This review is long overdue. It's been 4 and a half years since I got the keloid surgery on my…read morejawline here. Biggest mistake of my life coming to this practice . Lauren balbas was my usual P.A that I saw regularly and she's okay . Sorta cares , sorta doesn't . First time I asked her what I should do about the keloid on my jawline .She said I should just do steroid shots in my keloid making it shrink in size instead of cutting it off via surgery .There's a high chance of the keloid just coming back twice the size she told me if I cut it off . I agree and don't do the surgery . Silly me . I come back a year later and ask her the same thing . She says I should just do the shots . I agree to do the excision of the keloid because there's still a chance it could go away , right ? and she has to ask Edward Kramer to get approval . Edward Kramer walks into the room . Keep in mind he has two students doing a shadow day with him today . One guy and one woman who's name was Julie Kramer , who I believe is related to him . He takes a look at my keloid and pretty much agrees to do the surgery . He doesn't try to convince me to just do the steroids shots which is the best thing to do I have learned only afterwards . Seems like his judgment this day cost me a lifetime of insecurity and ugliness . Either he has no idea what he's doing or he wanted his shadow day students to just "see" something happen this day so they can get some real life experience . Oh boy was that a bad decision . I feel like him being the head dermatologist of this practice that he should have convinced me more not to do the surgery that day . He has way more knowledge than me about the pros/cons of the surgery . Below are some pictures of before , during, and after the surgery . What's even more wild is I came back here after the surgery to just do steroid shots on something they started !!! The steroid shots made the keloid smaller. This time Edward Kramer was in charge of seeing me when I would come back monthly for these steroid shots . He made my keloid on my jawline way more deeper than it should with the steroid shots . Now if you look at my jawline on both sides of my face , you can tell one side is deeper than the other . Ridiculous ! This man has no idea how to treat patients . It's funny he was super nice to me everytime I came for the keloid shots like he knew he might have caused all of this . Don't bother seeing Edward Kramer . He's a terrible dermatologist .

Rebekah is truly extraordinary, and I couldn't be happier with my results!…read more I tried Botox for the first time at a different place earlier this year, and unfortunately, the results left my forehead uneven and made me feel self-conscious. I have a permanent bump on my forehead from an accident when I was younger, and Rebekah took the time to really understand my facial muscles and determine the technique that would work best for me. I swear she's a wizard. She restored the symmetry, smoothed my wrinkles, and made me feel like myself again. Everyone there was so kind, the office is clean and welcoming, and you can tell from the moment you walk in that you're going to receive a top-notch experience. Next up: a chemical peel!

I had came here to get Botox but left with the Dysport treatment. They are very skilled and knowledgeable and explained the differences from unit, pre and post care and what to expect. I love my result - definitely feeling natural and refreshed.

After putting a couple skin cancer biopsies off for a while (which, nobody should ever, ever…read moredo!!!!) I finally had the pleasure of my primary referring me to Dr heller (there is a Misha M. Heller, M.D and Alan W. Heller, M.D . It is a father and daughter team) Not only do they have amazing credentials!!But, they also have amazing bedside manner. I had the pleasure of seeing Dr misha since I felt more comfortable with a woman checking my body for places / moles that didn't look right and etc. (the one most at risk was on my ankle though) When I first made the call, we all know how long it's taking to get into places. I only had to wait about 3 weeks for an appointment? And most of that was my fault since I had an already scheduled surgery for something unrelated. Even when I called to make the appointment the woman answered the phone immediately, was helpful with answering all my questions and etc. she was such a delight! Unlike some places that act like you are bothering them by asking questions. It's in the same building as the quest labs I always frequent (over in the parking lot of the old community hospital by the traffic circle) It does have free private parking. But it does only have about 5 up close spots. And I think 3 - 4 of those are handicap. For the other parking you have to park in the little parking garage which still is not a very far walk (and free) When I first walked in I was immediately greeted by the women behind the desk. The place was all decked out in Christmas decorations, it was so cute. And yes, I showed up in my pajamas and explained how I just had surgery. So the woman helped me with signing in and asked if I needed a bottle of water or anything. Which I think it's safe to say everyone went above and beyond (They also had bowls of candy, which were all out, but they had a huge bowl of samples such as moisturizer and SPF) They also offer cosmetic dermatology such as filler and all the way up to liposuction and other plastic surgery. Which I can't comment on since this is just strictly for the biopsy I believe the nurse who helped me the most name was jasmine? (I know it started with a J) . Jasmine and Dr misha did an amazing job at calming me down. They even brought me blankets, an ice pack to put on my head and neck and kept trying to distract me. The level of care was 1000000000000 Thank you so much for a great experience. To those who are going through something as scary as needing a skin cancer biopsy, I hope you see this and see Dr misha. Sending warm wishes, good health and good luck to everyone who comes here

Dr. Sung is a wonderful person and a highly skilled dermatologist. I recommend him to friends and…read morefamily and they all say the same-great Doctor. His office is convenient and he's never hurried or makes patients wait.

After being a long term patient of this office (greater than 20 years), this week, I wound up…read morehaving to tell Dr. Sung I would no longer be his patient going forward. For the past 2 years, with only 24 hours notice, the office staff rescheduled my appointment 20 minutes earlier than what I had scheduled it for. When this occurred last year, I thought I made a mistake and canceled a work meeting in El Segundo, so that I could make it on time. This isn't a good look at work, and that event stuck with me. When it happened again this year, I knew I didn't make a mistake, and that's where things got weird. I responded to my appointment reminder call by firmly, but politely, stating that I would maintain my 3pm arrival time. The woman who took my call was unprofessional and condescending but eventually told me she would ask the doctor if I could "arrive late" to fill out my paperwork. When she came back on and told me it was ok, I said "goodbye" and hung up in her face--responding with the attitude she gave me. After my appointment was over, I had a calm converstation with Dr. Sung where he first hedged his explanation until I put together that this was his intention, and then he started saying how he does this so that people aren't late getting to the exam rooms. I told Dr. Sung how this affected my job. I told him that the problem was the lack of notice (24 hours is insufficient for me to reschedule a meeting I had ending at 2pm). He, however, stuck to his guns and informed me that others had complained, but nobody as significantly as me, but they would continue doing this. In a nutshell, Dr. Sung demands the ability to tell you to turn your schedule over on its head the day before an appointment. This isn't the usual "Can you arrive 5 minutes early?" It isn't an ask of "this is your first appointment and there's a lot of intake paperwork." It is "We don't care about your schedule and will demand you to be there a full 20 minutes earlier than you agreed to so you can update this paperwork we should have told you about when you scheduled the appointment 6 months ago." I've left his practice. His office needs to understand what is meant by scheduling an appointment. A lot of people have flexible schedules that can deal with this issue--I, however, work in a corporate job.
