I bought furniture from Ashley Homestore in Woodbridge on July 28th 2020, I was told my delivery date would be September 5th, it is now October 12th. I still have not received my furniture or refund. I have been in contact with Ashley's Furniture by my own will, never them reaching out to me. The blow dates were promised for delivery; Septemeber 5th, 13, 21st and October 6th, 9th, 12th and NOW the 19th. I requested a refund from the store manager Valerie on September 22nd, where she stated she could not give a refund on store level and that she has to contact corporate to request a refund. Also stated that corporate would contact me within 24-48 hours. It is now 20 days later since I was told I would receive a call, to no avail about my refund of over $1,000. It is now October 12th, no furniture, no refund. When speaking with customer service I was told that the store is a franchise store and that they need to handle the refund at the store. When speaking to the store they said that they go through a DIFFERENT CORPORATE? and that they would be in touch with me. Still to no avail. This store is very unprofessional, lies about estimated delivery times when they KNOW nothing is coming in just to get your money. This is theft, unprofessional and they have zero transparency as a company. I have submitted a complaint with the BBB.org, contacted my bank for fraudulent activity and will be contacting my families law firm for a lawyer. read more

Would not recommend to anyone. We purchased a bed and got notified a week later that the bed was discontinued. We bought the floor model, and when it was delivered somehow parts were "lost". The delivery men were very rude and told us they were "wasting time" when we asked them to stay while we tried contacting the store. We've waited weeks for the parts to come in the mail only for them to be lost again in transit. TERRIBLE SERVICE!! DO NOT SHOP AT ASHLEY! How is this place still in business when they treat their customers terrible? Ordered a bed frame in July, it is September and I still don't have it. They have attempted delivery 4 times, I sat around waiting every time and 3 times it was damaged and 1 time they didn't even show up. We spent a ridiculous amount of money on a Temper Pedic Cooling Mattress and got that later than promised but its currently on the floor because we don't have a bed frame. Customer service can't help, managers can't help, distro center can't help, do yourself a favor and don't shop here. There are other good furniture stores in the area. Sales was fine. Purchased furniture it took 3 months for two items to arrive after being told in store that it would arrive within 3 weeks. The warranty that was pushed on me it so not worth it. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THE WARRANTY. THEY REFUSE TO COVER "DAMAGES" that the seller said was covered. If BGS ent is the warranty Provider for Ashley DO NOt BUY. You can also read all complaints filed under the Better Business Bureau website for GBS enterprise. They are horrible to deal with and give you the run around. To the Ashley sales people trying to sell the warranty: I don't understand why you would try to "protect" furniture from them. They do nothing for you. read more

Awesome experience! Incredible. When you deal with Ashley, remember: all the stores are INDIVIDUALLY OWNED AND OPERATED. I was really hesitant after reading the web reviews about Ashley as a whole; however, the Woodbridge store is STELLAR regarding product and service. We had been looking for literally months for a modern, sleek two-seat leather power reclining sofa. We looked online and went everywhere. Haverty's had the Maddux, but OMG once we got into the store it was dark brown with so much white stitching it was tacky, tacky, tacky. And REALLY uncomfortable. And unstable. Plus they wouldn't negotiate the price. I found that crappy. We also considered Z Gallerie, who had a similar sofa, but they didn't have one in stock in the DC area and you had to place it 18" from the wall so it could fully recline. Say WHAT? LMAO Enter Ashley and the Exhilaration Sofa. Wow. Gorgeous and comfortable in the Woodbridge showroom. Real leather. Minimal stitching, and where there is stitching, it is dark brown, not white like Haverty's similar sofa, which means it fades into the background because it matches the sofa's espresso leather color. And it's wall-hugging, which means you can place it right up to the wall...doesn't need space behind it to fully recline. We knew it was for us immediately. Robin, our salesperson, was AMAZING. Ask for ROBIN when you go to the Woodbridge store. She not only has a fabulous personality, she's very savvy, smart and easy to talk to. She's low-keyed but engaged, doesn't hover over you, lets you have your space, and is there when you need her. She's a pro and so nice, warm, and funny. :) AND SHE GOT US A DEAL - $200 off the price. Now THAT'S customer service. She said it was in stock and even though the invoice said 3-8 weeks for delivery, she told me, "naw. you'll get it within 10 days." I trusted her, and she came through. :) The delivery dept. called us on the 8th day, and on the 10th day. today, it was delivered promptly within the 3-hour time frame they had given us. The delivery guys were awesome, too...friendly, professional, and set it up for us very nicely. :) I have to mention Christian, the Sales Manager, as well - when I had returned home from buying the sofa and started reading all the crappy reviews about Ashley as a whole I freaked. I called the next day and spoke directly to Christian. He assured me we WOULD get our sofa very quickly, that each store WAS individually owned and operated, and that they had JUST built a brand-new warehouse like 25 miles from us. He was great in calming me down. So do not HESITATE to go here. They were awesome to us, delivered as promised. And remember - ask for ROBIN. :D read more

ZERO STARS!!!!!! We purchased 3 rooms of furniture from Ashley's. It took over 45 days for the items to be available for delivery. The deliveries were not on time. One delivery didn't arrive and claimed they did. The dining room table expansion track broke... it's been 2 months since I filed the claim. They arrived today with the replacement table and it was REFURBISHED! It had a repaired scratch on the table top and replacement parts for the expansion track. It will be another week before another shipment arrives... so it looks like another 2 weeks before we get a new dining room table. --side note, the replacement table will not come with a warranty. My current warranty is not transferable. I'll have to purchase a new warranty from the store for the replacement piece. We bought 1 sofa with memory foam cushions. The stitching is already coming apart and the cushions themselves are defective. There is a roll in the center of the foam. We bought an accent chair... 1 leg is already bent. We bought an entertainment center. 1 door doesn't line up to the magnet and won't stay closed. My fingers fit through the gap in the front face of the entertainment center. We also bought a sofa table. The wood shelf had a natural defect and is broken. Overall, the quality of the furniture is awful!!! Ashley's clearly thinks they can sell low quality at high prices and give customers the run around on the warranties. Spend your hard earned money somewhere else. read more

We decided to take a look at Ashley Furniture after another local furniture store totally screwed up and we decided to cancel our entire order with them. We had a very good, very attentive, but not pushy saleswoman named Lauren. She listened to our needs and our budget and walked us across the store and back again showing us what was inside our budget and gave us space when we needed to talk privately about our budget and considered our options. We ended up finding exactly what we wanted, placed our order and even got our items early. Delivery was easy and the crew was respectful of our home and helped move the new pieces where we wanted them and set everything up. I ordered a sectional, two end tables, & a coffee table & it was a great!! We didn't get jumped on by a bunch of salesmen & the guy that welcomed us said "they don't pay me enough to hunt you down so look around all you want & let us know when you need help" LOL. Huge relief! After choosing what we liked they told us it would take about three weeks to come in but it actually came in sooner. About a week & a half after ordering they got delivered to our house! (Oct 2022) The associate ordered the wrong item even though we showed a pic and pointed out the furniture in the store. It took many phone calls and a visit to the store before they resolved the issue. So I thought. ----- (Jan 2023) Update: The store manager updated the original invoice and delivered the right item promising to credit back a difference of $783.34 since the item I selected cost less than what they originally delivered. I was even emailed a link to a receipt showing the refund. When that refund didn't come through I opened a dispute with the bank which is when the accounting dept claimed that it was NOT a refund but a store credit. I went back to the store to talk to the manager who also confirmed that it should have been credited back to the card since it was no fault of mine that the associate rang up the wrong item in the first place. So please be careful dealing with this store. Don't trust the associate or manager and read every receipt or invoice VERY VERY carefully !! I will never go back to this store. I'm going to keep this simple, Do Not Buy From Ashley Home Store! We ordered a sofa/sleeper and love seat just before Christmas. It was suppose to be delivered the first week of January. They kept telling us it was delayed durning shipping and postponed the delivery date week after week after week. I decided to go the store in person to see what the holdup was. They informed me that my order had just arrived so I scheduled delivery for the following Wednesday. I stayed home from work to ensure a successful delivery. When they finally arrived just after 4 p.m., the delivery man told me he only had the loveseat. I thought he was joking. He told me that the store should have called me and informed me that the sofa/sleeper was damaged during shipping. I contacted the store and they finally informed me that it was true and I would only be getting the love seat at that time. The delivery man insisted on dropping off the love seat. That's not going to happen! I told him that he could take it back to the store and I would go talk to them in person. They tried offering me an additional $200 off and 24 months interest free financing. That wasn't even close to getting me to continue purchasing furniture from them. I canceled my order all together (which they said they had to call the district manager or something like that because I had already signed a contract for the furniture). That's insane! Any-hoo, save yourself the headache and frustration of buying Ashley. I wish I would have read the reviews before we initially made the purchase. read more

I would like to give them no stars. This Ashley HomeStore is the worst. They do not care about their customers only the commission. We arrived already knowing what we wanted because we found it online before we drove over. The only reason we went to the store was because they had a deal on protection. First the sales woman tried to say the bed set cost $800 more than it did online, then she said company policy says that you have to put money down. Then the manager comes over and says that we have to use our Ashley credit card in that store only. That it could not be used online or another location. I will not be returning to the store. I am giving ONE star because I don't have the option to give 0. WORSE EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!!! DONT EVER BUY FROM ASHLEY FURNITURE STORE!!! I am not happy with how everything turned out. Today I was supposed to get my delivery for the second time with the new bedroom set that I chose since the first one was damaged and half of the bedroom set was not the pieces that I ordered, but again, it was missing pieces and the bed was damaged. Almost the same thing with the first one that you guys delivered wrong and damaged. They took it all back saying that on Saturday everything will be delivered complete and in perfect condition, with it wasn't the case. 3rd time they make a mistake and after spending hours and hours and talking with different people NOTHING got resolved. I am tired of losing time with all of this, I was very late to work today because I was waiting for the delivery, plus the day I had to get off work to weight for the delivery. I paid a lot of money for all the furniture I bought for my whole apartment, I am not asking for a favor. CUSTOMER CARE are the worse of them all, even told me that it was my fault that the two night stand didn't get delivered together because I should have call them to informe that it was in separate invoices.
