Great little family owned Thai spot! If you love spicy food, be sure to give Sunisa's a try. The employees were very kind and attentive. We came here with friends and ordered the Lobster Rangoons, Spicy Fried Rice, Pad See Ew, Green Curry, and Drunken Noodles. I ordered a level 4 spice for the dishes and it was all great. The flavor in all of the dishes was on point. I've ordered delivery from here before but will say the food tastes much much better if eaten fresh at the restaraunt. I don't think you understand how much I crave Sunisa's Thai food. I'm a creature of habit so I stick to Tom-Kha soup, a tangy, slightly spicy broth with veggies and chicken. This soup is so good! The ingredients are fresh and veggies are crisp. When I'm feeling spicy (see what I did there?), I get the Spicy Basil with chicken. I've really never had anything at Sunisa's that wasn't delicious. A smallish and contemporary ambiance in this spot located in the Schnucks plaza. Always plenty of parking. There is usually not a wait for a table. The weekend crowd tends to get takeout. The appetizers are quite good including veggie rolls, edamame, roti and lobster Rangoon. My favorite here is the Chiang Mai soup. Healthy, colorful and flavorful food is what you will find here. My only recommendation is that they use the more flavorful Jasmine rice. It would enhance their dishes so much. read more

I would like to say maybe my review on the duck basil is from my travels abroad, working out of LA and ny so I have to remember most times. Hate to give bad review. I ordered via uber eats three times and I had the duck basil. Each time it was either a smaller portion and few duck. This time it was a lot of basil and few duck and the sauce was very runny.. still ok to me given the area I am in. So I don't mind it. I honestly wish I would've just had that option. I ordered the pad see ew with tofu. I had level 4 and it was sort of spicy but I didn't get a chance to add my heat I got from Thailand because the presentation wasn't even it. I thought maybe it was rice before opening. I didn't see flat rice noodles. I opened and I never saw noodles like such. They were like scrambled. The tofu appeared to have been quickly thrown in while cooking as it was still very light in appearance. I decided to place a small amount on a plate and it was not good at all. There was I'm assuming egg but it was chewy. The rice noodles I'm not sure was over cooked but sort of mushy. I threw that away. I've honestly would assume that at a grocery store but not here. Minimal chicken in both of our dishes as well- I'd say about 3 ounces at most. Thai tea runs about $5 here as well so we skipped. They charge 4% for paying with credit too- not a love. read more

Was in the mood for some Pad Thai and stopped by Sunisa's Thai Restaurant. Located in St. Peter's, MO Sunisa's restaurant was a pleasant surprise. Again was interested in Pad Thai so we decided to keep it simple. We ordered vegetarian egg rolls as a appetizer as well as Pad Thai with and without chicken. Food was served very quickly and a very healthy portion. I'm new to Thai food but Sunisa's dishes were perfectly seasoned as well as spicy. I usually like spicy but when eating Thai food I stick to a level 2 which is plenty spicy for me. I'm sure there are a few people who can enjoy a little bit more spicy, and Sunisa's can accommodate. Restaurant was very clean and tables were serviced quickly. We visited on a Saturday afternoon and was seated quickly. Overall, great experience and will be back. read more

Honestly, this place was just mediocre. I gave it a try since it's close by and I had a craving for Pad Thai. As I walked into the restaurant, located within a shopping center, I was taken aback by how deserted it was. Only one order came through while I was there and it was a take-out order. That was the vibe Sunisa was giving off, take-out Thai food. The waiter was quiet and inattentive. The only time I saw him was to take my order and bring me the check. I felt as though I was an inconvenience to them. Made for a very unwelcoming feeling. I started with the sampler appetizer. It had an assortment of starters including; lobster wontons, fried sweet potatoes, potstickers, egg rolls, and fried tofu. Each came with their own sauce, which I loved. I loved being able to sample different appetizers, but the flavor was just lacking. The fried sweet potatoes were just friend sweet potatoes fries. The egg rolls were small and bland. I did not try the fried tofu as it was overcooked. The lobster wontons were delightful especially with the pineapple sauce. Next, I ordered chicken Pad Thai, level 1 spice. Typically when I order level 1 spicy it's still spicy but at Sunisa, it had zero spice. The Pad Thai was overly sweet. I was hoping for more or a spice/savory taste but was underwhelmed by the sweetness. It did however come out extremely hot, you could see the steam rolling off the noodles. This was my first visit to Sunisa's, and I had a great meal. Our server was friendly and fast, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the Tom-Ka Soup, which was extremely flavorful, and I had the Yellow Curry with chicken as my entree. It was equally flavorful with just the right amount of heat. This is not a fancy place, and there's not a lot going on in terms of décor. In appearance, it's pretty bare bones. They seem to do a big carryout business, but they do have several tables for customers who want to eat there. They don't have a bar, but they do serve bottled beer, with both imported and domestic choices. They also have juice, soda, tea and coffee. The food choices are varied, and the servings are generous. It was pretty quiet, only one other couple in the restaurant. The restaurant is pretty basic and needs some work as some of the chairs seats were ripped. We ordered the potstickers with Panang curry sauce as an appetizer. Next, we ordered the Moo Dang Fried Rice to share and our other orders were Panang curry, Spicy Basil Pad Kra Pow and the Chakey Beef. All the food was very good! The Chakey Beef was a little bland and I asked for some extra spice. The waiter, who did a good, job, brought the extra spice. I added it and then I thought the Chakey Beef was excellent. Came back for lunch and tried a couple of items: volcano chicken and drunken noodles (Pad Nam Kee) and forgot to take pictures before we ate them all. The volcano chicken is chicken breasts cooked in a clay pot with some dark soy - this dish was ok to me as it was a bit too salty and chicken was dry. On our previous visit, we tried the Kaorw Yum Nham Sod and I really like the complex flavors and different textures of this dish - crunchy fried rice balls, soft shredded chicken, crunchy salad mix and sweet & salty fish sauce mix. Cute little restaurant. Glad it was not crowded when we got there. We got a nice little spot in the corner. We started out with the Roti for appetizer. A flaky flatbread with yellow curry chicken dipping sauce. It's came out all warm and so yummy. I can eat this for snacks all day! We ordered the Tom Yum Chicken with shrimp as an add on to share. You can really taste the lemon grass and kaffir leaves flavor in the soup. My friend always gets the pad thai so I suggested getting the Pad Kee-Maow ( Drunken Noodle) I tried some of hers and it was really good. The sauce was delish. I got the Udon noodle beef. Mines was also good but I was looking for the bigger size udon noodle but it came out the smaller one. The bigger has more of the chewy texture that I'm used to back home but over all it was good. There was an explosion of taste from the first bite to the last. The only downside was I kept telling myself that I would take some home. First it was two huge shrimp and half the rice.
