Don't buy anything from here!! Cheaply made products. I had two queen beds frames delivered today. Three young men came to assemble the frames. You can tell they were in a rush throwing things banging stuff on my wood floors leave scratches. They left trash on the floors and a razor blade in the room. Not mentioned none of them wore mask. I had initially started working with a sales person over the phone. I was in the process of moving from Washington to California and got Tia as my sales rep when I called the local store. She called me periodically to check in on my current situation and to see how she could best help me get me the items I needed to transition in smoothly. I finally was able to go into the store and met Tia. She was so sweet and even got her manager to work with me on what would best suit my needs (since I had limited space to work with). She never rushed me and was very patient with all my questions and concerns. I would recommend her and will only be working with her for any future purchases. I purchased a couch through Ashley's Furniture. When I received it, it was beautiful and in tact. However the customer service was a nightmare. I was sent multiple confirmation text messages for the delivery date, and they gave me a window of the times they'll deliver (ex: from 9am-4pm) I called off work since I didn't have an exact time they'd arrive. I waited for hours only for them to send me a message that they would be coming a week later. I was so upset so I left my house where they were delivering my couch to. Half an hour goes by and they show up after all. I had to call my landlords to open the door for them, and they show up with only one out of the two couches I ordered. Apparently they didn't pull the couch from inventory in time before shipping it out. They ended up not leaving anything at all. I understand if there was a delay. But to inconvenience so many people because of lack of communication is so unprofessional and embarrassing. Please be better! read more

Do not buy any outdoor furniture. After 3 years of purchase, all the wicker came apart, which is interestingly not covered on the protection plan that I spent $350 on. You are wasting your money. Invest in a more expensive brand from Costco or other legitimate store. This store carries cheap furniture that doesn't last. So I bought a couch to gift to my parents and it's scheduled to deliver the next day. Just now when I looked up the couch online, I found it $40 cheaper at Target. Not only that but Target provides free shipping. Ashley is charging $150 delivery plus $10 to remove the old couch set. That's a total of $200 difference! According to their return policy, full refund will be credited back to original method of payment. since the couch hasn't been deliver, I called them first thing in the morning to see if I can cancel the order. The customer service lady first said I had to cancel 72 hr prior to delivery, but I pointed out nothing on their return policy states that. Plus, from purchase to cancel, it hasn't even been 24 hr yet. And she was like the delivery guy has already gone to pick up the couch from the warehouse?! Well, I called 10am on the clock when they open for business, and the couch is scheduled to deliver later the day. Then she was able to put me on hold and contacted the delivery guy to stop the delivery process. Well the service definitely plummeted here! My husband and I had great service over a year ago but now they don't seem to care. We purchased a brand new couch for my sister and they set a delivery date for today, 02/26/2021. We received 3 confirmation texts including one for today. And all of a sudden on the day of, Mariana calls to say they can not deliver. When my husband calls to find out what's going on, they provided inconsistent stories. First about how they didn't pull it from inventory in time to be shipped. And then changed the story to it was damaged in some way and they canceled the shipment. Beginning of April rolls around and no updates after many unreturned voicemails, line was ways busy. Finally made it in the store in the beginning of May to get an update, only option due to poor receptionist attitude was to cancel. All I wanted was an update or return call. About 10 daya ago decided to give it another shot and went in order a new couch. Was told it was in stock and would be delivered the next friday. I told me my dissatisfaction from the day the sofas were delivered, I tried contacting customer service and left several of messages, it was not until I told them I was contacting BBB that they called, they sent two inspectors who agreed the sofas needed additional stuffing since they looked flat, Ashley sent stuffing enough for 1 couch not two, upon Contacting BBB Ashley stated that inspector said the sofas were fine and didn't resolve the issue. I was surprised by the Inventory. They had a lot of furniture to look at and sit on and get a real feel for everything. The only problem I had was I felt like Julian Roberts in Pretty Woman. I was walking around and looking for a sofa. All the sales people just walked right past me and didn't bother to ask if I needed any help. I was able to flag down a sales person Ms. Tatiana. She was very sweet and helpful. I told her what i was looking for and she was more than willing to help me. I did find a sofa I like, she ran all the numbers for me and seemed like a good deal. We purchased over $7200.00 worth of furniture and after you pay you are nothing to them! Do not ever buy your furniture here. I'm letting my whole hospital and friends about their service. The furniture was ordered on January 1 and delivery on January 23. We were told and showed a dresser mirror was broken, one dresser they didn't have and one item was wrong. I called customer service and I was told they would redeliver on February 14. As for the wrong item, I was told I had to physical go to the store and talk to them. Apparently once you leave the store, forget ever taking to them. All the number lead you to their customer service corporates and they can't help you. Because of our time schedule we don't have time to go back hence we bought everything in one day, at one store. (My stupid moment) So second delivery comes, the dresser is missing and only the mirror arrives. After literally 45 min on waiting on customer service I was told it's on back order and can deliver it on February 28. I proceeded to tell her about the wrong item, the night stand. Upon inspecting it, I also saw it was damaged. At least this customer rep sounds like she likes her job because she actually tried to help me and didn't give me a get out of my face answer like go to the store. But get this.....they are sending a technician out to check the damage first and then I have to get approval if they can exchange it since it's the wrong item ie missing USB ports. So I tell them in the middle of covid after all this is done 7 people would have come into my house that don't even know how to cover their nose with their mask or even the first one when he took his mask off all together. I guess I stumped her cuz she just kept saying sorry. So the technician is scheduled for March 6. Btw. I sent them a picture of the damage but still a tech has to come and waste his time and tell me if he can fix it or add USB ports. Probably a Mickey Mouse job. You cant return items to the store. I have never left a review for any company on here be it good or bad but this company does not even deserve one star. I've been able to resolve most issues with other companies even though I've had a bad experience. Ashley's Furniture took it to another level of disappointment and frustration. I purchased a sofa in September with the expectation of having the couch delivered 1 month later. I received a phone call saying that it will be delivered on that date during the week so I call a day before to confirm and was told that my couch was backordered, or something at the warehouse happened and that the next delivery date was sometime in November. I expressed my frustration with having to clear my schedule and prep to receive the couch and they offered me a gift card to buy something else from the store and told me the next date was in November. So November comes around I recieve a call to confirm delivery and the same thing happens. I'm pretty patient and understanding of the circumstances that we live in right now. But today was the last straw I called to confirm delivery and was told that there was no delivery date for my order at all. 3 months of waiting and horrible customer service. To even cancel my order was a frustrating experience I spoke to several representatives telling me I had to go to the store to cancel my order (probably to try and sell me something else) and when I tried to contact the store directly nobody answered and kept getting sent to the call center. Only when I told them I didn't know how I would handle the situation if I was to go in did they finally cancel my order over the phone. Also the only confirmation that my order was canceled was given by the representative over the phone. To sum it up horrible business practice and customer service. If I could give Ashleys a 0 star review I would. I have shopped at Ashleys for 15 years and the services I received From the West Covina location was terrible. I purchased a full living room set, dinning room set and buffet table over a month ago. I made the purchase with cash so no financing and I made sure each item I purchased was in stock prior to making the purchase. There was only one item that was not in stock which oddly enough I got in a week. I closed escrow on my home early and requested my furniture and wanted my items shipped sooner than the date I requested. When I called, I was told several of my items were in back order. I asked how long the wait would be and they told me it would be September 25 so I requested to cancel my order (mind you its over $10k cash and not financed) so they placed me on hold so that they could work some things out. They ended up shipping the dining set, buffet, end tables and sofa that week. I was initially happy because they told me the rest of my items would be there on the 10. The 8th rolls around and they call me to tell me the order is on back order and that it wouldn't be in until the 18th. I was trapped now because I could not return the furniture they delivered which was part of a matching set. They intentionally delivered items so that I could not back out. Then on the 16th I get a call stating that my order wouldn't be delivered until October 2nd. They stated my items would be in on the 19th but the earliest delivery date was the 2nd of October. I tried to get it sooner but they had no days available for delivery. This makes no sense since every review I have read said they are on back order on just about everything. I just don't understand how my order was in stock initially and now all of a sudden on back order. They wouldn't admit to selling my items for someone who wanted it sooner. I call on the 23rd to confirm my order would be delivered on the 2nd and you would think I have gotten use to this by now but my items are not in stock but should be in stock on the 25th and 29th of September with a delivery date of the 2nd of October. I am willing to bet, it will be pushed back yet again. This business is a joke and will never again have my business. Of note, I made several purchases from Jeromes and received them within the week. If you want a company who values their customers then you should try them. They will be my go to spot going forward. I'd recommend you do the same. The salesman will all tell you you have up to 72 hours to exchange or return any item if you're not happy, but the management and support staff later on will tell you it's up to corporate to accept returns after you accept Delivery. I asked one of the salesman why they even offer the verbal 72 hour return policy and he said if they didn't people wouldn't shop there. When you call corporate, you're told it's up to the store manager. Very unethical and very unprofessional when it comes to returns. We endured so much back-and-forth. We spent four trips, back-and-forth to their store and a week of calling the store and corporate just to be told they're waiting for the approval from the store or corporate to get back to them. We spent $6000 on a three piece sofa set and only wanted to return one of the small pieces. This is definitely not the end of our efforts. I purchased a mattress they had on sale for $299, I had it delivered because I thought it came like a regular flat mattress, instead it came in a box (I could've saved that money but they never mentioned it would come in a box), The delivery guy said to wait a moment for it to fluff up. 1 hr. later it was still flat. By the end of the night it had expand but it still wasn't the mattress that they had in their showroom. Not sure if they care about bad reviews or good customer service but here it goes. We purchased a dining set and upon arrival the chairs were all wobbly and un leveled. The glass also didn't fit the tables. The delivery guy called dispatch and they said that they could have a technician come out and look at it. That being said I agreed and signed the paperwork because she said they would have a technician come out and fix anything that needed to be fixed. My husband called the store and complained about the glass and chairs being unleveled and the dents on the table and they said too bad your wife signed for it and all we can do is send out a technician. Don't buy any furniture here. The quality is poor. O purchased a dresser in 2021. Had it ever since bi have the protection plan. The middle support leg recently broke and now the dresser sags in the middle. I am being denied because i was told to take photos of all the nicks n scratches so they can be repaired, fixed or replaced. Two different reasons: the first one i was told was denied due to heavy moisture cause the dresser to warp and sag. Mind uou this dresser is inside a home absolutely ignored the broken middle support leg. I called back and was told from all the photos there is accumulation of damages and its not covered. I have had a horrible experience and will never shop here again. First off, my item arrived damaged. When I complained, I was told they would send a technician to repair it. I bought a brand-new item that shouldn't need repairing and shouldn't be damaged. After they "went to bat for me" to get me a replacement item (which is a complete joke to me because OF COURSE they should replace a damaged item), the replacement arrived and was more damaged than the first. I am now three weeks into this process and have had to spend A LOT of my time speaking with Ashley Furniture customer service. It's funny because their return policy states when you return something, it has to be damage free, yet they can deliver you a damaged item and it's supposed to be perfectly acceptable? He checked on us twice - even though he was helping others. He was very informative, helpful, friendly, knowledgeable etc... Walked us through financing and promos. Basically everything you'd look for in a Sales professional when shopping. The entire process was smooth and I highly recommend stopping by and seeing Melvin and his team mates. Went into the store and inquired about getting it fixed, knowing I would have to pay for it. Was given the parts department number. My boyfriend and I had a pleasant experience at Ashley HomeStore. We recently moved out and were in need of furniture. We were initially shopping at IKEA but decided to come here before we make our decision. We were helped by Derek. He showed us the difference sofa sets which included a sofa, love seat, coffee table, 2 end tables, 2 lamps, a rug, and a blanket. There were only a select few of the sets that were on sale for under $1000. Originally we opted for a plush multi tone beige couch but the next day I thought about it and had buyers remorse. The couch that I originally chose seemed a bit too large for our needs and it'd be more difficult to move in the near future. We changed our minds and came back to the store and cancelled our original order. Derek was very patient and no questions helped us replace another order. He allowed us take our time in reselecting all of our furniture pieces again. We opted for a indigo sofa set. We received all of our furniture at the expected delivery times. We made the purchase and realized that the items we just bought at the store were $200 cheaper on-line! It took me a while to get someone to help me make the adjustment. Dave did not return my call. Furniture has TERMITES. When delivered there was wood residue inside the cabinet. Thought, must be residue from when they put it together. Kept noticing the residue and realized It was termites! Ashley's didn't want to do anything about it cuz it was past 72 hrs. After a LONG fight, they approved an even exchange but won't pick up the cabinet and haven't told me when they will pick it up either. Told me could take DAYS. I'm running the risk of the termites spreading! It wasn't my house because I just moved in. Brand new home. So I'm paying for extermination, and a infested cabinet.
