Came in April to get work done because I am missing 2 front teeth.Dr. Suggested doing a bridge or a stay plate. Needed to wait for approval from medical. Before I left the Dr kept pushing for me to do the stay plate and pay $450 out pocket. I told her I would rather wait to see if Medical approves either treatment solution for me. Received a letter from medical and went back to the office on 5/21. Dr. pretty much said that she is not comfortable doing the stay plate and would rather not do it, even though Medical approved the treatment for me. This confirms my initial feeling of them just wanting me to pay out of pocket so they don't have to reconcile with Medical. Wasted my time when I could have gone to another office to get my teeth fixed which is embarrassing for me. They showed no empathy and lacked professionalism all around. read more

She was able to do a crown for me that I've been putting off for four years now I am able to eat and I am so thankful. She explained everything to me and never hurt me. I saw Dr. Le with concerns about my teeth and after visiting Western Dental (The WORST dentist ever!). Dr. Le and her staff was great!!!!! The visit was smooth and very focused on my issues. Her staff answered all my questions. I arrived at 11:45 with a noon appointment. Did the normal paper work and was in the chair right at noon. The doctor started reviewing the x-rays about 15 mins into the appointment which is reasonable. She reviewed her findings and started my cleaning. I hardly ever write reviews. I had the worst tooth pain ever, 1000/10 pain level. to the point that I had to go to the ER, ER just gave me narcotics and didn't do anything. The next day I went to my own dentist in Fremont. They took an X-ray of my teeth and there was a big infected area that needed to be drained out. They just gave me antibiotics and let me go and didn't even care about how much pain I was in. I googled dental clinics in Tracy and found this amazing Doctor Lee! Literally the best dentist I ever had. I went to west valley dental the doctor Herself saw me in such pain and discomfort. She took me in right away. Literally with in 3 mins of me walking in, Eventho she had other patients to work on. On the same day she drained the infected area and performed a root canal operation. I felt sooo much better. I wouldn't recommend this dentist because I feel she's not honest regarding insurance co-payments. She told me she could not do a crown for me because I didn't want to pay $500. (She actually phrased it like that- sorry I can't help you because you don't want to pay $500..!) I couldn't understand why she would charge me $500 when my insurance co-payment is $110. I had to find a new dentist and I was able to get a new crown for $110 co-payment at a different office. If you choose to go with West Valley Dental, make sure you check all your receipts and verify that you're not paying more than what you should be. Thing is, this was the second time I went to her for a crown and the first time I did pay her $500 (same insurance coverage). I was in a lot of pain and would have paid anything at the time. read more

Good intentions but no attention to detail. I've been going here for a long time for teeth cleanings and check ups. Had a root canal done by Linda Le years ago and had infections the last couple years. I would come in to get it checked. She would give me antibiotics and send me on my way. Turns out I had a cracked tooth for years and a giant abscess that they didn't seem to catch???? Now I have to see an oral surgeon. There's no way they didn't catch this but they knew and let the problem grow. Very disappointed. read more

One of the best dental care office in the area and a great dentist by far! I was not happy with my current dentist due to the lack of experience in dealing with patient severe repetitive pains. I have a very bad toothache for 1 and a half years and have visited my dentist 3 times and they still cannot figure out the cause of my pain even though they did an x-ray each time. I feel like I needed a root canal but they always told me that there is nothing wrong with my tooth. I was very disappointed and skeptical with their analysis. Enough is enough with this run around checkup. I wanted a new dentist's opinion so I did my search on Yelp and found Dr. Linda Tu Le to be one of the highest praised, ranking reviews on Yelp and made an appointment with West Valley Dental. They did not disappoint me at all. They took me back right at my scheduled time and not only did a first visit exam and x-rays but also fit me in for treatment the same day. Dr Linda was very professional and experienced that she knew exactly what was needed and got straight to the problem. She told me exactly what I have always suspected and that I needed a root canal. After my root canal procedure I had a crown and was very happy with the result. Now, I have a beautiful smile with no pains. Dr. Le is the best dentist I've ever had. Before I was so afraid of going to a dentist I put it off for 10yrs, eventually I had to find a dentist and it was a horrible experience looking for one. I went to 5 different dentists before finding Dr. Le. They made me feel like I was at a used car dealer. Using sale tactics to instil fear to make me believe I needed more than which was required. Trying to convince me that I needed the most expensive procedures to save my smile. Treating me like I was just someone they can make money off of. I just about gave up hope of finding a good and honest dentist. But then I found Dr. Le and it was unlike any experience I've ever had. Le and her staff are kind, patient, willing to work with you. I never felt pressured to get any procedure which wasn't absolutely required. Dr. Le really takes the attention to detail to make sure you are comfortable throughout the entire procedure, taking the extra time to let the numbing kick in, if I ever showed signs of discomfort during she would stop and ask if I needed to sit-up to breathe, if I was in pain, ect. This is a dentist office who really cares about your well being, if you are afraid of going to the dentist like I was. This is the place for you. I was a 1st time patient. I was scheduled for 3:30. I got there 10 min. early and was told my appointment was at 3:00. I got a call yesterday confirming my 3:30 appointment. I also, was told I got a call today, which I didn't. The office was dirty. The trash can next to the dental chair was overflowing and there was trash also on the floor. The office had a strange smell. The dental assistant polished my teeth and then the Dentist did my cleaning. Which usually a hygenist does. She wasn't gentle and got too close to my gums. My family has been a client of west valley dental for over 15 years. My daughter went in for a cleaning and is 21 years old and was told she had 7 cavities and would cost 1100.00 dollars. West Valley called me to let me know about her teeth and if she would come in they would give her a discount of only 800.00. We elected to get a second opinion from another dentist with X-rays she had 1 cavity. Letting west Valley know what we were told the receptionist hung up on me . We have no insurance and always paid cash would not recommend very dissonance. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! I will be doing everything in my power to get the message out there of the theft I experienced! Theft, ripoff, NO INTEGRITY!! I will never understand how someone can sit there and look you in the eye and lie like this doctor did to me. If you roll down to 2012 it mirrors the complaint I have about being told $600 worth of dental work was going to be done to me I was in her chair 20 minutes after waiting 30 minutes to be seen! She told me she was doing a deep cleaning and my part was going to be $283?? I was in and out of her chair in 20 minutes?? When I got to my car I sat there dumbfounded trying to figure out what just happened and why it cost so much money. I began to make calls other dentists were shocked that she claimed to be doing this procedure to me which takes two visits. I called the office the next morning to complain about the services rendered and the price I paid. The receptionist agreed with me and apologized said she would call the doctor I told them that I wanted my money back by the end of the day or I would be there the next day to get a report on exactly what she did. Within an hour I got a call back and all $300 was refunded. They said they would not charge my insurance company the 3+ hundred dollars they were going to charge them. She then said we're so sorry for the misunderstanding on the procedure. I then said there was no misunderstanding this was plain and simple fraud! Beware people this woman is not honest and you need to question everything. I have a quote from her also decided in the 20 minutes that exceeds $5000. I went in for a simple cleaning and check up. I have no pain or issues??? It kills me to think of the financial burden this woman has unnecessarily place on people and I WILL be taking this to the ADA!!!! read more

Dr. Le and her staff are absolutely wonderful, caring, informative, great communication, and on time. Really, what more can you ask for? I had not gone to the dentist in many many years. I actually have a pretty strong phobia with Dentist's due to past experiences at other places. Dr. Le has put those experiences to rest. They are very friendly, communicative, thorough, and fair. I have been coming here for a few years and don't see any reason to ever try any other places. Great staff, great Dentist,etc. You need to also bear in mind, Dentist's charge what the insurance does not cover. Some of these people talking about high prices don't typically understand their co-pays, insurance amount, and total cost. It is not the Dr's setting YOUR price, they set THEIR price and YOUR price is what YOUR insurance will not cover. I have to say that from the beginning my experience with Doctor Le was just great. I had a lot of issues that were handled professionally and with a gental touch. From my first meeting Gladys (sorry if I mess up names in this review) at the fron desk it was a welcome environment. The first assistant I met was Melaine and she was just very relaxed and easy to speak with. She set the tone of how the care was going to be. The Doctor was just awesome explaing the issue and what needed to be done to get my teeth back to where they needed to be. I had to come back because of work issues but on my next visit just an outstanding experience again. The next assistant I met was Imelda and she was just awesome. Again easy to speak with and made you relaxed. The doctor made the shots very easy and minimal pain. She did an outstanding job and would recommend Dr. Le to everyone. It is really a great practice. The staff makes it a nice enviornment to have something that is not so pleasant to have done. Thank you to Gladys, Melanine, Imelda and Dr. Le for the great service. I have been coming here for 6 years now and I could not be happier with my dental care. Dr. Le is amazingly friendly and makes me feel extremely comfortable in an environment that is typically not as such. She has done 4 root canals for me, a few fillings and multiple cleanings. I saw a review that says she over charges, but I'm sure that person has no clue how insurance works or the process of dental care is done. I would strongly recommend this dental office. If you have questions about your dental costs just make sure they are in your network. The staff at the front desk is more than happy to do the research for you. Not being in your dental network is usually the reason quotes get higher than others. Go here. Most people hate going to the dentist, but I find it to be comforting. That's probably because she has never recommended work to be done that I do not need and is not shy on telling me if a procedure is necessary. I love coming here and you will too! If I could give this place a no stars I would!!!! I had some fillings done there and Dr. Le said the sensitivity would only last 5-7 days..I went back one week later cause one of the fillings was to high and I mentioned the sensitivity and she still said it could last a bit longer...everyone is different...3 weeks later...still in pain (have to drink through a straw because any hot or cold would bother it, could not chew on that side at all, my jaw hurt so back i was popping advil like candy just to be able to eat)...went back to have it the filling adjusted again as my bite didn't feel right...she wasnt there but someone else was and I told her what was happening and she drilled one of the my teeth to adjust my bite...but stil no luck...I told her the bite still doesn't feel right and she said give it a day for everything to adjust and if the tooth is still sensitive they may have to do a root canal. On that same day I decided to get a second opinion and was I glad I did! It turns out that she didn't put the hills and valleys back into my teeth so they when they came together it didn't fit right and that was throwing off my bite and causing me a great deal of pain including the sensitivity! The new dentist (NOT AT WEST VALLEY DENTAL) fixed the filling by putting in the hills and valleys (which helped with the bite issue) he even finished one of the fillings she started but didn't compact down...so there was a void. The dentist I went to (in not so many words) seemed to think the work at West Valley Dental is at best sub par. He was able to fix everything in one hour and I was back eating regular food and drinks (without a straw). I will NEVER got to Linda Le again!!! read more
