Time to box this place up and put it on the shelf. I'm really struggling with Asian Box because it had so much potential. I like the IDEA of their menu, it's just that their food isn't good, and the service here is lacking. I've been here multiple times trying to support their business and everything from their very dry sitting out and not fresh since it's been sitting out for hours "fresh" rolls with peanut sauce is always dissapointing. Just think about the rice paper drying and shriveling up until it becomes hard and chewy. That was my last visit with their dry salmon rice bowl. This time was the incredibly awful chicken pho. The watery broth, gross dry chicken with no flavor and noodles that you can get via a package at ANY Asian market and here you go for like $20 after tax and tip. This restaurant was surprisingly good and the service was amazing! My boyfriend and I decided to eat here after trying a generous sample of their Vietnamese Hot Chicken. The sample came with a generous amount of chicken and rice. Our lunch consisted of: * Salmon Salad - came with roasted lemongrass salmon, salad greens, pickled veggies, herbs, and a delicious ginger soy vinaigrette. They gave too much hot sauce so that was a waste. My son liked his Banh Mi. He didn't have it with jalapenos though. The second half was eaten by my husband who said it was a nice sandwich with good bread. I liked my Salmon Salad though I wish I had not dumped the entire contents of dressing over my greens. The menu at Asian Box features a variety of dishes, they are all made with fresh ingredients. Service was not as attentive, we have to wait a bit for our server to order. I'd suggest to order it online and pick it up at the restaurant. We've ordered Chef's salad box and a custom box. I really enjoyed the chef's salad box, the reason why I gave a 3 star is because the chicken is really dry and hard to eat. Otherwise it would had been great.
