Long story short my windshield made friends with a rock resulting in what I thought was a significant chip. I scheduled a chip repair and arrived for my appointment. The service representative took my keys and went to inspect the glass. He arrived a few minutes later and told me that there was no need to worry as it was a just a surface ship which does not need repairing. He also took the time to educate me on when a chip needs to be repaired vs not. He saved me a significant sum of money and I also learned a thing or two along the way. Quick easy and responsive describes my experience. Called on a Sunday and repaired on a Monday. I'd have waited at least a week longer for the 'big guys' and paid 30% more for the privilege. It's a small shop so that's geared to deliver a fast no frills experience. Who needs frills? You just need unbroken glass, right? I called right away, was given a great estimate, and was able to get in for service a few hours later. It took about an hour to get my window replace. My mechanic, Carlos, was great! He kept me updated throughout the service and reassured me that he'd get everything fixed. When my keys got returned, they said there might be some crackling noises because off glass that fell into cracks they couldn't get too. I'm glad they were honest with me and did their best to get everything cleaned up! Carlos even repaired the exterior damage. My wife looked at reviews on Google and found this establishment and saw that the pricing was quite reasonable. She contacted them to do the work. The bill was $85. The work, as you can see in the picture of the billing receipt we received, was guaranteed. The work did not hold, the crack spread, and we contacted the company for a refund. Up front, I will say we did receive our refund eventually. However, it was how it was handled, in part, that led to this low rating. Normally, I would not go out of my way to describe the situation in detail, but please see this as a kind of public service report. First, my wife texted the contact person to arrange for a refund. He was already gaslighting her that it wasn't his fault the work did not hold. His reply was curt. In my opinion, it was rude. But, he agreed to come see it. When he arrived, he was agitated enough that my wife asked me to accompany her with the person to our car. He was rather aggressive and rude to us both. When we reminded him of the guarentee listed on his website and the billing receipt, he became extremely agitated, stated that another hit caused the crack to expand and he did not think this was his responsibility to refund. We disagreed. He swore under his breath, pulled out his wallet and said he'd refund. However, he did not have the cash on him and hurriedly stated he'd mail us a check. We were not confident he would, but to his credit, he did. If this was the end of it, I would not bother to write this review. Maybe he had a bad day. We all lose our cool from time to time. It is the next action he took that led to this low rating. After his rude behavior, he was so flustered, he jammed his wallet back into his pocket, got into his car, and sped away at a dangerous rate of speed from our neighborhood. We have dozens of small children who walk and ride bikes and scooters. We have people with disabilities and older adults who don't move as quickly as they used to move. His driving was dangerous! I'm grateful nobody got hurt as he sped out of the neighborhood. It was a thoughtless, reckless, immature action that could have ended tragically. Certainly not worth $85. If I'd have known he would have done that, I would not have bothered with the refund! I'm just glad he mailed it and did not return to our neighborhood. I would not have wanted him endangering anyone I know with his demonstrated reckless. This review is for your consideration when hiring car windshield repair service. Post script: We had the windshield replaced at the nearby Safelite Repair in West Allis. Expensive service (safety system required recalibration), but consummate professionals.

I was inform before the work was begun that the repair would be visible. The chip was much less visible after the repair. Now a year later the repair is fine and I am still happy. I got a new chip in the windshield that started to spread. I texted Jim and he quoted me a price. He said he could come out the following morning and do the repair. He arrived exactly when he said he would did the repair. I was very pleased because with very cold weather imminent; one days wait would have allowed the crack to spread beyond the possibility of repair. He also repaired a chip on my wife's windshield for a reasonable price, since he was already at my home. I am very pleased with the service and will call in the future.
