My Family and I have come to see the hygienists and Dr Atwal for a few years now. Regular cleanings, my husband having all silver fillings replaced with white fillings, and most recently an emergency root canal they have been absolutely amazing. My two young children have had their first cleanings and X-rays done here and everyone was great with them as well. Dr. Atwal and his team constantly go above and beyond in dealing with my allergies and whatnot, despite the fact that they are highly unusual. Everyone in the office is always friendly, always smiling. They all seem very happy to be working there. I even love the photos of the office staff on the wall that show a goofy, smiling staff. I have been going to Dr. Atwal for about 3-4 years now. He has made my smile so much better! So I was very insecure about my smile I had a root canal in my two front teeth and the dentist at the time messed my smile up now After having braces and perfect teeth for so long I was so embarrassed to smile the teeth were different colors and bulky and just looked awful. I'd like to update my review, the filling that they gave me, fell out, not even a year after they put it in. I was participating on an interview panel and what felt like a small food particle "fell" onto my tongue. Thinking it was some piece of something from breakfast, I spit it out and kept on with my day. A week later, I was eating a egg and cheese breakfast burrito and the whole filling came out, no warning, just dropped out. Of course these things only happen on Friday afternoons AND I now live 1700 miles away so I had to find a reputable dentist and then be seen. Thank goodness I found one here in Austin and got in a week later. May I just say that a week without a filling was not too fun. I've never had tooth pain like this, even though I was told that I needed this filling (I didn't have tooth pain when they put it in initially, but I trusted them and they were so nice). The dentist said that they had drilled so deep that she wasn't sure that I wouldn't need a root canal! WHAT?!?! That took wasn't even hurting me before the filling! She was able to spare me the root canal but she says if this filling comes out again, I will need that procedure. My son and his father both say they STILL have tooth sensitivity from some sealant that they put on their teeth. Smh. Just when I thought I'd found a great place. read more
