Beer cheese smash burger with truffle fries

Came for lunch today. Very solid 4 stars. Now that is based on food. For family fun probably 5 stars. Lots of outdoor games for kids and adults to do. Also indoor pickleball courts. I had the beer cheese smash burger. It was pretty tasty. My boys loved their chicken fingers. Will definitely be back when the lovely fall crisp air is here to stay

Ashland Brewing Company is a great stop in between Lincoln & Omaha for drinks & appetizers!!! we enjoyed trying a variety of their beers plus their special charcuterie board & trash can nachos!!!!

We stopped into Ashland Brewing Co after a bike race and I quite enjoyed their beer and food. One thing I found disappointing was that their full tap list and food menu wasn't available at their outside seating, which I couldn't quite understand. That being said, our wait was much shorter than the quoted time and I had really enjoyed my Mac and cheese and Brussel sprouts, along with the full beer menu, once inside.

We were a little intimidated by the amount of cars in the parking lot but still plenty of parking and there was no wait so if you feel the same pulling in or passing by still stop in. There was no wait to be seated and food was served in a timely manner. Restaurant is very clean and opened to the outside. Staff very friendly. The food was great we split the hot honey chicken sandwich which was a big piece of chicken the honey was delicious, not spicy hot but still good. The slaw wasn't traditional and served soaking like most other places, very crisp. The pinsas a Roman style pizza was very filling. We got the spicy chicken garlic which to me tasted more buffalo chicken and less garlic to me, also not a bad thing as I love buffalo chicken. But overall great building, great staff, and great food, great prices. I will definitely be back to try some of their beers and drinks and other menu items. Highly recommend and well worth the drive out of the city to check it out!

I will start by saying I have no thoughts on the fun activities they l offer here, Pickleball in particular. It looks fun but I was here for the food and the beer. There is still work to be done on the quality of beer here, nothing bad necessarily, it's just not quite there yet. I withheld doing a review after our first visit here which was just after they opened. Now they have it together. I was a bit surprised to still see a pumpkin beer in early February. The rest of the selections, which you can see in my picture, offer a good variety. You will certainly find something to your liking. So let's get to the food. We each ordered the ABC Smashburger. It comes with fries or, for a dollar extra, another side dish. I had to try the jalapeño rings, which were not too hot. They were just right! They came out hot temperature-wise and fresh with a nice, tasty sauce on the side. As for the Smashburger, it was out of this world! You get two patties, not just one of high-quality beef. Where else? You're in Nebraska! The patties were hot and fresh with a little pink on the inside. The service was outstanding, mostly due to our waitress Nicole. She was absolutely friendly, smiling everywhere, and she had very good suggestions for beer and things like the jalapeño peppers.

Very cool addition to the Ashland area! They have a huge parking lot but the place is always busy when I dribe by. The space is huge, with indoor/outdoor pickleball courts and corn hole boards. Indoor and outdoor seating as well as a second floor patio. We didn't eat, but enjoyed a sampling of their beers, and they were solid. Service was a bit slow at the bar but friendly. Will definitely visit again when I am in the area!

Ashland Brewing was a great place for a Casual meal. While staying in the area we went for dinner and were seated promptly and our server came right over. I got the Blue Cheese Smashburger and it was delicious. The vibe was fun with the pickleball courts outside that can be reserved. Fun place for burgers and drinks!

Very cool and trendy place. Had the pickle beer and pineapple beer, both were favorites.

Great atmosphere for outdoor seating in a nice day. Plenty of outdoor games to pay also pickle ball inside and out. Ordered some apps which were good bits lightly over priced in my opinion. Service at bar was slow. Nobody to bus tables.

They are close, this place could be awesome..but they have a long way to go. Food is average, service is average. Venue is awesome. Get a manager that knows the business. That's passionate. Yah it sucks to pay that salary but they would be rewarded 10 fold. Good luck !!

What my drink probably should've looked like being a bartender in many years I know

A few things about this venue it's a pretty cool place and very neat concept but the way they have their entry and hostess station was done completely wrong. It's not welcoming. It's very clustered and they should've reconsidered how they set that up and maybe they still can second of all the food is just mid. There's no consistency. The food is not hot. I've ordered the same thing several times and it is completely different. The cocktails are way overpriced. I get it's a large skill venue, but you're gonna need to correct these changes if you want people to come back? The beer was great so if your beer drinker, it's perfect for you. I think the Pickleball is overpriced for the outdoor location when it's dead and nobody's playing it also, when you have items on the menu and there's the ingredients and you keep forgetting to put the ingredients on items. It's just very unprofessional and looks bad on the Training. especially when you have one cocktail on your menu with egg white foam and you get it with nothing and watched her make it. Also, the trashcan nachos need to go. It's not too hard to make really good nachos and I have to say with these suck layer it with cheese and all the ingredients. The presentation was cool, but it didn't work because they flopped I will say we had a burger and the burger was good. That's about it.

I am I love with this new Brewery! The place is gorgeous and has two big pickleball courts out front, lots of tvs to watch games, and the open windows so you can see the brewery from the dining room! Wait staff were quick and knowledgeable about the beer menu. I liked my meal okay the buffalo cauliflower was just a little cold but it wasn't super mushy which I have found at a lot of other places. My partner had the peanut butter burger which I didn't get a picture of but I snuck a bit and will for sure get that next time!

Yes, yes--I know it's new. That's actually why we waited a bit before checking it out. And disclaimer: I don't like beer, but I was still really excited for this spot to open because of the massive space and all the amenities. We waited about an hour for food, which we expected given the recent opening. In the meantime, we hung out upstairs at the bar. Unfortunately, they were out of three drinks my husband wanted, which was a letdown. I was happy to see Glacial Till cider available (shoutout to them!), but they had just run out of the sour I wanted to try next. I appreciated that they had a cocktail menu, but it would be great to see it expanded to better serve a broader crowd. When our table was ready, we headed downstairs--important note: the upstairs bar and downstairs restaurant operate separately. Unfortunately, the food was a real disappointment, especially after the long wait. The nachos were dry and bland (we had to ask for ranch just to add flavor), and the burger was politely... nothing special. That said, the place itself is impressive--tons of space, pickleball, bags, Jenga, and more. We checked out the pickleball courts, but $40/hour felt a bit steep. Overall, I want to be fair: it's new, and growing pains are normal. We'll definitely give it another shot down the road. I just hope to see more attention to the food and a more inclusive drink menu next time.

Our server Jeff did seem busy, and was pleasant, but never around. He greeted us and took our order quickly. Then someone else dropped off our entrees (app was supposed to come out first which he clarified with us when we ordered). My order was buffalo wings with a side of buffalo sauce, and the wings came naked with a side. I would have asked for these to be taken back and tossed, but was hungry and ate half of them before we could flag down our server--my husband had finished his entire meal of wings by this time. When we were able to flag him down, I asked for more sauce, and our app. He apologized for this, and brought out the (hot) app very soon after. The wings were ok, and would have been much better if sauced. My husband likes his boneless wings just fine. The cheese curds we got were pretty good--more of a breading than crispy fried texture, but the flavor was great. I would come back and give this place another chance, but in the future will just walk back to a kiosk to find an employee if we have any issues, since we had to wait so long to flag down our server (on our own) for assistance.

The guy waiting on us is very friendly and answered all of our questions in regards to food and drinks. Decent amount of beer on tap, and I love that they had the outdoor patio area outback. We went with the cheese dip and salsa appetizer, but in my opinion, it is a very small portion of cheese dip for the price. He did hook us up with a couple extra sides of salsa (condiment size), but I was not impressed with the price versus portion. Unfortunately, my Philly cheesesteak was a little overcooked which made the meat dry, but I tried my son's wrap and my husband sandwich too. They both tasted phenomenal. Next time I'm gonna have to make sure and try the wings because I kept hearing how awesome they were.

She said they DON'T have control over what the YELP menu from Oscars states. The only way I even found out about Oscars Restaurant was through YELP. My standard pizza order is green olive, black olive and mushroom. Often with a side of buffalo sauce and ranch for dipping. When we order they repeat the correct items to us. But more than three times green peppers have been substituted of the green olives. I mean they are green sure but when green peppers makes one ill, they do not want to be surprised when they bite into a piece of pizza. Tonight I order pizza the same way I always do. But when I got home at 630 pm and took the first bite of my first meal of the day it tasted strange and it contained a new strange texture. Looked under the cheese and veggies to find a solid layer of what I believe is sausage. I do not eat pork and if I would have known pork was going to be included I would have not paid $17 for my pizza nor would I have left the restaurant with this inedible pizza. Good luck with your Oscar's orders. I am disappointed in Oscars . When the pizza is made correctly they do a good green olive, black olive and mushroom. So if I do go back I will have to know peel the toppings off my pizza to check that it is correctly made. I have developed the habit of opening the box to make sure there are no green peppers. It's going to be awkward to stand at the register at the bar peeling that topping.
