I am very pleased with my experience at this Ashley Store. Everyone was so pleasant to talk to, but I want to give a special shout out to Nikko. Not only was he such a joy to talk to, he was also very knowledgeable on every product that we inquired about on the floor. I was in the hunt for a new couch, and what I thought I liked (from ads online) ended up not being my favorite, but Nikko was so willing to show us various models and eventually we found the right one that really reminded me of a super costly couch from a different company that I was eyeing on (as a dream purchase). Nikko was willing to work with us and we truly feel like the value of the couch we purchased was reasonable. We are so lucky to not have to deal with people who resemble aggressive car salesmen. I would highly recommend anyone to come here for furniture needs, as this place is massive and actually has a nice selection of furniture. This was one of the most uncomfortable, unprofessional retail experiences we've had. My fiancé and I came in to browse couches and were greeted at the door by a saleswoman. When we later had a question, we spent several minutes walking the showroom trying to find her and genuinely don't believe she was even on the floor anymore. So we approached another associate who was sitting nearby. He was the only bright spot in this entire experience -- friendly, attentive, and immediately willing to help. He walked us across the store and was in the middle of assisting us when a manager abruptly stepped in and pulled him aside, within earshot, over what was clearly some internal issue. It honestly felt like the original saleswoman saw him helping us and went to report it. Suddenly it turned into this awkward, cringey situation where we felt like we had gotten him in trouble just for asking a question. Completely inappropriate to handle that in front of customers. The manager then stepped in, said maybe one sentence to us, got a phone call, and walked away -- never to return. Moments later, the original saleswoman magically reappeared. Meanwhile, we could hear multiple employees gossiping and talking about each other across the floor. The entire place felt more like a high school than a professional retail store. On our way out, it somehow got even worse -- the manager and the original saleswoman were off talking in one corner, while other employees were gathered and chatting in another, forcing us to awkwardly weave our way through the store just to leave. The only person who acted professionally was the male associate who helped us after we asked -- he did absolutely nothing wrong and deserves better than that environment. Between the disorganization, the visible staff drama, and the lack of basic professionalism, we were so turned off that we left immediately. My husband and I were looking to upgrade our living room set and we are so happy we checked out Ashley in Kingstowne. We love our new sectional! It has USB charging outlets and storage space. We also bought a matching rocking chair and it is SO COMFORTABLE! When reclined it feels like a zero gravity chair. Walked into Ashley furniture today as I wanted to buy a sleeper sofa. Stood around for I don't know how long looking at the sofa waiting for someone to ask me if I needed help. No one even bothered to come by. Finally I left. I guess you don't understand what customer service is and you lost a sale. read more

I bought furniture from their store on Saturday, October 11, and called the next morning (as soon as they opened) to cancel my order. The store refused, saying it was a floor sample and a final sale -- but no one ever told me that at the time of purchase. I later called Ashley Furniture corporate, and they confirmed that the store manager has the authority to cancel the order, yet he refused to do so. It's been a very frustrating experience, and I'm sharing this to warn others to double-check the terms before buying from this store. read more

Would give 0 stars if I could. Avoid this store by all means. Classic shady sales people that will lie to gain your business and then not care about you after the sale. This store committed fraud by signing me up for a credit card without my authorization. They took my money, forgot to order my furniture, promised a 2 weeks delivery (which none of the 11 pieces I ordered were delivered in that time), and then could care less to even follow up with me on delivery, delays, customer service, etc. They provided me with a fake email for the regional manager and won't even take my calls now. Abdul is a liar (sales person) and Jay (manager) is a condescending man who can't even apologize when his store makes a mistake. Avoid like the plague unless you want to be thoroughly annoyed for 3 months of your life. read more

We found a dining set we liked one night, went to dinner to think it over, then went back to Ashley to buy it. Although the sales person was cordial, it took almost 2 hours to complete the transaction. The prices posted don't match the actual prices, because they want you to use store financing and they offer big discounts to do so. But it took ages to get the financing set up, and the guy who needed to finish the paperwork wasn't around so we waited quite a while for him. We were about to fall asleep in the store we were there so long, and meanwhile we were paying overtime for our babysitter since we had intended to get home much sooner. The shipping also took a really long time. The initial estimate was pushed back repeatedly and we had no communication from the store regarding delays. I had to call each time the shipping date passed by to ask what was going on. At the end of the day, we enjoy the dining set that we got, but the hassle of the buying experience means that we won't be returning to this location. read more

There very up ur butt when you first walk in my husband and I didn't even get to walk around the store for more than 3 min without a sales person going up to us multiple times trying to convince us on a couch. They then proceeded to bring us back to the same couch twice. My husband and I aren't very vocal when we don't feel comfortable we give in very easily so it's also on us but I was not in love with the sofa we left with. I walked into the Ashley Home Store in the Manchester area with a specific need: to buy a chair-and-a-half for my son with special needs. As soon as I walked in, a kind sales associate, James Felter, welcomed me and my son who I was pushing in his wheelchair. I explained what I was looking for, and he immediately started showing me through the showroom of the different options. He was attune to my input for what I was looking for specifically for my son's needs. As soon as I saw one that looked like it would be best, I had my son try it out. We did look at a few more options, but I had pretty much decided that was the chair that would fit our needs. The price was very reasonable based on the prior online shopping I had done, and James even made sure to find the lowest sale price available as the in-store sales are allowed to match any online sales that Ashley might offer. I was able to get a better quality chair for less than the Ft Belvoir Exchange option for military rates. I look forward to receiving the chair in the next couple of weeks based on the delivery schedule. If there is anything new to update for this review once we get the chair, I will do that. All of the staff were very welcoming to us. read more

I bought a family room set here to include a warranty, but the couch was broken within three months! It was caved in. We are of normal weight and don't jump or abuse our furniture. I had to make many calls to Ashley to get this repaired and they said it wasn't covered under the warranty and they'd do one repair as a courtesy. It took seven months for the "repair" to take place and the couch wasn't repaired and returned to its caved in state within hours after the technician left. Ashley refused to do any more. Fun fact! Even though the technician didn't repair the furniture he said he refuses to have Ashley furniture in his house. He said it's cheap garbage. Salesmen colluded to manipulate prices. I ordered master bedroom furniture and a living room sofa. Since the master bedroom furniture was backordered, Ashley's purposely underpriced it and up sold the sofa to me since they knew the bedroom furniture would never meet the 12 week deadline and I would have to receive a refund. Therefore I ended up grossly overpaying for just a couch. No one should ever shop at Ashley's especially this location unless you are a lawyer. read more

Furniture delivered on 3/24/23- they damaged our walls in our new home and the sleeper sofa we purchased. It has yet to be repaired and we have yet to be reimbursed. They made us get 3 quotes and now they only want to offer $250 when the quotes were for $800,$,900, and $950. DO NOT- I REPEAT- DO NOT purchase from here or any Ashley. There is no accountability. They are sweet as can be in store but once that purchase is made- they will tell you to call corporate and the corporate team will never respond and will treat you less than human. So the last time I brought furniture at Ashley was in 2019 and everything has held up well, fast forward to 2023 and my wife and I decided to go with Ashley again. We already knew what we wanted but went into the store to put our eyes and hands on an item. I was greeted by Elizabeth who we are forever grateful for. In most cases with someone coming in like me knowing what they want and what price point, the work is mostly done, and for some employees that can make them complacent and not treat you fully as a customer, but not Elizabeth. She catered to my questions and needs that day and I decided to think about it and come back, and she provided me with her cell just in case. Next day myself and my wife texted back and forth with Elizabeth and she put up with ALL of our questions, especially my wife who I call the negotiator enforcer . Elizabeth went above and beyond until the end when I decided to come back to the store to complete the purchase. When making purchases like this the smallest things and customer service goes a long way and makes you want to do business not only with the company but the employee assisting you. Thank you again Elizabeth for your kindness, diligence, and patience throughout this process and also showing care to my son. On 4.23.23, my wife and I had a great experience finding the right couch at the right price with Alex. We visited the store in the morning, realized we needed to reconsider measurements, returned home, continued to ask Alex questions from home as we measured the space again, and then returned later with not much time left to make a decision.
