi & Izakaya. The mango tuna, bincho kizami, lime hotate buri, hamachi jalapeno, salmon carpaccio, seared tuna wasabi and tako ponzu were all addictively tasty. Usually ordered sashimi and nigiri instead of rolls when having AYCE there as the rolls were more filling. The taste of lobster dynamite was rich and complex and zaru udon dipping the homemade sauce was surprisingly refreshing. Still cannot figure out why the mochi ice cream was not included in AYCE though, as isn't dessert the exclamation mark to finish a good meal?

It's a modern Asian eatery with an AYCE and a la cart options. All of the items taste fresh. They weren't super busy so the food came out fairly quickly. The skewers & Korean BBQ ribs were overdone like jerky but did have good flavors. Miso soup had depth but a bit on the salty side. Server was friendly & came around often. Fair value for what you get.

My 1st time visiting since Sho started to offer AYCE. From my past visit, I did like their food and service and today was a perfect opportunity to try. Saturday lunch is considered as dinner and charged accordingly at $34.99. Did I eat more? Probably not. Did they serve dinner sized portion? Probably not. Overall, I will not try the AYCE at Sho. For 2 people with one small beer and tip, it came out to $100. Pro: you get to try different items, mini version of it. You have different color options and for $34.99, you can enjoy most of their offerings. KFC was good, 3 orders of fried calamari will be good, tempura came out piping hot, udong was good too. Ramen anyone? Cons: lot of rice on mini nigiris. Yikes! Check my photos out. They are so tiny and so cute. Next time l will just skip the AYCE and go for full sized... maybe

Exceptional AYCE sushi restaurant with stellar food and service. Go for the orange menu so you can choose anything on the menu. Everything was so fresh and tasty. Best AYCE I have ever been to. Great rolls, sashimi, appetizers, salads, Nigiri and soups. Please give it a try.. .

The atmosphere was lovely and the food was phenomenal. I came here for my cousins birthday and had a great time with my company. I felt that the service was rushed. Our waiter seemed to be impatient the entire time we were there. I didn't let that get in the way of having a good time. The seafood was very fresh. Their plating was delicious. Very good prices for the quality of all you can eat sushi. I didn't get to label pictures as I had no idea which roll was which as she just placed it down in front of us and didn't mention anything. Would definitely give this place another try.

Hooray - we found a great new AYCE sushi place - we hope to become regulars. Everything was delicious ; we went with the Orange AYCE level and every Orange was awesome. The best tasting sashimi choices

Beautiful high ceiling and modern atmosphere. Very good service and delicious all you can eat (AYCE) sushi. This is my favorite AYCE Sushi restaurant in Denver. We got the blue AYCE. Their menu for appetizers and side also includes some Korean dishes, including tteokbokki and Korean spicy ramen. Highly recommend this restaurant.

First time here! AYCE sushi can either be a hit or a miss, and this restaurant leans more to the 'hit' side. This was a more secure place located in Centennial, next to the highway. They offer AYCE sushi at $25 for lunch, $35 for dinner (+$5 for the premium menu). I honestly would recommend going all in and getting the premium. The sashimi salad is great and everything comes fresh. The service was helpful and checked up on us to see if we needed anything. It does get busy pretty quick so I do recommend heading there when they open. The are itself was kinda small from photos but it does feel a lot bigger than it looks online. Chill atmosphere with good service. I do wish they had fresh oysters in stock since I like to try out oysters everywhere I go, but next time. Will be back if I'm in the area.

Sashimi was delicious. Sushi rice was not authentic, so the rolls are not good at all. The chef should taste the food.

Let me first…read moresay that the service was extremely friendly and I liked it a lot, which makes me feel bad about what I'm about to say. Please note that I tried things that other people have mentioned in their reviews as things they liked. I had the crunchy tuna appetizer, which was essentially several golf ball sized lumps of rice deep fried, with a tiny amount of tuna and I think avocado on top. It probably should have been called the crunchy rice appetizer, and really was not, to me, worth $14. Next up was the Joker roll, which I believe is mentioned by more than one person as their favorite thing here. If you like pepper, it's the roll for you. I have never had such a peppery sushi roll in my life and I did not like it. My final roll was the mango roll. Now I know what mangoes are and I knew what I was getting, so I can't really blame the restaurant for the fact that I guess I've learned I'm not a big fan of sushi rolls with fruit on them. It was well made for what it was, just not my particular favorite. The miso soup was lovely. The restaurant was nice and clean and as I have said, the service was impeccable, friendly, really everything you would want. Which is all the more reason I was disappointed that the food did not ring a bell with me. If you go to this restaurant, I would suggest you avoid the things I've mentioned and perhaps try some others. You may have better luck than I did, and you will be served well in the process.

The elaborate wallpaper and wall art inside were a bit too over-the-top and yet, I can simply say that they paid attention to create what the restaurant names says it: Sakura. It's pretty much pink. Each table is also beautifully done on the surface with Sakura art. Kind of cute. Service - Good. The lady who greeted me asked me "How many?" to which I said "To go, please." She immediately handed me the laminated menu so I can mark with a pen and the regular menu booklet. From the moment I gave her my order and the moment I got my food, there was only 5 minutes or less time that elapsed. I was a bit shocked how quickly they prepared my food (she said I was the first person to place an order for the night. Well, Whereas I am not complaining about the fast service, it was suspiciously too fast!!) Mistake - As soon as I got home, I opened the bag. The kitchen or possibly the lady who got my order made a mistake by giving me the miso soup instead of salad (miso soup or salad comes with the Sashimi Dinner ($32.00 as of mid-August of 2025). I clearly and loudly said I wanted the salad but in her mind, the salad became the miso soup (LOL). Although I don't think it was intentional, mistake is a mistake. A bit disappointed....Well, you wanna know how the miso soup tasted? It was decent! Food - What I got tonight are/were...1) Sashimi Dinner, Edamame ($6.00) and, 3) Side White Rice ($3) and I think in this kind of economy, these prices are fairly in range. Let me rate each one. Sashimi Dinner - It was okay-ish. It didn't impress me. I really don't have anything more to say about this sashimi plate. Edamame - Good and yet they didn't sprinkle any salt (I don't think). Maybe they knew I hate salt (LOL!!) Well, in many cases, I dislike salty dishes so to be considerate of people who dislike salty stuff, this is what the restaurant does by not sprinkle any salt over steamed edamame (so in other words, "salt it yourself" type situation?) I guess this isn't a bad thing after all. White Rice - Meh. It tasted like hand lotion a little bit. I have an experience with this and that is why I am very sensitive to it (unfortunately, it was my own mother who used hand lotion before she prepared food/meals for me and my brother so some food she cooked/prepared for us tasted just like hand lotion.) I can have a benefit of the doubt that they wouldn't be so insensitive by handling food with lotioned-up hands. Or maybe it's the kind of rice they buy. Whatever the case may be, this rice was no no for me. Yes, there are a few things I can talk about this restaurant in a positive way but all in all, it was a disappointing experience. Will I go back? Maybe not.

Everything we had: from the sushi, to grilled items like Takoyai and Yakitory skewers, to Tempura, and even the plainer stuff like udon noodle soup and (simply) salted kamachi hama, was flavorful and carefully crafted.
