Shredded wood frame that poked a hole in the back fabric. Wads of fabric not even cut off excess. HORRIBLE cheap azz quality couch.

For some reason I ignored the negative reviews and thought I'd be different - but NOPE! Our salesperson was Alejandro. He was nice enough but unfortunately, the aftermath of the sale is where our nightmare begins. Once you leave the store the associates completely wipe their hands of you and if there are any issues (which there will be trust me) they just tell you to contact customer call center which is mostly AI and chat bots. You have to go through literal HELL to get to a live person who doesn't transfer you all over the place. Anyways, we waited 2 weeks from purchase to pickup our 2-piece sectional couch OURSELVES at the warehouse where we actually bought it and it was in stock. First red flag because why you waiting 2 weeks for customer pickup when it's already there on site? Get it home and start unboxing and the first section is completely smashed and fully collapsed. All the wood frame crushed like a car ran over it. We didn't even open the whole box and immediately called Alejandro who ofc referred us to customer care to start the nightmare. After days of dealing with a chat bot who wanted to send someone out to REPAIR the frame (we were furious because we ordered a new couch not a smashed to hell one to be refurbished) someone randomly called and said they were sending a replacement piece but it'd take 2 more weeks. We didn't even unbox the second section while we waited for the defective piece to be replaced and arrive. Well it arrived 2 weeks later. Delivery guys unboxed both sections and we set the couch up. The section just delivered has a big bulge in the back (a piece of cracked particle board sticking through) and it's poked a hole through the fabric. The other section is completely slanted and sags and does not even match up to the other piece. Have to start another chat bot process. They send their "technician" out 2 days later. He says "oh I don't know why the wood is like that shredded or why this happened but it's not because of poor structure and we're gonna order a new couch COVER and have someone come and disassemble the couch in your living room and sew a new cover on. It'll take them an hour" what in the actual f*ck????? He then proceeded to HAND SEW the hole and call it good! They sent us a fragile azz particle board couch that the wood is shredded and making holes in the back and they're going to take it apart and put a new cover on and not even fix the wood?????? Then the other sagging section he says "oh it's a SLIGHT variance I'm going to recommend a replacement but I can't make any promises it's up to customer care". We still haven't heard anything. So over a month and 3 busted up azz couches later we still don't have a couch we paid for. My next stop is Better Business Bureau because we paid $2,000 for a NEW functional piece of furniture and this company cannot seem to deliver that. Refurbishing an existing defective piece is NOT acceptable!

I was so excited when I got my matches in box Spring.I forgot to mention that being short.You have to adjust.

As you could see the two photos of the before and after. Ashley furniture was nice enough to accommodate me and swap up the box springs. This is a hell of a lot better for me to get up on my bed and get off. I'm slated to have knee surgery and this is a 100 times percent.Better for me to get back on my bed and off my bed without having assistance. Thank you Ashely

----- stop !!! buying ---- from ashleys furniture, ( lathrop california ) rethink before you buy your next furniture here :( if can only give them negative ---- 1 on my review !!! here is why? i had furnished my home and investment homes with ashleys furniture in lathrop, ca ..., in 2022 i bought this sofa, spend $1000 and in the begining stage wood started falling apart :( i thought is was minor so screwed back in place.... moving forward with just normal use.., wood broke and back support broken. i went to speak to management , i was told oh i did not buy warranty.., i was also told by sales mgr that there is nothing they can do even its like a year old ( negative vibe, not considerate attitude form sale mgr ) i was blamed that i did not buy extended warranty :( i would like management and coperate office to know , we as consumers are not here it spend our hard earned money on bs ( management ) & non considerate business practice they are conducting Sofa purchased year: late 2022 | see picture attached ________________________________________________________________________________ MY EXPERIENCE AND VIBE I GOT FORM CUSTOMER SERVICE BEHIND THE COUNTER: UNFRIENDLY + DICTORIAL + DEFENSIVE + NEGATIVE CUSTOMER SERVICE + THEY ARE RUNNING THIS PLACE LIKE WARDEN ________________________________________________________________________________ !!!!!!!!!! My experience was the worst !!! I would not recommend Ashley September 3,2024 I went into the store in person in order the living room dining room and a bedroom set. The delivery date was scheduled for October 1st a couple of weeks prior I received a call to say that a couple of the pieces were on back order and the delivery was moved to November 1st I wanted to cancel the order but Ashley's took it upon they sell the piece together a bedroom set and schedule my delivery sooner to October 8th. It took me a day or two to figure it out but I knew something was kind of off about this bedroom set but once I figured it out I reached out to Ashley's they told me that there was nothing that they can do I cannot get a refund but I can exchange the furniture here I said Weeks later living out of a suitcase in a brand new apartment with a bedroom set I don't even want I will not ever do business with this company ever again Here it is a day before my birthday at 4:00 in the morning I'm sitting here in tears while Ashley sleep

We got greeted immediately, and then the manager introduced us to Bella, Bella was very good with her knowledge of the different couches, didn't pressure us and was extremely patient too. She did a great job helping us out and we wanted to be sure to give her a shoutout on here. You pretty much can build any couch you want for the most part, pick your type & color of fabric to go with it too. We ended up picking something out that night, and getting it ordered. They gave us a quoted date, and ended up beating that date by about a week to get us our product earlier than expected. The delivery team was fast and easy for us. Furniture places can be hit or miss when I read the reviews, but our experience with this location went well.

My wife and I just had the most dissatisfying experience in our lives today, we recently purchased our second family room set from your Manteca store and we have purchase family room sets from you in the past. Being from the service business for 35 years, I was in disbelief of the way your company is taking care of it's repeat customers. You know what's unusual is, that you can't contact any managers from the store directly, the managers can treat you bad, because the public has no way to contact them and hold them accountable! You might want to change that! I ordered a rug off your website and what we received wasn't even close to what was shown on your website! The colors suppose to be cooper and we were delivered a red rug. We drove three hours to return the rug to your Manteca store, thinking since we just purchase our second family room set from Living Spaces there, your folks would take great care of us and exchange the rug, by the way, the rug was never even removed from the wrapper. My wife and I went to exchange the rug for something the correct color. That's when we had the unfortunate pleasure of meeting Tiffany, I don't even know if that's her real name. She said, you are passed the 7 day return policy. We never signed anything agreeing to a 7 at return policy and it's been less than 30 days since we were delivered the carpet. She was extremely unhelpful, rigged and condescending. We asked for the store manager. She said she was a supervisor, I then asked if I could get the name of the store manager. She said she didn't need to give me his or her name to me. I'm sure there is video of the exchange. It got heated, because I was upset. I told her I was going to give her and the store terrible review that would cost you business and I serious about this, because of how we were treated. We felt like we were being treat as thieves. Like we were trying to take advantage of your company after just spending $5000.00 on a couch! I am looking for some help and satisfaction to this unpleasant experience, It ridiculous that I have to spend my Memorial Day typing a letter to you. Thank you for your attention to the matter?
