Sesame chicken.
Heather S.

Tried this for the first time to get Chinese food. It's now our new favorite. The food is just better, although it is more expensive than most Chinese spots around here. We did take out, which was extremely fast--even on a Saturday night. I had the sesame chicken, which was very crispy, but I like that. Only negative point is that some of the pieces are way more puff than meat. My husband had the beef lo mein which he said was the best we have tried around here.

Cute spot right off of Bryan! They have nice selection of Asian food- predominately Vietnamese food like pho, etc. We both opted for stir fried dishes with chicken - sweet and sour and broccoli chicken stir fry. Both come with white rice on the side. Portion size and service were both okay. We also got the steak appetizer (bo lui) which was great. Lots of seating inside and they have a bar as well. Prices were fair. Will be back to try the lobster Rangoon.

Met a friend here for lunch and glad I did. I've been looking for a new Asian food spot and think I found it. The menu is a mix of Vietnamese and Chinese. Plenty to choose from. I started with the crab Rangoon and for the shrimp, beef and pork platter that came with noodles and spring roll. Everything. Was delicious but really enjoyed the flavor of the pork. Service was attentive and atmosphere was cozy inside. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. Steady stream of take out orders and diners on a Saturday at lunch time. Will be back to try more very soon.

Pho dac biet

Very good meal. The waitress was quick bringing food and drinks. Very cool atmosphere with fish tanks music and a bar. The appetizer was delicious, the peanut sauce stood out compared to other places I have been. The broth of the soup and the pork in the noodles were also key elements in the meal. I would return again to try something new!

Bun Dac Biet!! So delicious! One of my favorite dishes!

Absolutely love their food! It's always fresh, tasty and plenty on your plate. There are so many dishes to choose from. You won't be disappointed!! I drive 30 minutes to come eat here and it's worth the drive. The service is always top notch! No complaints. There is plenty of seating, not very noisy. However, they due tend to keep it dim inside.

I hate when restaurants use styrofoam packaging for hot food! I just ate a bunch of plastic with my veggie stir fry noodles

Food tasted fine. Too bad it was packaged in styrofoam and so hot it melted the box! Use paper boxes please!

Kung Pao chicken.

The food was absolutely amazing! I had Kung Pao chicken. I requested it to be a spiciness level 3. Perfect!! It was definitely spicy but not uncomfortably spicy. Great service. Attentive. But not overbearing. Very casual. Felt comfortable in shorts or jeans.

Mongolian something....certainly not beef

What a disappointment. With such lacking choices in St Charles County I was excited to try Asian Cafe. My general Tao had battered pieces with no meat in them. My 8+ dollar Fried wonton came with three and if I wanted to order Mongolian dried noodle I would have.

Bun dac biet (specialty vermicelli) with egg rolls, char-grilled pork, boiled pork belly - pour fish sauce over everything.

Ordered the beef pho and the flavor was good but the problem was that there was only 5 pieces of thin meat felt ripped off for paying $17.

I was very disappointed. Food had a "funny" taste to it. Portions were extremely small and prices were high, in my opinion.

Get the Bahn Mi sandwich to start...then the basil rice and hot braised chicken. You will not regret it.

If you aren't…read morepicky about Thai or Viet food (and with the choices we have, you really don't have a choice...) then definitely come out an try it. It was a party of 3 and we were greeted very nicely and told to sit anywhere. Our friend with us had heard great things about this place and we figured to try it in person. He is a SPICE guy, like SPICY food is his thing, and he wasn't not impressed with the spice OR by the chili oil they gave him. I ordered a Bun Bo Hue for the first time, and I liked it! It was a nice comforting bowl of soup comparable to pho but more flavorful already. Our friend ordered the Pad Khi Mao, and he said it was decent - I think if the spice level was to his liking, he would have loved it! My husband ordered Chow Mein, and it wasn't bad! I liked his more than my soup and couldn't stop eating his lol. We ended up paying cash and we got 15% off our bill so that was great! When we ordered take out, I had a green curry and my husband had the Pad See Yu and it was fine then. I love a really aromatic green curry but it wasn't hitting it. We might still come back since it is so close and I really liked their service.

I ordered the Grilled Pork and Egg Roll Vermicelli (Bun) entree, the 2x Pork and Shrimp Spring…read moreRolls appetizer and 3 layer bean drink dessert. In total, the cost was $33. I received the order within 10 minutes, so quite quick service. While Viet Pho makes reasonable Vietnamese food facsimiles, it just a little off from being genuine. For example, the $15.50 Vermicelli Bun needed some mint leaves to make it more authentic. The pork wasn't exactly char grilled. The egg roll was a little too mushy. Though, they did include peanuts, onions, lettuce, carrots, sprouts and fish sauce. Overall, this dish tasted good despite the missing ingredients. 3.5 out of 5 stars. The $6.25 Spring Rolls x2 were reasonably authentic, but were rolled too loosely. Once bit into, most of the interior ingredients fell out, making it rather difficult to dip into the included sauce without the entire roll falling apart. Also, the authenticity of this sauce was odd. Instead of being a standard peanut sauce, it tasted like it was made with bananas and had an odd flavor profile. This appetizer tasted quite good despite these issues. 3 out of 5 stars also. The $8.25 three layer bean drink dessert is also a good facsimile, but misses the mark in some places. The red beans used should have been sweetened, but were not. The beans used in this drink were large red kidney beans when smaller sweet red beans are typically used in more authentic versions. These red beans even seemed salted. I'd have been fine with kidney beans if they had been sweetened. The bean, coconut, ice, and jelly flavor of the drink dessert was fine overall. 4 out of 5 stars. The meal was overall filling, but I've certainly had better. For the prices and the missed ingredients, it's just not authentic enough. I can't speak for their Pho soups, only these items above. Would I visit again? Yeah, but only if I had a strong craving for Bun. I will visit again and try their soups. Look for that updated review in the future.

The food tastes like my childhood, I love the variety in the menu and the classics. I've had the bun bo hue, pho, vermicelli bowl, and fried shrimp rolls. I highly recommend the classic pho (dac biet - special) and if you're looking to try something new then definitely try the bun bo hue.
