Living in Cleburne, there seems to be a shortage of unique places to eat. I was so glad to learn of this place. Went and tried it out and was amazed how good it was. The menu has plenty of options to choose from, and the food quality was top notch. From the rolls, to sushi, to hibachi style food, it was all 5 stars. The atmosphere is great, plenty of TVs in every direction if there happens to be something on you are interested in viewing. Good parking, and easy to find. It was okay at best. This is my second time and both orders were to go. The sushi is good but its everything else. Ordered a bento box with sushi and came with standard California roll and salad with an order of spring rolls. There is not much to any Japanese salad it's about the dressing. The dressing was a sugar boom and yes honey is added but sparingly when make it. Then the spring rolls again a lot of sugar. Thought it was the sweet and sour sauce that came with it but no. They are either adding sugar or honey to the dough or stuffing. Usual sin in cooking is either too little salt or too much. Please cut out the excess sweetness. read more

Surprisingly good for Cleburne. Atmosphere: Decor was fresh but may start feeling kitschy after awhile. I was not crazy about the big flat screen TVs playing whatever sports game was on. The screens are not really placed where you can actually watch them except at the bar. The sound was also clashing with the music that was piped in. I really hate this new thing in restaurants with playing TVs to make a restaurant feel more "lively". We sat in a booth, which slid across the ground every time me or the girl behind me got up. Both of us are pretty petite so I can't imagine what it would be like for someone with a little more weight behind them. The booths really should be anchored down somehow. Service: for the number of people just standing around, service was slow and it was not that busy. I had to ask for a dish for my soy sauce but it took me so long to get anyone's attention the warm food of my Bento box was cold by time I was able to eat it. Food: the was actually pretty good. My love had the Hibachi Salmon, I had the Sashimi Bento box. The Hibachi was prepared well and tasted good. The sashimi was fresh and the warm sides were also prepared well. The California roll was bland and the rice seemed a little dried out. I did have to ask for dipping sauces for the Shrimp tempura and the Gyoza. They had them, they just didn't bring them out along with the dish for soy sauce. So, overall... I'll give an optimistic 4 out of 5 stars. They definitely have a few kinks to work out still. Most notably: service and the ambient noise. Keep up the food quality and cleanliness consistent and this one may last awhile. read more

Traveling here from out of state, we decided to drive 40 miles to the nearest Japanese place with a decent review. It was worth it and not disappointing in anyway. This food is delicious. Then when we finally stopped her, she went and got the menu and waved at us down the rows. When we asked to talk to management she started arguing with us that they were busy. I counted 6 booths with people in them. This is the second time we have had bad service. Then to argue with a customer is just unexpectable. read more

As of 9/16/2020, they reopened their dine in. My boyfriend and I had never been here before, so we decided to go out on a limb and try this place out. We walked in the door and the interior is decorated so beautifully! Not only were we met with top tier decor, but we were also served very quickly! We tried a variety of different items, cooked and raw. Everything surpassed my expectations! The raw fish was very delicious, had excellent texture, and no fishy taste or smell! When we walked in we got seated pretty quickly. As soon as we sit down everything was a bit too fast paced the waitress came to the table and asked what we would like to drink and immediately after asked about food. We explained it's our first time and would need a bit longer to look at the menu. She came back in less than two minutes and asked again this time, more persistently with her pen and paper already out. So we felt rushed and ordered the first things that we had thought about when we got our food. It tasted very soggy and like it had been sitting in storage for a while the sauces were too sweet and everything just tasted a bit off. I came with my best friend while visiting and I ordered the cowboy roll gyoza and a shrimp teriyaki box while she ordered the California roll and teriyaki chicken. The only thing good out of all of that was the gyoza. With the boxes there's apparently an up charge to have fried rice instead of white rice. I don't even live around here but I know for a fact we both won't be coming back. There is definitely better food elsewhere. Although I'd like to try and say ways that could have made the service better. There's not too much I can say about the food. Although the customer service could slow down. I don't see a reason to try to shoo people along while there is only a few people in the restaurant. I definitely felt like she did not want us there. read more

My wife had 2 rolls she didn't care for, because they had the dark grey wrap on them. She said they were tough and pretty much tasteless. What a time......... we had not been since they opened and were in an Asian mood. My husband got sushi and I teriyaki steak. Both were HUGE let downs. The fish in my husbands rolls were soft and probably under temp. And the teriyaki sauce was the consistency of loose jello, and slid off the meat. And the rice was hard and left out feeling. Not a good time. I would not recommend going. Save your money and go to Fort Worth or Burleson. Or at least panda across the street. read more
