Greatest scammers in the modern corporate era!! Horrible Customer service. Ordered a Kimonte Dining Table. They did not have in stock in store, but showed me the color the table would be using another set. Ordered the table I wanted and didn't open the box immediately when it arrived because it required assembly. Opened the box over the weekend to put it together and the color was not Dark Brown as I had purchased, but black. After 12 phone calls and 3 e-mails I was informed that because I did not report the problem within 72 hours I could not return the product, even though what was deliver was wrong and damaged. 72 hours!!! Really?! Every other corporate store gives you AT LEAST 30 days. Avoid these crooks at all costs!! For the money they are charging, you can do much better elsewhere, especially in terms of Customer Service. read more

Hands down the worst experience of my life. My furniture was ordered in the first week of November and to date it has not been delivered even though I was told it would definitely be ready in December. Yesterday I called and they said they are still only waiting for some bed drawers but would go ahead and deliver what's available next week. I received a voicemail today saying that they will again delay the delivery until March(4 months!!!). They said now they don't do partial delivery. DO NOT believe anyone at this store or at any Ashley furniture store as their only job is trying to sell you items they don't have. I'm now a 1/3 of the way through my lease sleeping on an overpriced mattress on the floor. UPDATE: just received another call stating they may not have it ready for me until April(5 months)! Severely Dissatisfied Our difficulties with Ashley are yet to be resolved. Furniture arrived damaged. Ashley insisted on using the extended warranty they sold us instead of just processing an exchange. Took about a month for a serviceman to come to the house. He attempted to repair the damage with a hammer . .. no seriously . . . he beat on the thing and caused further damage. Serviceman agreed to process an exchange. A month later Ashley denied that the serviceman had ever been out and rescheduled another service call. Same guy came out and again assured us he would process an exchange. Pretended to do it on his phone right in front of my face. He was actually submitting that the problem was "customer caused". Endless calls to Ashley yielded no further assistance. I had a terrible experience. I find Ashley, in general, hard to deal with. Their coupons/deals make no sense and they'll give you a reason you can't use them because they've given you a better deal that the coupons were worth. Mathematically it did not make sense. I had to return (cancel) an order before it was delivered and it was a painful experience. I'm not thrilled with the staff at this Ashley. read more

Went to purchase a carpet but before that I was just browsing. Faith or whatever her name is the only woman working on the floor with long hair today on 12/15/2020. Well, she did say if we needed anything to ask so after waiting a good 20 minutes until she finished helping someone else I told her I wanted a carpet and she said okay. We followed her thinking she was going to walk to the carpet area but instead she walked away from us so we stood by waiting to see if she needed to finish something, so we looked at some plates that were ready for purchase and still she said nothing then we waited by the carpets for a few more minutes and she never came. And if she said it is not true the cameras don't lie and I do NOT LIE. Okay we walked around and we were waiting some more. I then realized that a bed I wanted was on sale with the 40% off going on and wanted to buy it today but Faith decided to help someone else and when she was free she still didn't bother coming to help us. So a carpet a bed and some ready to purchase plates were things I was going to pay for but was never helped. That is a sale they just lost and a customer. I have been here and bought a living room set, a dining set recently and small couch and was going to buy a bed but Faith has poor customer service and I feel that it was so disrespectful and unprofessional to leave us feeling stupid and waiting. The store and the salespeople are very nice...but NONE of this matters if they cannot deliver. From the initial sale to 24 hrs ago, we were told everything that was ordered will be delivering tomorrow. Today, I learned that it 'may' deliver next week. My elderly mother is moving out of her house to an assisted living facility and she needed a few items including a new (smaller) bed. Throughout the sales process I stressed the importance of having this deliver the day of or day before her move, and I was always reassured that it would deliver when we wanted. This was supposed to be one less stress during a very stressful move. It's now turned into our greatest stress...after all, mom can't sleep on the floor. Thanks to Ashley, I now have to scramble and find a mattress that can deliver the next day. Ashely has lost my families business. Visited few months ago, loved Barstools, asked Sales girl IF we can take one to see how it would look with other Furniture, hight(W) etc. She asked Manager: Take it in AM but must bring it back after few hrs. later. We agreed. Also willing to pay Security Deposit via Cash/Check/CreditCard etc. we Wanted 10 Barstools for our kitchen counter area. We asked IF we can comeback next week to get the test-Barstool, and Ashley agreed. Week later: I called to make sure, Manager told me to come certain week/day at 11am, and must bring it back in few hrs. - I agreed. Went to the Yorba Linda Store @ 11am. Manager said: I can't give you now, come back @ 5pm. and return @ 8pm. - I agreed again. Came back again (4th trip), 5pm, Manager asked my Driver Lic. to HOLD and take the Barstool, I told him, IF I give U my CDL, than HOW can I drive? Its illegal to drive? He asked another person on what to do? That person in the office REFUSED 100% not to give any Barstool! ( I offered cash/card/check to hold instead of CDL, make copies of CDL etc. but Manager REFUSED). I was very upset, as ASHLEY absolutely don't care of Customers, no wonder, they are loosing so much business & will continue... they lost my business big time. I was going to buy 10 Barstools, was the reason I went ASHLEY 4 times. Playing games with Customers. I was going to buy one if they have free return, instead U have to drop it off to their Wearhouse in Ontario/Riverside area, IF U don't like the product(terrible refund policy). Originally I had given this store five stars, but now after months of waiting for my couch and ottoman with no end in sight, I'm SICK OF IT! I will never purchase anything from any Ashley home store ever again. They do not answer their phones, they do not call you back after you leave voicemails, and after they have taken your money they just ignore you and NEVER SEND THE ITEMS YOU PURCHASED. I have reported them to the better business bureau because what they are doing is completely illegal. My parents bought a recliner chair for my dad (who is 80 years old). They also purchased an extended warranty on it. It broke in April. When he sits on it he is sitting at an angle, which is not good for his bad back or neck. They have been trying to call now for over a month to have someone come out and repair it and no one will even call them back. In April when shut down this was understandable. But not now. The manager's explanation for why I couldn't return mattress protectors I paid for was because the free foundation I was given, was used to "hide money" to give the foundation(?) So if I wanted to return the protectors I DIDN'T need, I'd need to pay for the foundation I was offered for free (after purchasing 3 Purple mattresses!) and for the delivery that had already occurred. In what universe does this makes sense?! Ashley deals can sound good, but if you change your mind about anything, good luck on getting any kind of assistance, and the convoluted deals don't really save you anything. read more

I ordered a dining room table on display in early November. I was told it would ship to the warehouse by the end of December. I was ok with that so I made the purchase. Of course, it got extended to Feb, then, March, then May, and now June!? They have terrible service, can't get a hold of someone unless you're willing to wait on the line for over an hour. I've yet to receive a call from anyone at Ashley's to provide an update on my order. I bought my furniture there was promised a delivery even brought in my own truck then when time came they didn't even help me put in the truck instead they shut the door in my face I was by myself having to put my couch in the car and when I knocked on the door they wouldn't open. As a result of the managers actions Ive been hit with a back pain that I cannot recover from after multiple injection's. The manager was the worst person ever. Don't know his name but he is tall, Hispanic with green/blue eyes if he works there anymore. He does not understand customer service. All they care about is the sale nothing else. So my wife and I came here to buy a couch and everything seemed to go fine. We were helped by Robert Contreras - when filling out paperwork he had our number wrong which I corrected and he said it would be corrected on the documents (my wife's cell phone number was wrong and mine was correct) So I get a text saying delivery Sunday 3/4 - I confirm yes then I get a confirmation saying thank you. So comes furniture delivery day and the window was 3p-7p and we get a phone call around 4pm stating to pick our delivery date since we never confirmed. The lady blamed "us" for the issue then we spoke to a manager and he said it was a routing error? I could not believe the terrible service at this store. My wife and I will never come back to Ashley furniture - when our couch gets delivered (manage was supposed to call us back about a window Tuesday but that never happened) you better believe we aren't signing anything until we make sure there are no scratches or anything on it. read more

This place has the worse customer service avoid Rishi and his managers they will run your credit and open multiple accounts under your name and sit there and lie to your face that accounts aren't open then you get home and you get notification that you have new accounts on your credit file open. Ask for Manny, he's amazing and super friendly! He helped me find a bed. I had my mind set on a tempurpedic breeze mattress but I wasn't so sure of what firmness I wanted. With covid going on they're still open and operating. He let me test the mattresses and laid these disposable linens on top. He reassured that everything gets disinfected every night when they close. He helped me get credit so I'm able to pay monthly for the mattress thank you Really appreciate his service and his help Definitely returning for more furniture ! read more

DONT COME TO THIS STORE !!! Went in store to purchase a mattress protector. The lady the helped me her name is maria she was helpful showed me a gray protector which i was looking for and i thought thats what i had ordered but instead when the shipment arrived it was white which of course i was disappointed. I went back to the store see if im a able to return the item that was mis-shipped. The lady at the desk called the manager named Omar saying that the protector sheets are final sale and unable to return even if i just gotten them that same day. I wasn't even aware that the item would be final sale then again they had the item on display saying it was discontinued selling the item so, they are falsely advertising. Omar did absolutely nothing to help out. As a manager I would assume you would try to help out cause one you had it in display and you employee wasn't even aware of selling the product. Yelp, if you do decide to buy furniture from this chain, remember this post. I spent nearly 10k at this Ashley's because I really liked the furniture that they were selling. After, I made the decisions to which pieces of furniture I wanted to buy, the salesperson asked me if I wanted added "protection" for them. I wasn't to sure about it. But, I was promised that if anything, and I mean anything, happens to my furniture it will be covered with just a simple phone call. It sounded really good and of course I fell for it. The "protection" plan added wasn't cheap and it covered my furniture for 5 years. I figured for that high price I would be in good hands with the third-party company, GBS. Two years after my purchase I noticed deep noticable scratches on the leather living room set. I'm not to sure as to what caused the damages, but I summed it up to me having children playing on the couches with toys. I remembered what the salesperson told me the day I bought the couches. So, I called and made a claim with GBS. Sent pictures of damages. Easy. After not hearing from GBS for over a week I decided to give them a call. After giving the representative my info she told me the bad news. The claims adjuster denied my claim to get the couches repaired. Why? Because, the deep scratches on the couches were not deep enough to see the cushions pertruding through cushion covers. Basically, if the scratches aren't torn through the cushion cover, I'm not warranted. Total BS! Do NOT let the salesperson lie to you about this added expensive "protection". If they continue to push or guilt trip you into buying it. Challenge them with what you read here on Yelp. Also, if you look them up on the better business bureau website there are hundreds of negative post about them too. Good luck. I hope this helps. read more

THERE IS A REASON WHY THIS PLACE HAS LOW RATING. WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. SAVE YOURSELF AWAY FROM HERE. Just like others, my wife and I really liked the furnitures they had so we purchased a whole 14 piece living room set. Everything seemed great until the date of the delivery. We have spent a long time deciding on which date to get the products delivered because we both have work and we're not home often. So we extremely carefully chose the specific date that they told me its AVAILABLE. When the delivery guys came, they told me they have all the other accessories but not the sofa. SOFA WAS THE MAIN PRODUCT WE PURCHASED. They told me this on the day of delivery, and we had to cancel our plane tickets that was due the next day. They told me I'd have to wait another three days for the sofa to come. Imagine this. You clean your apartment, move stuff around, leave an empty place to set all your furnitures that were supposed to be delivered that day. Then they tell you the biggest, and the main furniture will be coming in three days instead. Then you now have to leave the space empty for another three days and have to cancel your other schedules one more time to be at home. Especially when they never tell you what time they'll be coming. (They'll text you like a day or two before delivery saying they'll come in between 8:00AM to 2:00PM, so you need to be at home for the whole six hours since you don't know when they're coming). After this incident happened, we contacted our salesman Fero. Trust me, if you're going to shop here, they'll be nice to you until you finish signing up. I didn't get a single apology or even a simple "Sorry" for the incident that happened to me. He kept saying he will contact me back because he is busy but I was the one who continuously had to contact him because he just kept ignoring me. I also called the store itself to get in contact with the manager, but THEY WILL NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE EVER. I tried calling them for hours and I decided I'm wasting my time too much. Because of this reason, *** DO NOT GET INSURANCE HERE *** They will tell you they will do everything to fix everything for you guys but they will never answer their phones so there's no way you can utilize the insurance you'll be paying for. In short: 1. They did not deliver my main sofa on the date they promised and told me that they don't have it ON THE DAY OF THE DELIVERY. 2. We had to wait another extra THREE DAYS for our product to come. 3. They will NOT, EVER apologize for anything. 4. They WILL ignore your texts and calls as soon as you have purchased your items. 5. Went into this store today and was greeted by a salesman whose said his name was Kevin "from heaven." We really needed a new couch. As we walked around Kevin continued to stalk us and stare at us uncomfortably. We could not lose this guy. Every corner we turned, he was there staring at us. It made it hard to focus on looking for a couch. I asked him nicely to please stop following us because it was giving me anxiety and making me feel uncomfortable. He responded angrily by saying it was his job to "attach himself" to customers. I asked to speak to a manager and he turned around and ignored us. So we walked out and left. Absolutely horrid experience!!! I purchased a top of the line leather couch, chair and ottoman. I also purchased the protection plan. The couch broke so we called and had a tech out to fix it. After two different techs came out, they finally agreed that the frame was broken and unfixable and would give us a credit. Well, they no longer make the couch and they don't have any other couch with the same dark brown leather fabric. OK, they said they would give us a credit for the value of the broken couch, but they lied. The credit was actually issued but they put an expiration date of 11/14 so we ordered 4 items on line on 11/12, but they refused to allow us to use the credit on line and would not extend the credit. It looks like small claims court is our next step. I would not recommend this store to my worst enemy. Sorry for the folks that have to work there. read more

Fred was awesome! Super helpful and great guy!! However, we purchased couches 2 months ago and when they were trying to deliver they were bringing 1 out of 2 of our couches. Come to find out after many phone calls that our couches are discontinued. However they're still selling them at the store right now and have 31 orders in at the moment according to a sales man. Makes no sense and seems very fraudulent to be selling something and charging people for inventory they don't have. If I would've known this was happening we wouldn't have gotten rid of our old couches when we thought we receiving new ones. Worst furniture shopping experience. read more
