Large store full of beautiful furniture. They have everything from couches to dining tables, side tables, office desks, rugs and much more. I love that they place sets together that seem to go with each other. It really helped me visualize what our living room might look like. When we entered we were greeted by a nice sales rep who gave us the layout of the space and let us look around ourselves. We found a few couches that we really loved, unfortunately they didn't have many couch displays that included storage. Would highly recommend if you're shopping for furniture!

We received a torn couch piece. Called the store..no answer Called the warranty...no answer They actually hang up on you via their AI..you can't hold on the line.

Terrible customer service. They shipped and installed a bed frame with the wrong feet and after a month of calling they are saying the part is backordered and might have to wait another month? Are you kidding me? It would be faster to just re-order the same bed and initiate a return than to wait for two footboard feet. Absolutely ridiculous. Their customer service is nothing but offshore agents with terribly broken English who just repeat the same stuff off their little scripts over and over. Useless. They would get 0 stars if I could.

found my daughter's new bed for her birthday. Our sales representative was very patient with her trying all the mattresses. Thank you for your service.

After 5 minutes in our home, we realized it did not fit! THEY ARE NOT ALLOWING US TO RETURN IT... buyer beware!

THE FOLLOWING REVIEW IS WHAT I HAVE WRITTEN, AND IS OUR EXPERIENCE. MY wife will have me take all these bad reviews down if they just return this stupid chair, AS THEY LISTED ON THE WEBSITE! I have no faith in them, but I would do that if they helped out my wife. AMAZINGLY horrible store! WITHIN FIVE MINUTES OF HAVING A CHAIR , even though it looked small in the massive showroom, WE KNEW IT DID NOT FIT OUR SPACE AND PUT IT BACK IN THE BOX TO RETURN. NOW...After 3 weeks of trying to return this chair, they are still refusing to return it or at least do an even exchange. AND Now, they are sending texts saying another chair is being delivered! A second chair of the same make and model, UGH REALLY! We just want to return this chair and get a chair that fits our space! NOT THE SAME CHAIR AGAIN! OBVIOUSLY, The staff at this store are horribly incompetent. I would not waste my time BUYING ANYTHING HERE. They say on the website that they have a return policy. My wife simply bought a chair. It does not fit our space at all, SO IT WAS PUT BACK IN THE BOX! The website lead us to believe and understood we could exchange it within 3 days. THIS IS NOT THE CASE, THEY DO NOT RETURN THINGS FOR ANY REASON! We just wanted to exchange it for a different chair and we could not. Do not let a salesman talk you into buying ANYTHING at the store. They are all smiles like a shiny penny, but salespeople are horrible misleading. READ THE FINE PRINT, NO RETURNS OR EXCHANGES, EVEN THOUGH THE WEBSITE STATES THAT YOU CAN!!!! 3 DAYS MEANS NOTHING! And, yes, customer service will reach out to you... which is total nonsense because they don't want to help you at all. It's a ploy to ignore you. ALL this to get you to keep a chair even though they say you can return it or exchange it. Honestly go someplace else this place stinks. They have screwed themselves, I have a house to furnish. Im going elsewhere... learn from my costly mistake of buying from ASHLEY FURNITURE in Covina!

Thread started to unravel making a hole

I would give 0 stars if I could This store is a scam! I came in to shop for a few things I needed for my home late may. My intention was never to buy my mattress here, but since I was already there I decided to put my trust into this store and purchase my mattress with the adjusting frame. I spent a few thousand dollars here, and my intention was to go back and buy my dining room set next month. However, I had called this store early June because as I was changing my mattress cover, I noticed threads that were unraveling. I immediately let them know because I have only had this mattress for a few weeks. The rep told me everything will be figured out and that they were going to send a technician to my home to inspect the mattress. Mind you, I sleep alone. I do not have animals, pets nothing which I communicated with the rep and he understood. It was simply a defect. I told the rep I would tape it for the time being so the holes don't get any bigger. He said that is fine and to not worry about anything. They scheduled my inspection for 2 weeks!!! They claimed that was the soonest they had. 2 days before the inspection, the inspection was cancelled due to "a thorough inspection" they decided that the "damage" was not covered under my warranty. This is crazy!!! What thorough inspection?? They cancelled the inspection!!!! They refused to keep this appointment for the inspection, so now I'm stuck with a mattress with holes future bed bugs and bacteria that will seep into the mattress. For two weeks I was stuck waiting for this inspection with holes in my mattress, how is it okay to let your customer sleep on a mattress with holes which will attract bacteria to seep in. I spent thousands in this store to get a defected product and no help from the store to remedy this issue!!! They are a complete scam! I should have went to sit n sleep down the street from Ashley. They don't want to answer my calls nor transfer me to a manager. I was put on hold a few times and was hung up on several times. All I needed them to do was go through with the inspection as they scheduled so that we can then speak about how to we can fix this issue. I need them to contact me in order to fix this now. This is a warning... Do not shop here!!

Used, Damaged Furniture & Months disregard. Our experience with Ashley Furniture HomeStore has been completely unacceptable. We purchased a white 5-piece sectional, and what was delivered was dirty, torn, and clearly used. This was not a minor issue -- the furniture looked as though it had already been in someone else's home. This situation has now dragged on for over THREE MONTHS. We have repeatedly tried to resolve this, only to be told there is no management available, no corporate address, and no corporate phone number to contact. We were assured that someone from the "escalation department" would reach out to us -- that has not happened. Instead, we've been given false promises, passed around, and completely ignored. The amount of time and effort wasted trying to correct a problem that never should have occurred is unbelievable. We have photos documenting the condition of the couch at delivery. This location shows a total lack of accountability and respect for its customers. I regret ever doing business here and strongly warn others to avoid this store unless you want months of frustration and zero resolution.

Buyer beware of the reguard 5 year protection plan. I purchased a sectional sofa equipped with 3 recliners. The salesperson told me that they offered a 5 year protection plan that cost $389.00 but it would protect the recliners if anything went wrong and also among several other things it covered damage from human or pet accidents. The salesperson seemed to really push the protection plan and because it had recliners and I have dogs I decided to purchase the plan. Well we received the sofa as planned . 6 months after purchase my dog urinated on the sofa. I was pretty upset because of the new sofa but I was thankful i purchased the protection plan. When I called to file the claim I got the run around. They asked for pictures of the serial number which are located underneath the sofa and because it's a sectional it has 3 different serial numbers difficult to locate and photograph . The sectional is very heavy and they required photos. Well we managed to photograph the serial #'s using a scope and sent in the information . They took over 2 weeks to reply only after I kept calling and they said they decided to mail me a cleaning kit so I could clean it myself and not a professional cleaning service. I could of saved the $389 and bought a can myself. I hope I never need the protection plan because it seems to be a fraudulent policy. I still had to wait 10 days to receive my kit. I have attached the policy they show you and what I received.

Cannot stress this enough, but make an appointment with Nelson or whichever sales associate you prefer! Made the mistake of assuming Nelson will be there when we arrive, so we did not make an appointment, and boy was that a mistake... As soon as we walked in, we were helped by Luis and initially it was great, he showed us the sofa we were looking at the last time we were here with Nelson and we already knew what mattress we wanted to purchase. He told us that he could give us the sofa for 50% off the original price if we were to purchase the luxury tempur-pedic hybrid mattress, which was a whopping $2000-$3000+. We declined, since we already had chosen a memory foam mattress that was out front, and he kept trying to talk us into buying the more expensive mattress with all these functions such as massaging, which we honestly do not need. When we decided to purchase the items, my mom wanted to know the total estimate including tax for the sofa and the mattress and Luis kept on trying to push us to purchasing for the delivery option, when we already mentioned that we are fine picking it up and assembling the sofa ourselves. (Note, the difference with the delivery/expert assembly was nearly a $400 difference.) We told him that we understand that there is some assembly required and that we are fine with doing it ourselves, but he kept going on about how complicated it is and by paying a little more, they will assemble it for us. Eventually he gave us the total price, with the delivery fee...? We had to ask again to give us the estimate without the delivery fee, so we can compare the two prices with and without delivery/assembly. I was on a time crunch and had to leave soon, but he kept explaining that we need it delivered and having them assemble it for us is the best option. Finally, the manager who was by the front gave us the cost without delivery/assembly, which was a more reasonable price for us. Although Luis was friendly, he made it feel like we were purchasing a car, with all the pressure he was trying to put on us to purchase a more expensive option and adding things we did not want to have.. My mom and I definitely preferred Nelson, since he did not once try to push us into purchasing a more expensive option during our first visit. Unfortunately for us, we saw Nelson while we were at the front trying to get the estimate, so we didn't want to be rude to Luis and change sales associate right when we were preparing to purchase our furniture. Seriously, if you want a positive experience shopping for furniture, make an appointment!

I purchased a living room set here and I have it scheduled to deliver late July is there any way we can pick up at the warehouse? Because the delivery date is too late

Yes but I recommend that you inspect your item before leaving for any defects. Ashley's will not send a technician or deliver furniture for an exchange.

When we originally purchased the mattress, we were told that in order for the warranty to be honored, we needed to use a mattress cover. Unfortunately, that same cover ended up causing the stain issue that led to our claim. After countless emails with Easy Rest and a denied claim, Jerome's sent out a technician to inspect the mattress. That's when Georgina, who I believe is the manager, stepped in and really took ownership of the situation. Along with Jasmine, our sales representative, they were both incredibly patient, courteous, and committed to helping us find a solution. Despite the initial denial from Easy Rest, Jerome's ultimately honored the warranty, replaced the mattress, and helped us with a new cover and other items. Their professionalism and willingness to stand behind their customer turned a very frustrating experience into a positive one. We truly appreciate the support from Georgina and Jasmine and will definitely be returning customers.

When she and my sister-in-law tried to file a claim for crappy furniture and workmanship they were told that the "plan" doesn't cover slipping of cushions before the furniture was even inspected. This was 15 months after delivery, so February of 2025. We Have been trying to get them to come back out because it's not an issue of a slipped cushion, but rather shoddy workmanship and subpar furniture, not worth the $2500 price tag. We have been dealing directly with the store manager who said he would help escalate and had done nothing until January 2026. He assisted getting us in touch with a liaison for their FCP yet nothing, so we went back on 2/16/26 and spoke with the store manager again who set us up with Alyssa in customer service there at the store. We had to go through the whole story and timeline once again. Meanwhile, the store manager says it would be easiest to just "swap out the piece, but too bad we don't have it any longer". Why in the hell was that not offered at the beginning? They string you along for months and months then deny the claim. Elder abuse at work here, easy prey. After more than a year of rebuilding, we ordered outdoor furniture from Living Spaces to be delivered in April 2026, while our landscaping was still incomplete. At the time of delivery, we had the delivery crew place the furniture in our finished garage for storage until the yard was ready. Unlike many furniture deliveries, the chairs were not packaged in boxes or protected by any wrapping or other protective materials during delivery, leaving them more susceptible to damage during transportation and handling. When our landscaping was finally completed in July, and we moved the furniture out of the garage, we discovered that one of the metal chair arms had a noticeable dent. We immediately contacted Living Spaces, provided photos, and were informed that because the damage was not reported within seven days of delivery, it would not be covered. Customer service stated it was not considered a manufacturer's defect, so it was also excluded from the warranty. We understood their policy but explained our unique circumstances that the furniture had been stored exactly where the delivery crew placed it while our home was still under construction and had not been moved prior to discovering the damage. Hoping for a reasonable solution, we asked to escalate the matter to a supervisor. Unfortunately, we received the same response. We then requested the delivery photo taken by the delivery crew. Surprisingly, the supervisor initially refused to provide it, and we had to escalate that request to a manager before it was finally released. When we received the delivery photo, it became clear that upon delivery and placement into our garage, the damaged chair had been staged with the seat cushion positioned over the damaged arm, completely obscuring the dent from view in the picture. Had the cushion not been covering the damaged area, we likely would have identified the problem immediately upon delivery. We brought this to the supervisor's attention, but Living Spaces still refused to offer any resolution. What is most disappointing is not that a damaged item was delivered - mistakes happen. It is that Living Spaces chose to rely solely on a rigid policy rather than exercise any discretion or goodwill, even after seeing evidence that the damage had been concealed in the delivery photo and understanding that we were customers rebuilding our home. What's more, is that we did not ask for a full refund or even a replacement of the entire set of the outdoor furniture, we reasonably asked for the replacement of just the damaged chair. Customer service is about more than quoting policies. It's about taking ownership when something goes wrong and treating customers fairly. Our Altadena neighborhood is still in the process of rebuilding after the Eaton Fire. Not only are we dedicated customers of Living Spaces for over two decades, but we are part of a community group of more than 100 neighbors, representing over 50 households in our immediate area, many of whom have not yet begun furnishing their rebuilt homes. Based on our experience, we will no longer be patronizing Living Spaces and will be sharing what happened with our community and encouraging our neighbors to consider furniture retailers that stand behind the products they deliver and demonstrate greater accountability, flexibility, and compassion for their customers. We expected much better from Living Spaces.
