I was skeptical. New place that's only been open for a couple of months, Asian food in Rochester, especially sushi... I wasn't sure what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised tonight. The ambience is great, they've done a great job of decorating the place, the service was outstanding, and the food was absolutely delicious. We started with the miso soup, which was one of the best I've ever had, then had to get the Asia Nation dumplings, which lived up to the name and were very tasty, and split a spider roll and shrimp tempura roll for the main course, both of which were outstanding and flavorful. I am excited to come back here for a bunch of the "real"/raw sushi/sashimi as soon as possible. The only constructive criticism I could have is about a couple of the noises when dining in. They ring an old school bell when food is ready, which was a bit annoying and distracting. We have been in search of another restaurant with great takeout nearby. The food here was standard and reasonable in comparison to other restaurants we have tried. The options were also standard for takeout. I ordered shrimp fried rice, sesame shrimp, lo mein and sweet and sour chicken. The lo mein had a slightly sweeter taste to it than I was used to. Everything else was pretty standard. If looking for something in the Chili area, this may be a good option. Overall OK, not super special. We would return. read more

I really wanted to try the Dry Pot dish and went to this place, but I was warned by the server that it was a very spicy dish. I cannot tolerate spicy food. Instead, I tried the Crispy Pork appetizer (pork French fries) with no sauce to accompany the dish. Crunchy indeed, not what I had in mind. Ordered the Mongolian Beef with white rice. It came in a small metal wok, a generous portion. Satisfying with plenty of onions and greens. I tasted a little curry taste that was different and I liked it. Pretty good sushi, got takeout the first time but tried in house lunch today and it's the perfect lunch! Sadly we were unable to get the bubble tea as they did not turn on their machine ‍. But we will be back as the food was great, a bit expensive but we were treated by one of our sales managers today! Second day of their soft opening. We tried takeout and enjoyed both selections. The seafood soup (we got it spicy) had a delicious broth and enough for two to share. We wish there was more seafood in it; only 1 mussel. The General Tso chicken was different than expected. It had plentiful crispy chicken and had chunks of pineapple and potato (!) . Small bit of peppers made the sauce spicy. The generous portion with white rice was plenty to share with some for tomorrow. We liked it but will try other menu items to find our favorites. Certainly will return as we need Asian cuisine nearby. A good start for day 2! read more

For a brand new restaurant, the food was absolutely delicious but the service (while extremely friendly) could use a little bit of tweaking. The sushi was top notch! The fish is high quality, the specialty rolls were very good and the presentation was beautiful. We absolutely loved our dinner. My only feedback on the service is that the rolls were dropped off and not explained what they were (so we kept eating and eventually figured it out). Also, prior to ordering the Spider roll I asked what was in it and was told shrimp. I said, oh it's not fried crab? And was told no. Once received, I'm pretty certain it was crab. Lastly, after the food drop off no one came back over to check on us until we were almost done. Everyone was super friendly though which was a plus. This restaurant is very new and is still in their soft open stage. You would never know they were in the soft opening period as everything was fantastic. The place is very fresh and clean. Our server was Yuyin and she was a great server and made sure everything was to our liking and that our drinks were always full. I had seaweed salad and a crunchy spicy yellowtail roll both were excellent. I would have to say this was the best seaweed salad I have ever had. The sushi roll was also delicious. My wife had miso soup and hibachi chicken with LoMein noodles. That dish was also delicious. Their serving sizes are large. My sushi was 8 pieces. I would highly recommend this place. read more

This is a relatively new spot in Chili located in the Two Fronts Plaza (f.k.a. Chili-Paul Plaza). The setting is quaint and limited seating. There is a counter and bar as well. Most of the seating is along one wall. I have visited here a couple of times and each was wonderful. The menu is standard Asian-American cuisine and also has sushi. It was delivered promptly and I'm a waitress asked if we were ready for the order. I was with my wife. I placed my order my wife need more time. He stated we needed more time in the Server over the whole time. I had a state that we need more time twice to her before she walked away. She came back two minutes later and said the kitchen closed in two minutes. At that point, I was so irritated that we both got up and walked out.. if you say you're gonna be open till nine you should be taking orders up until nine. Otherwise say 830. read more

First time trying this new Restaurant in Chili. It was fantastic!! We did order take out from the online ordering process. It was easy to order and they texted when they started to prepare our food. Only thing I would like if they had a place for special requests i.e little spice, no spice etc. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and our food was waiting in a special spot with the ticket attached so there wasn't a question who's order was who's. They put it our order reusable bag which was a nice surprise. The food was delicious with amazing flavors. We tried some old favorites like Sesame Chicken which was made with pineapple. It was very good! We also had chicken with mixed vegetables. The dish was a very large portion and it had great distinct flavors. We also had Beef with broccoli. The beef was tender and not fatty as can be in other restaurants. Again a very lg portion. We tried harumaki( spring rolls) and they were light, crispy and the sauce has slightly sweet with a hint of spice. We also had Chicken Rice Noodles and it came in a very creative to go container. It had noodles steamed chicken and a spicy broth. Next time we will go with the original soup spice. We tried the crunch spicy salmon roll and loved the fresh flavor of the sushi. Lastly I got the Dry Pot with shrimp and I couldn't get over the large amount of shrimp in this stir fry dish! It had lots of veggies and shrimp and the sauce had quite a bit of spice and a lot of hot peppers we in the dish but I just removed them and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. The take out service was very slow even when the first opened up for the day. Haven't dined in yet but will as I was short on time. The food was good and enjoyable. Plenty of parking no problem. The pork lomein wasn't roasted pork. the sauce on the lomein was riddled with sugar - way too sweet. the wonton and spicy peanut sauce was more like a horrendous mushy pasted coated turd. I tried to take a bite, spit it out immediately. the Mongolian beef was so heavily over sliced with cumin. There was absolutely no nuance or complexity to this dish. I felt bad that my father hard ordered two portions of this dish. we also ordered some chicken, broccoli with what looked like zucchini. I had already had my fill of yuck so I didn't try this. it didn't look appealing, We tried a sushi roll. the roll was mushy and tasteless. Nothing we ordered would I ever order again. Unfortunately, my mother bought a gift card as art of my gift. This was only for to my initial excitement from all of the, questionably, rave reviews. First time guest! We got take out, the menu was quite extensive which made me a little nervous but when I arrived I was so pleased with the cleanliness, friendly staff and ease of ordering. We had many different dishes and every single one was delicious AND HOT which is rare when getting takeout. The food tasted like food, not just the sauce it was in. I loved the spicy tuna rolls and the spicy peanut sauce on the dumplings. Pork buns were delicious, we had general tso's chicken, sesame chicken and Mongolian beef and all were delicious! Asia Nation started out with a bang! Literally from the first week, they've been crowded. And the reason why is that they know what they're doing. The food is fantastic, and the service is unbelievably fast, especially considering how many people there usually are in here. We've eaten here three times, and the flavors are unique, way more exotic than standard takeout. they have a range of Asian flavors, including expertly made sushi. We got the Evelyn avocado roll, delicious. Miso soup are great, though we would've liked a little bit more in a bigger bowl. But that's quibbling. Rice noodles and vegetable dish was very good, lots of cool vegetables, including zucchini. The dry pot chicken was fabulous. It is a special dish with great depth of flavor, compulsively eatable.
