I was warned by someone who use to work in Ashley that the furniture (aside from items like tables, bed frames etc...) fall apart. Unfortunately I already had couches on order. After a few months the cushions looked horrible! Because we were doing a lot of projects to the house we decided to finance through them. We haven't even paid them off. They have a one year manufacture's warranty and will be sending someone out next week to assess it! I have little faith that they will be able to completely make this right. Just had a wonderful experience with a sales associate named Crystal Cannon. I came in looking for some ideas on what my boyfriend and I were interested in for our living room. She gave me great feedback on my ideas and helped me choose two Amazing pieces that him and I will be returning to look at. They did suggest applying for financing and everything while there looking. When I said I wanted to come back and look at it again they didn't pressure me at all further on any other of the finance plans that they had and gave me the space I needed to think about what I wanted to do. Avoid this store and Ashley Furniture in general at all costs. I purchased a bedroom set with my wife in December of 2014. The sales staff was initially quite helpful and the price was good, so I added in the full warranty they offered and I placed an order knowing it would be a few weeks for delivery. The day came and the delivery men brought the furniture into the house. I immediately noticed a large gash on the chest (dresser). The delivery staff set everything up as needed but when they concluded I pointed out the issue with the dresser. The driver used a phone and took pictures of the gash to document the issue and assured me that I would be contacted within 48 hours by customer service. Later that night my wife found a giant crack in the base of the headboard that I had missed by delivery. But hey, it just got delivered and we paid extra for the warranty.. no worries right? 2 weeks later... still no call from customer service. So I visit the store. Of course they try to look up the issue but nothing is found. The CS agent at the store entered the issue and all in the computer and scheduled a date several weeks out. The day for the service arrives and the technician shows up. He's able to patch up the gash in the dresser after awhile and it looked great. Kudos to him. However, he was not able to repair the crack in the headboard. However, he documented the issues and took a great deal of pictures for reference. It was at this time I informed him that I would be moving in March and that we'd need to correct this sooner rather than later. But hey, that's 2 months away... plenty of time right? Fast forward a few more weeks and still no call. I go back into the store too see what is going on. Initial search found nothing, but they they did finally find a ticket. It showed that a new headboard would be delivered to me sometime in April. I again informed them that I would be moving in March and that we'd need to expedite the issue. I was told I'd get a call that afternoon. 2 days later... Still no call. (Seeing a pattern here?) So I headed back into the store and this time spoke directly to the Customer Service manager. I was assured that she would open an emergency ticket to setup delivery for the next day OR they'd arrange to have the headboard sent up to me in Chicago where I was moving too. Sounded acceptable to me. The manager was to let me know the answer by 11am the next morning. 2 days later still no call or email. (Really?!) So I called the store as it was the day before moving day. After talking to the customer services reps who are unable to assist, I was put on the line with the sales manager. Once he understood what the issue was and what was promised so far, he consulted with the store manager. He came back and told me that they'd be unable to help at this point and I would need to take my issue up with the Ashley Furniture in Chicago (where I was moving too.) So of course I repeated this all back in my words, after 3 months of going back and forth they where wiping their hands of me and pawning me off to start the process again with a different branch in a different city. He agreed that was exactly what was being said and apologized for the issue again mentioning this is their policy. Point being... don't buy from these people. The moment they have your money, they could care less about fixing any damage that THEY caused themselves. I'm quite certain had I even given them more time I'd be in the exact same situation as they clearly had no intention of doing any work. I recently ordered two dressers offline and had them delivered. I also bout a couch and love seat from this company a year ago. I can't complain about my products; however, the only issue I have is when ordering offline, it took longer than expected and there weren't many options for chest dressers online. We have bought our couch from here our mattress from here and our bedroom set. So you would think we would like the place. But after our experience last night I don't know if we will be back. We were looking for a chaise lounge. We walked in a looked around and after a while an older lady greeted us and we told her what we were looking for and she acted surprised we asked for her help and said she would be right back. After she came back she spent long time on computer trying to find something and couldn't then showed me a recliner. "It like a chaise when its open." Um no, no its not its a recliner. Called me 2 days prior to delivery. Sent e-mail confirmation as well.Driver called 10 min before delivery. Furniture arrived in perfect condition,driver plugged in couch and tested. I'm very pleased with my experience. I dropped over 1.2k and everything was perfect. My wife and I went in to Ashley in early June. We purchased 20k worth of furniture and were told that it would be delivered mid July. The people there were very friendly during the sales process and that is where the good experience stopped. We started receiving text messages that pushed our order back further and further. If I try to call and speak to someone you can never get ahold of anyone at the store or corporate level. I physically went in to the store to speak with someone and miraculously they were able to arrange some of our furniture to be delivered the next day, and then some the next week. We receive the delivery of our mattress and box spring the following day, but the furniture that is supposed to come the following week never arrives. We finally were able to get ahold of Todd the salesman on his cellphone and ask why there was no delivery or communication. We are told that he will need to talk to Devin the manager who is out because of COVID. I physically go to the store the next day and low and behold Devin is there. They give us another date for a portion of our furniture that is less than a week away and then tell us the remainder will come 8/15. The furniture promised arrives with a damaged dining room table. We get to make another call and complaint to find out when the dining room table will be replaced. They are able to schedule delivery of a new dining room table the next week. They arrive with the wrong legs for the table! We make another call and 2 hours later they fix the table legs. Now we are down to part of our sectional, our bed, a bench, 4 end tables. We are told 8/15 will be the delivery date. My wife received a text saying that delivery will be after 9/11. I am ready to tell Ashley Furniture to come pick up all of there stuff and be done with it! read more

I bought quite a bit of furniture on Veterans Day, and as of Christmas it will still not be here.. allow me to elaborate I was told the furniture wasn't in stock, so I requested delivery when available to be split into 2 shipments.. The first scheduled delivery never happened because the scheduler never actually put the delivery in the system.. I found out about this when I called the day before to determine the time (they won't tell you until 24-48 hours out). I rescheduled, and attempted to have it delivered during the week. After securing a time between 4-6 with the scheduler, (3-6 pm in the system) I got a phone call at work at 2 pm stating that the drivers were at my house. The dispatcher said they will wait until 315, and not a minute more, before they leave. I specifically stated that I would be at work and couldn't take early delivery. on the shipment.. after departing work early and speeding home, they forgot 1 of the pieces (my table) for delivery. Also they showed up with 2 guys to move a 300 pound dresser up the stairs.. my walls paid for the lack of planning. I was told someone would call to reschedule, they didn't. I decided to go into the store and do it myself. They wanted to set up two more deliveries for two items... I requested one since they were a day apart. Critical thinking is not in abundance in the service department. On delivery (attempt 3), there was a 3 inch chip out of the end of the table. The movers tracked mud in the house and were kind enough to leave the door open at every opportunity to maintain a good view of the fresh snowfall and feel the brisk 36 degree weather. It made it easier to return the table. I'd rather quit my job, take a woodworking class, hand saw the trees, and learn to carve a new table with a butter knife and a bottle of jack Daniels than make another purchase from Ashley. read more

First the customer service department it self has some good people working for them I can acknowledge that. Second we were going to only buy a coffee table and end tables but sales person went and asked the manager to talk us into buying an additional TV stand, that he would give us a nice price off of things, well when completing the order he disappeared and not much of a discount was given. Purchased four pieces of furniture, less than 12 hours later my wife finds all the furniture on Amazon (Ashley) same company for almost half the price off each piece. I brought this to the attention of the store, they first stated that they would price match because I stated that I would cancel so they came back thirty minutes later and said they would not price match Amazon so a manager got on the phone mind you again it has been less than twelve hours, and states that he would willing to give me somewhat of a discount, because I didn't need the TV stand any longer he stated that I would have to reimburse them in some way in order to restock that item and adjusting the prices well, I finally said of hearing enough ask if this was a problem then cancel the entire order, they did at a $205 charge for restocking something that they have to restock that ordered on a Sunday and I canceled on a holiday to follow again less than 12 hours later from when I ordered I will sell the furniture that I bought my son as soon as it is paid off. We are never shopping at another Ashley Home Ever! When we pay of out previous order we are canceling our card. I have never been talked to that by a manager of a store where I just spent a large amount of money. I suggest you read everything they had you. The website that contains their policy does not match what they give you to sign at the store. Bad products!, Bad Sales force! Updated : 1/30/18 It has been a three weeks now since the Ashley Furniture Business Manager contacted me Yelp with the same generic message to all complaints. I sent the information asked and have heard nothing from the company. Hi there. Good morning. My husband and I had purchased a full living room , dining room and large area rug for our home back in July. We have received the wrong area rug FOUR yes 4 times. Which means making a delivery date , having to be here at those scheduled times etc..... FOUR times. And the fourth time it is still wrong. I'm actually just in shock. I can't imagine this being acceptable in any type of business. At this point I'm giving up on the fact that Ashley will fix it. They have promised and promised again that it will be "taken care of" Even after the 4th wrong delivery we called and never even received a call back ! The following day she called back after speaking to the repair tech, who recommended we receive a replacement dresser. Ashley is going to replace our defective dresser. Because the issue is in the drawer slides, I do anticipate future problems with the other pieces of furniture, but, ....Ashley is correcting this issue with this dresser in a timely manner, and I thank you. I hope there are no more issues. And I hope they continue rectify the problem if and when the drawer slide issue arises. Thank you, Sharon, for your prompt response. Ashley HomeStore, Shiloh, IL, I would first like to say that it has been very frustrating dealing with this store, customer service, and the GBS warranty that was purchased. I purchased the furniture warranty ($750) hoping that I would be able to use it. I paid upfront for all of our furniture ($6800). After a few months, I contacted the warranty company to have our couch cleaned. Since August, I have had no response from GBS "Premium" protection program. I tried calling, sending emails, and I even submitted a ticket online on their website with pictures. No contact, no scheduling, nothing. I figured I would just cancel the warranty and try to get a "prorated" refund. After speaking to a supervisor at GBS and creating a ticket, he assured me that I would get some letter in the mail, which never came, to sign so I can get refunded. Since I got no letter, after confirming my address multiple times, I tried to contact a supervisor at GBS. I got no email response, or phone call back. Each time I call them, there is no answer, although after about 5-6 times, I get someone in customer service who says that a supervisor will call me back. After 3 months of this, I decided to go to the store. It is my understanding that they are supposed to put in a cancellation on my behalf after trying with GBS per Ashley customer service. I was told last week by the store manager to give them 72 business hours ( it has been 7 business days by now). I waited patiently...After no call or email from the local store, I went back in to speak to the person in charge. She said that she has not gotten a response back yet. So, I told her that I am tired of the run around by GBS, and the store, and just want some sort of resolution, or an answer of whether I can get this warranty refunded. Today, I was told that there is nothing else she can do except to "escalate" again to another department. The store manager was nice enough to deal with me regarding this matter being that it seems to be outside of her control. I called Ashley Furniture customer service by her recommendation, I asked for a supervisor, then I got hung up on. I went back into the store to let her know about this. I contacted customer service again to get a supervisor. I was told that there is no supervisor and one will be available for a call back. I keep getting told that I will get a call back from both Ashley Furniture customer service, and GBS. I have yet to get a call back from any party. I was also told that my ticket was closed 2 days ago for some reason. Ashley Furniture and GBS are very unprofessional with how they conduct their business. With GBS having very poor customer service, I get the feeling that I have been scammed with this GBS warranty. I did my part by trying to use the warranty after paying for it. I have put in a lot of footwork to get something resolved, and to my dismay, I still have nothing to show for it after almost 6 months. If you have a customer purchase a high dollar amount of furniture from your company, you would think that that company would want to get return business or at least a referral for more business. Sadly, I will never do business with Ashley Furniture, or GBS, nor will I recommend anyone buy from them. My family and I are completely unsatisfied customers. If I could rate 0 stars I would. I have never seen such poor customer service. I have made several purchases from Ashley in the past. My insurance policy on my livingroom furniture has expired and I have not used it so about a month ago I decided to use the rebate on a new headboard. Went in, picked it out, sales person talked to manager and had delivery charge reduced since it was just a headboard. I owed about $175, was told I had to come back to pay it because they need to get my insurance refund on a store card or something on a weekday. Fine. Come back and suddenly I havent spent enough. The cashier tells me I have to spend $500 to use the rebate. Im upset, didnt want anything else so I left. last week I notice that the whole bed is on sale for $509. Perfect. Go in order the bed. Refund process has changed and they now have to apply with the corporate office for the refund. Will send application, should hear something in 1-2 days, but the refund is only good for 180 days (news to me) and Im at 185, so they may decline it. Friday get notice that it has been declined because insurance is still in affect. Fine. Call the store ask for refund and information to use insurance policy (as my leather chair is peeling). Get refund and info. Today, get a call that my policy is expired and do I still want to buy the bed. WHAT? I have been jerked around more times than I thought possible trying to buy a bed. Not to mention the lady that called me is the rudest person on the phone. She was rude to another caller when I was in the store and a co-worker, rude to me in the store and on the phone today. When I was in the store and paid for the $450 on my headboard, I asked to speak to the store manager because I didnt want to pay a restocking fee the the claim was denied. Some fake assistant manager came over and said this lady checking me out had more power than him to authorize not charging a restocking fee. Are you kidding me? This has been the worst experience ever! Going to another furniture store tomorrow and spending twice as much, but at least Ill have my bed. Very dissatisfied customer of OFallon Illinois. Ordered furniture last Sept 3 and was told to receive 2nd week of October. They canceled delivery 3 times. Finally received loveseat Dec 2nd then we were told that they will be delivering sofa on Feb and ottoman will be delivering on March 2021. Very stressful for me waking up in the morning looking at my living room just seeing the loveseat. They didn't inform us that they will deliver it in installment basis. I wish they keep their word and won't accept order if they cannot fulfill it. Look Ashley you do not deserve any star at all !!!. read more

The absolute worse customer service I have ever experienced. After being a loyal Ashley customer for 20 plus years, I will NEVER shop here again. Buyer beware. If you have an issue like we did (movers damaged brand new hardwood floors, furniture delivery was rescheduled numerous times, furniture was broken and scratched up), Ashley will not help you. We called, emailed, went into the store numerous times. The store refers you to corporate customer care who never answers you. We finally had to dispute on our credit card bill and Ashley was so bad that they didn't even respond to the credit card company within the 90 day allotted period. I visited this location and got the hard used car sell treatment, which I'm ok with - everyone has to earn a living, but the bedroom set I almost pulled the trigger on in the store was literally half in the Exchange. Long review synopsis: DO NOT PURCHASE FROM ASHLEY HOMESTORE WITH THE EXPECTATION OF DELIVERY My wife purchased a TV stand from the Ashley HomeStore in O'Fallon, IL on Black Friday. From what we experienced the sale staff was great. The greatness of Ashley ended there. Delivery of the TV stand was scheduled to be delivered on 12/10/19 during the afternoon. I took off work so that I could be there for the delivery. 2 hours after the delivery window, no TV stand to be seen. My wife called Ashley to see what the issue was and she was told the TV stand was not in the warehouse so there was no delivery to be made. No phone call in advance to tell us that the delivery would be delayed or anything. Complete silence on Ashley's part. So we scheduled a second delivery for 12/26/19, this time in the morning. Fast forward to then... still no TV stand to be seen during the delivery window as well as no phone call. Wife again calls Ashley and was told that the TV stand was damaged on the truck and will be replaced. Once again no call from Ashley giving us a notification that the delivery is being canceled ind advance of the scheduled delivery. TV stand is now scheduled to be delivered on 1/11/20. We shall see if we are given another BS excuse for a missed delivery or if Ashley will make the delivery as expected 44 days after the initial purchase. If Ashley does not deliver the TV stand on 12/11, we will be getting a refund and taking our business elsewhere. The DMV is a better run shop than Ashley's delivery department. read more

My house is filled with thousands of dollars worth of furniture from your store. November I purchased a dining room set worth over $1400. They kept rescheduling the delivery and finally delivered beginning of December without the damn legs of the table. They were then supposed to exchange and now three rescheduled delivery dates later they still haven't. No one will return my phone call. No one will fix this. I've filed a complaint with BBB. I'm pretty upset! Ordered a Dining Room table, 6 chairs, and a hutch November 9th. We were told that they would be delivered by the 20th of November! Today is the 19 and we haven't heard anything! We called because we do need to take off work and they told us the table would not be delivered until after Thanksgiving, the 29th and the hutch not until the end of January!!!! Stay away from Ashley in Shiloh. This place is ridiculous. I purchased some living room furniture from this store because I was told I could get it delivered by November 6th. I actually told them I wouldn't be ready for it until November 13th so we agreed on that date for delivery. The salesman looked it up and said no problem getting it to me on that date. I called to check on it around the end of October and then I was told it wouldn't be delivered until Dec 18th at the earliest. I told them to forget it and to just cancel my order. I was told ok it would be 5 days to get the refund issued. I called back after a week to check on the refund and was told sorry it wasn't issued yet but they would open up a ticket so the refund would be issued between 24-48 hours. I then followed up after not receiving it within the 48 hours and was then told the refund was issued but it would take 15 days to receive it. Unbelievable. Thats means it will have taken right at a month for them to get my refund of $3,800 to me. Have you ever heard of such a thing? I mean, who does business like that? Obviously, not anyone who wants to stay in business. I know they will never get any of my business again thats for sure. read more

I purchased a table, six chairs, a king bed frame (headboard, foot board and side rails, which at the time of purchase were on back order until mid-January; I was good with that) and mattress set on 11/15/2018. I was told I could have table and chairs and mattress delivered on 11/24. On 11/23 was called by Ashley's Guest Relations Team (GRT) telling me that the table could not be delivered as it was on back order. I told them to just deliver the bed and hold the chairs until the table was available. On 11/24, the mattress and box springs were delivered as well as two chairs. After delivery I noticed that one chair had a shorter leg. On 11/26 I went into the store to find out what happened to my merchandise and ask when I could expect to see the table and chairs, also that I needed them to bring five chairs and take the defective chair, Maria and Nicole took notes and "spoke to a manager" and promised I would be called. And I was a day later and a delivery date for the table and chairs was set for 11/30. I have an email from GRT as well telling me I was getting the table and chairs. On 11/30 a delivery truck brought a table, no chairs and the bed rails. The chairs were not available from manufacturer. Since that time I've spoken (more then a few times) to Tyra at the local store, Andretta at GRT (12/1) and now Sharon in the escalation department and have received totally contradictory statements about when the chairs would be available (the chairs are in STL but can't be delivered until 12/12, the chairs are in Memphis but can be delivered 12/6, the chairs aren't available at all until after 12/25) So now supposedly one department is trying to see how soon they can get the chairs on a delivery truck and another is contacting the manufacturer to see when they might be ready; which took me to the Better Business Bureau. Ashley's escalation dept says "all furniture is sold at manufacture's availability" but I was only told that bed was on back order, why would I buy something that I had no idea when it would be available. Neither the salesperson, Nicole, nor the manager, Brandon, or the customer service clerk, Maria, who checked me out told me this. Ashley Furniture told me and BBB that I would have my chairs on 12/19/2018. On 12/17/2018 the GRT called to say the chairs were on "Manufacturer's Delay", shortly after that call I received an email from Ashley about a delivery window on 12/19/2018. At this point I call Ashley's escalation and leave a voicemail, I try to call the store but the recording only tells me what their hours are; I send an email to the escalation department. I wait for Wednesday to see what will happen (no one returns my call or responds to me email). My calendar notes the date as "Chair Delivery Fantasy", today (December 19) one chair was brought to my house to replace the defective chair (the defective chair that was delivered 11/24/18). One chair only. I call Tyra at Ashley, after nearly 15 minutes on hold I express my frustration, with the process, with the delays, the misinformation. Tyra tells me that she can schedule a delivery of 4 chairs on December 28th. Why am I writing this before I have all my order? To use as a place holder, to warn others, to vent. How do you get the order wrong when the one we order is right in front of them? To top that off they want us to wait another month to get a replacement. Don't ever, ever shop here. They are either dishonest or incompetent. We purchased a bed and mattress from them. The mattress was in stock and the bed wasn't. We were given delivery dates for each, but told the bed might arrive sooner. The "in stock" mattress was scheduled to be delivered on a Friday between 3 and 6pm....9 days after the purchase. Our daughter slept in the floor in the meantime. Bad news--their delivery drivers are unable to read maps. We waited on the day of delivery, only to have the phone ring around 4:45. I got there on the last ring. The driver left a message that a "bunch of roads" were closed (it was ONE intersection in a large town) and he couldn't get to us. I called him back repeatedly (because there are countless other ways to get here that are easy to see on a map....it's not like our neighborhood was locked to the outside world!!) but he never answered and his VM was full. I called the store and they said they'd get ahold of him, but they and their delivery arm couldn't get him either. No one at the store ever called me with updates. I had to check in every 45 minutes or so. I was told they could come as late as 10pm. And so I waited. But the woman at the store finally said she'd schedule us for the next morning. She said they could come as early as 9am and that I could call the store for more details when the opened at 10. We changed our Saturday plans. No one at 9. Called in at 10 only to learn that it would be impossible for them to deliver that day because it was out on a truck the day before and would never have been loaded on the Saturday truck. So no mattress and another day ruined. Oh, and they don't deliver Sunday or Monday. So Tuesday, two weeks after buying an in-stock mattress, it shows up. Fast-forward to now...the date of the bed's arrival approaches. We were given a delivery date 4.5 weeks after purchase. We were told it could come sooner. My daughter (who is autistic and unable to settle into our new home until this bed comes...which made us leery to wait four weeks, but she really wanted it) has been asking for her bed every day. We have a week and a half to go. Today I get a call to set up delivery.....for a date TWO WEEKS AFTER the delivery date they gave us!!!!!! We now have another 3.5 weeks to wait. The store is so sorry, but that's how it is. Are you kidding me?!?!? We made it clear that a four week wait was almost a deal breaker and were told it would maybe be sooner. But it was going to be two weeks later in reality?!?!? Sounds like making the sale mattered more than honesty. My daughter is going to be dysregulated and very upset for another almost month!!!!!! Ordered back on 29th of May. Was told a delivery date of July 8. I never had any calls or information passed so I reached out to customer service on the 17th. They promised delivery by the 21st of July. On the 26th I called again and they said that it is now back ordered and I had to wait until the 3rd of August. I recorded a text from Ashley Furniture to schedule the delivery and confirmed the 3rd as my date. It's the 4th and now it's not here. I woke up and had a text telling me that it was ready to be delivered again! So I called in and it said the 7th, but nope about three hours later I get a call from the store saying there are "corporate" employees calling and making promises to deliver that they don't know about and they are not allowed to promise. So now my "for sure" delivery date is the 10th, but I won't really know until the 48 hour notice that may not come again. I've called almost every number I can find, all the "customer service" people say they are in a call center and can't help, I call the store and it sends me to that same number. I've been hung up on probably 5-7 times and no calls returned when they do hang up. I spent over $2500 there in the last 90 days and can't even get the last of my shipment or anyone to help at all. Even when I do talk to someone they keep saying that all dates are tentative and I just have to wait. That is all they can do. No delivery fee reimbursement, no discounts for 4+ delivery reschedules (with no notification), just a slap on the back and the good old fashioned "screw off" we got your money and don't care anymore. One of the worst customer experiences I have ever had, if you can go ANYWHERE else, this is not worth the time (probably more than 5 hours on hold calling). Move on, shop anywhere else and save the headache. read more

Ashley Furniture was very helpful and professional however too make a payment was hell. The wait for the ladies at the three register's available was about 40 mins. When you have a toddler with you, that wait is entirely too long. I do want to say the people on the floor, Joie and Gary were excellent. Thank you. read more

I was going to wait till I got my furniture but at this rate who knows when that will be! I was in on 3/7/15 and bought a sectional and ottoman, it just over a 1000.00 then they tack on delivery fee which was 119.00 for a total of 1172.00. I left the store not knowing when my stuff was going to be delivered. I got a call 3 days later telling me I had to wait till April 4th to get my furniture delivered, almost a month after I bought it! So now today I get another call and guess what? Oh you guessed it I am not getting everything I paid for one piece is missing. So now I have to wait another week or more for another call saying the got what I paid for even though I was already told everything would be delivered on the 4th. Now they are saying they will call on the 10th of April to set up another delivery date which I am guessing will be sometime in May of 2015! This place sucks! I will never shop there ever again!!!! I will update this post and everyone know just how it took to get three pieces of furniture that were bought and paid for in full 3/7/15. 4/1/15 So an update to this post goes like this: I sent the private message as requested have yet to hear anything back on that. While in class today I did get a voicemail on my phone saying I needed to call a 1-866-787-7930 number, why? To reschedule my delivery! So I call said number and of course it is automated hold forever system, after being on hold for about 10min the call just ends, no it wasn't lost cell signal it was ended like a disconnection, so I call back and it is the same thing, after the third time I said to hell with it and quit calling. Now I have to go out and start shopping around for something comparable to what I paid for and go up to the store and demand my money back. Avoid this place at all cost! Shady business practices, terrible customer service and nothing but the run around game! 4/2/15 Update number two of the worst furniture buying experience of my life. So first an update on the private message they wanted me to send to them to get this matter corrected, well still no word back on that. My wife was finally able to talk someone after multiple calls to the above 1-866 number and it turns out I am not the only one in this situation. According the guy she talked to this piece of missing furniture of mine has been on backorder for months and I have should have been told that at time of sale. He went on to say that it appears to him the sales staff is telling a lot of people just like they did me that everything is in stock and ready for delivery when it's not! So I have been lied to from day one just like I have been saying. Again I strongly encourage anyone reading this AVOID this store at all cost, this company is nothing but headaches!!! read more

Let me start by saying I had all Ashley Furniture at my old place and I loved it. LOVED the product. This is a big case of a salesman can make or break your experience. I found 2 chairs that I was quite found of and the salesman was very prompt in greeting us to "make the sale". ( You can always tell who's out for your wallet or out for your well-being. A little tip for you: In my backround, the reason I was always getting top regional sales rewards when I was in sales was because I didn't sell someone something just because I made more money doing it. I sold them what they needed and wanted and was very thorough on that. Because of that word of mouth they told their friends how much they loved me and I got more clients. Maybe you should try that!) Well my high risk pregnant self was scooting around chairs trying to see how far the chairs went back (even though I'm not suppose to be lifting anything and you knew this is why we were getting the chair while you watched me move it around because all your chairs were clustered together.) And then you LIED to me (although I did call you out on it). You said, "we have the cheapest delivery in town. American charges $60 and Rothman's is $100." And I responded, " No, it's not we just left American." Please insert foot in mouth. By this time I'm so ticked at you, you just lost my business. No worries. I found a great deal for cheaper and more bang for my buck at Rothman's. And their delivery was only like $49 for one item by the way. Stay away from this store! I was a little perturbed that when I bought a piece of furniture it wasn't in the store, nor could I pick it up from the store. I had to travel all the way to South City (40 min one way from the store) to pick it up. Alright got it. I pick up my furniture, get it inside, unpack two pieces, and notice that the front is broken. I call the Ashley Furniture store right away and talk to a lady who tells me I have to drive back to South City to pickup a replacement. What kind of joke is that? One would assume if a customer picks up their furniture and discovers it is damaged, the store would work with the distributor to get a replacement to my house, or at least, to the store which is 5 minutes away. I could probably teach a monkey how to work out the logistics of getting the replacement to the store. read more

Awesome experience! I've had previous bad experiences with purchases a few years ago but the new staff and management was great this time. Ashley's has great designs to choose from and my sales rep Jinky was knowledgable and super friendly. My wife and I were looking for a temperpedic bed and we found what we wanted with the financing set up we needed. read more
