I initially posted this review back in August 2017. I was immediately contacted by ASAP threatening to SUE me for my review. I explained exactly what happened as I did in my review and all the blame was put on the person that had come to my home. I did agree the guy who came out did everything wrong, was then told I should change my review to reflect that ASAP did nothing wrong. I did not do that because the guy worked for them, came to my home and ended up costing me a ton to get it fixed. I was writing a different review and looked over past posts and ... my review was nowhere to be found on ASAP PLUMBING! I had a new A/C unit put in my house in 2009 and have had it serviced every year since then. I have never had any problems with my unit, but feel that's because I use preventative maintenance. This year 2017, my normal A/C guy was super busy and being it was just a maintenance service call I went with someone local that had been recommended on our Ahwatukee board. My husband and I were sitting on the couch having a conversation when the tech went to out back where our unit is, He was out there for maybe 10 min. he came in and went up to where the air handler is, spent maybe 10 min up there and comes down. Comes over to us and says everything looks good, BUT you need to have a Run Capacitor replaced soon. I said soon, what does that mean and why? He mentioned some numbers that made no sense to me and then said and, you have a leak in your air return in the attic. I'm thinking to myself, well that does not sound like everything is ok to me. I asked him if he can send me an invoice of what needs replacing or repairing, he said sure. I did not notice anything right away. My house did feel hotter but it was during that really intense hot spell we had here in Phoenix so I figured my A/C unit had to just work harder. My bill that month with SPR was over $325 and I have never had a bill that high since living in this house. I chalked it up to the excessive heat. A few weeks later while I was at work I had a friend go by and pick up my dogs, he calls and says you have a problem with your A/C it's really hot in your house! Wonderful, I am a Paramedic so I would not be home until Saturday morning. I call my REGULAR A/C guy to come check out my A/C unit. He is not here for 2 min when he says come out here I want to show you something. My system is bone dry of freon. We both kind of looked at each other wondering how is that the possible? I told him I had a guy out to service it just 2 weeks about and he said nothing about freon, but he did say I needed a part replaced soon. I remembered I had the invoice he sent me. I find the invoice and bring it out back, he reads it and says this makes no sense. He opens a side panel and shows me the run capacitor that ASAP wanted to replace, says 70 on the side, there is a fan capacitor by it that says 7.5 on it. ASAP said my RUN CAPACITOR should be running at 7.5 He hooks his meter to both showing me that both are working exactly as they should. The run capacitor he wanted to charge me $534 to replace does not even run 7.5 microfarads, the fan capacitor does, but again both ARE WORKING EXACTLY AS THEY ARE SUPPOSE TO WORK. My guy goes into the attic to look for this leak he was talking about, can't find any leak. I VIDEOTAPED ALL OF THIS BY THE WAY. After much searching, we find the leak. It is in the bottom of my unit outside. There are 2 copper pipes that cross, there is a factory placed foam type insulator placed between the 2 pipes so they do not rub or touch. This foam had been intentionally pulled away from the 2 pipes, allowing them to rub and cause a small leak, slowly draining all my freon. Now I can not say for sure that ASAP did this, but no one had touched my A/C unit other than the tech that came out from ASAP, PLUS given the invoice that was sent to me for repairs that were not even needed and a leak that was never found in the attic, I have to wonder why in the hell would I think he didn't cause this problem hoping that I would call him to do the repairs? The evidence speaks volumes, in my opinion. I now have my A/C back working better than ever, minus $1000 in repairs that did not go to ASAP. read more

UPDATE: Just a couple of hours after posting this, they sent me a two line quote for $8100.00 for a 14 Seer unit. No mention of brand, tonnage, or what's included. That's nearly TWO THOUSAND DOLLARS more than some other companies I've had come out. Think about it. 2 GRAND. That's nuts. To add insult to injury, the $8100 is AFTER they deducted $250 for the govt. Rebate. Problem? The government rebate currently being offered is FIVE HUNDRED dollars! Would I ever hire this company? NEVER. Seriously disappointed​. They have great reviews, but they seem to be mostly for water purification systems. I called because my 19 year old AC system died, and its time for a new one. The teach came out, and seemed pissed that he wasn't doing a repair. It's now been a week, and I don't have my quote for a new system. They may be awesome, but if they don't want to sell me something, I really can't recommend them. Especially since they knew I had no air. read more

They came out to do a single sink swap and it turned into much more than anticipated. Without having to go somewhere else for parts they installed a new disposal, fixed the plumbing problem and got the sink installed without having to come back at a later date. installer was very polite and professional. read more

Showed up on time and fixed all of the issues. Very Pricey in my opinion, otherwise they did a good job.

Water heater started leaking a couple days before Christmas. ASAP plumbing provided a fast and competing bid within an hour. About 1.5 hours later they were onsite and replaced the water heater. Fast, quality and competitive! read more

Way too expensive and they charged you a different price compared to what they quoted. The owner was supposed to call us back regarding the charge disputes but he never did. read more

I called out ASAP plumbing to my property for a clogged drain. The technician came out within three hours and fixed it quick. They were in and out in 30 minutes. They saved the day!!! read more

My husband and I love ASAP plumbing! We have a Palo Verde tree that the previous owner brilliantly decided to plant over the main sewer line. Roots invaded the pipe, and on a Sunday night, after a long flight from SC, our toilets and drains started backing up. We called ASAP, as we'd used them previously, and they sent someone out at 11:30 that night to unplug everything. Fast service, and extremely reasonable considering it was after hours on a Sunday. They came out again to confirm with a camera that it was indeed roots, and then proceeded to dig a really deep hole. They replaced the pipe, poured concrete around it to hopefully keep the roots out, backfilled the hole, and then even replaced the pavers they'd removed to get to the pipe. I had some issues with a running toilet. The noise was driving me crazy! Cody came out and told me what all needed to be replaced and how much it would cost, including the service fee. I had the AC check up today to find out the cause for my water damage. Matt found the problem and fixed the issue onsite. He guide me how to maintain the AC units and he was very honest about the work. Some company will try to sell or push you to replace some parts even if there isn't much problem. I believe the price was very reasonable but I wish I have got some discounts since I was the new customer. Also the owner seems to know how to communicate with the customer as well. In less than 24 hours they had my garbage disposal fixed. Showed up exactly when they said they would and although I missed the gentleman's name who did the repair he was thorough and explained everything without making me feel like I was being talked down to. He even made sure I had other numbers in case I had any additional issues with water damage. A++++++ These guys are the best! read more

Very expensive. Chose not to use. Repair: Change shower cartridge. Cost: $490.00. Itemized cost: $65.00 for parts, $425.00 for labor. It is at most a one hour job. $425 per hour? That is about what my lawyer charges for a two hour consultation. I hated to say no, but I just can't pay $425 per hour to even the best plumber out there. Sorry. I'll just pay the $69 visit fee. read more

We had water flooding our lawn near the meter box. Called for emergency service late at night and Alex the plumber came out the next morning to help us out. He found out we had a broken washer/seal on the main line. He replaced it, patch the lawn back and clean up the job site in an hour. We got lucky that it wasn't a broken pipe buried deep underground. He's friendly and professional. Excellent job and I would highly recommend to friends and family. read more

Had a main line leak in my front yard on the afternoon Friday July 1st, right before the 4th and when most people were leaving town. I called a couple of places and ASAP was willing to come out that day and after working with that plumber he determined they could come the next morning which was crucial because we had no water. They were there early and it ended up to be a larger job than they thought. They thought it would be trench-less but instead they had to spend many hours digging a trench and they did a great job not ruining any of my plants. That was huge. I also wasn't charged more due to them having to trench, they were friendly and huge thank you to Stefan/Stephan (Unsure of the spelling). He was really great, friendly, explained what they did and was very knowledgeable. He also did a great job of letting me know when they would be complete. The other workers, including Luis were great too. They were very careful with the yard and worked incredibly hard in very hot heat on a Saturday. Called for a new water tank and was given a time of between 2-4 pm and Jason was the person scheduled to perform the work. Jason who never showed up as he was late. I received a call and was rescheduled for the first time the next day. Received the text and email alerts yet no Jason, he never showed up again so I had to follow up to see where this Jason guy was. Finally received a call back and was told Stefan was going to the job. He arrived in about an hour and looked at the leaking hot water tank and started off with all the up charge extras that would be needed. I had my wife run to Home Depot for the pan as they wanted 50 bucks for a $15 item. All said and done an additional $115 dollars of extra charges on top of the quoted price for the tank. Needless to say they have a poor response and unneeded supply lines at 35 bucks each. I WOULD MOVE ON TO A MORE REPUTABLE COMPANY TO PERFORM YOUR WORK!!!!! At first I had some issues with ASAP's work, which included a challenging project of plumbing for an outdoor shower, replacement of a defunct soft-water unit and other jobs. Called these guys for a weekend job, after reading all the good reviews. Their weekend price ($119) was more than many of the other guys, but ended up calling them since they were ready to come within 2 hrs or so. The plumber took more than 4 hrs to fix an irrigation leak, charging an outrageous labor fee. I decided to do some research and came to know that this should have been no more than a 2 hr job - which makes me suspicious of the plumber now. I expected more skilled and professional plumbers from a company that has been around for a while, not a rookie. I hope the plumber did a decent job so I never have to call them again. read more

I called to get an estimate to fix my shower and kitchen valves since they were not getting hot like the rest of the house. The man that answers didnt give his name but i still scheduled the only time they had for the next day, 11am to 1pm. Next day comes, i get off work and get home at 11am. Two hours later, nobody shows up. Called that the man (still doesnt give his name) says he was sorry and had no idea what happened to the appointment. He offered to come by early before i went to work at 7am the next morning and would call at 630am. Next morning, no call but a man came at 7am and gave me the estimate. We agreed on a price and time the next day, 4-6pm and said they could do 5pm since that is the earliest we could be home. We agreed. Get home at 5pm as agreed, no call nor nobody showed up. I called twice to reach and got a voicemail and never got a call back. I am very disappointed that this place has no customer service nor any respect of time or my business. The owner sent out a knowledgeable, polite representative who was even early (same day service). He did everything he could but the problem was not something he could solve on the water heater as a small ooze of water had rusted the parts together. They were ready to replace the water heater but I decided to go with someone on the manufacturer's list. These dudes are AWESOME!! We've had them at our house 3 times (must mean we like them). First time was because I put in for a quote on Thumbtack for replacing the Pressure Vacuum Breaker on the front of our house. THEY WERE THE ONLY PLUMBER TO ACTUALLY SHOW UP TO THE HOUSE OUT OF 5 PLUMBERS! The of course got the job! A couple of months later we did some renos at our house and thought that installing a toilet would be cake, and we were wrong. Got one in, but the other one had a rusted out flange, which we quickly realized that we did not know how to fix and neither did anybody at Home Depot. ASAP Plumbing to the rescue! It's so shocking how quickly they show up when you call! It's like they want your business, and being a business owner myself I know exactly how important clients are! They came over, replaced the flange, and were even going to put the new toilet on that we had already purchased, but low and behold the dang thing didn't fit. Even though he had put the whole toilet together and tried to install it, he didn't charge us a thing when it didn't fit. He totally didn't have to do that! The last time we had them over we had an emergency! The water main coming into our house from the street had sprung a leak! The yard had started to spout water puddles near the house so they came right out and the next day they replaced the whole underground line without having to dig up the entire yard. Talk about impressed! I was so afraid they were going to have to dig up the whole nicely landscaped front yard, but instead, just dug out a little at both ends of the pipe and had this cool tunneling device that followed along the length of the old pipe underground! How cool is that! They even said the new pex pipe is guaranteed for 50 years! They even had a landscaper along to make everything beautiful when they were done. How awesome is that! You couldn't even tell they had been there! Now let me ask you, how much do you think something like that would cost? I thought it was going to be a fortune! Was I glad when the final bill was under $950! Amazing. We will be using ASAP for all our plumbing and my real estate business and my clients! I guarantee! read more

We had a clogged drain. I paid a craigslist handyman $80 to come fix it and they were unable to repair. ASAP had it fixed within 15 minutes, and they were available on Sunday. They arrived right when they said they would and were very professional. Would recommend. read more

We came back from a trip only to discover our hot water heater had decided to call it quits. Who can blame it? 8 long years in a Phoenix garage - I'd call it quits, too. We found ASAP on Yelp after our normal go-to company told us they didn't have time for us and could send a tech "tomorrow." Tomorrow? For a long time customer? Methinks not. Jason and ASAP were out to the house, well, ASAP (under 3 hours from the time we called) and had a new 50 gallon heater installed a few hours after that. The price came in where we expected (no, not cheap) for a Rheem water heater. So I give these folks 5 stars and will definitely be a return customer if and when the time comes for additional plumbing work. read more
