No entry or indoor dining at China King during COVID times. The front door has been converted to an order window.

Pork fried rice and an egg roll were delivered quickly and hot for a pick-up order. Both were pretty average tasting. During COVID China King has no open dining room. In fact, there's no entry. The front door has been sealed off and converted to an order counter with a menu stuck to the side. Place your order at a sliding window in the door and it comes out a few minutes later. Clever.

    A6. Four Pieces Crab Rangoons

The beef with broccoli was awful. The beef was rubber like, broccoli barely cooked still very hard and my fried rice? The fried rice, I payed extra for, was disgusting. It's almost as if they put powdered yellow food coloring in it with a splash of plastic? The crab rangoons were all cream cheese and we had to ask for the red sweet sauce for them. The special curry rice noodle dish was the most edible. My partner and I had to fight for the bathroom the next couple days and have not been able to eat Chinese food since then, let alone even think about it. (It's been roughly 6 weeks) Avoid this place at all costs. $35 wasted and flushed down the toilet, if you know what I mean.

If you're wanting some fried rice, crab rangoon, wontons, moo goo gai pan, sweet and sour chicken, garlic chicken, or one of your other favorite Chinese dishes make sure to try China King!

Enjoyed the egg foo young and crab rangoon. The fried rice was best, not greasy and well made.

We were seated immediately, which we appreciated because we were tired and hungry. Since we already have our favorite dishes at Cate Zone, we knew exactly what to order as soon as our server came by. Our go‑to appetizer is always the beef tripe -- non‑spicy -- and it never disappoints. We always enjoy it with a bowl of rice, and the combination is incredibly comforting and flavorful. We also ordered the crisp shrimp with egg yolk, which is my 6‑year‑old son's absolute favorite. It's unbelievably tasty -- rich, crispy, and just out‑of‑this‑world good. For our last dish, we tried the crisp sautéed pork for the first time. This one didn't quite hit the mark for us. The flavor leaned sweet and salty with no spice, and it didn't have the same wow factor as the crisp shrimp we love so much. Still, it was worth trying something new. All our dishes came with a bowl of hot, steaming white rice, and everything arrived at our table in under 10 minutes -- their speed is impressive. The portions were generous, and we left completely full with leftovers to take home. Cate Zone continues to be one of our favorite spots, and experiences like this are exactly why we keep coming back.

As you can see in the photo, there were a decent number of pieces, and they were substantial. Broccoli was stir-fried perfectly, cooked with a slight crunch. The amount of sauce was suitable, enough to coat the food without being excessive. The sauce was not too thick, not runny, and not too salty. The rice was fine, and the portion was sufficient. The egg roll was crisp and not greasy. Food is served with a packet of sweet and sour sauce, a packet of soy sauce, and a packet of chili powder. Packaging -- food is served in a plastic bowl with a clear lid and placed a brown paper bag. Value -- excellent! The meal I ordered was a lunch special. You can choose: 1) one entree from 30 options 2) white or fried rice 3) 1 egg roll or 2 crab rangoon. The price for all of this is $8.75 before tax and tip. For $0.70 more, you can add hot and sour soup or egg drop soup. Or for $1 more you can add wonton soup. All this to say, you can get a great lunch for about $10. Service -- great! The owner is nice. The speed of service is outstanding. The time it takes to get your food is as fast -- or even faster--than at fast food restaurants. Ambiance -- good. Almost all customers will order for carryout, but you can eat in the restaurant if you want. There are 3 or 4 tables. There is a fridge, if you want to order soda. Everything is clean. If you are looking for fine dining or a date night, you might be disappointed. But otherwise, the interior is perfectly fine. I highly recommend Emperor China!

The popcorn chicken was crispy and perfectly seasoned, the stir-fry was delicious, and the sizzling pepper beef was easily one of the highlights -- incredibly flavorful and cooked perfectly. This was our first time trying ChiliSpot and it absolutely lived up to the recommendation. One of those places where you're already looking at the menu deciding what you want to try next time before you've even finished your meal. Fantastic food, great experience, and an easy 5 stars. For two people, this is my go to order:…read more *Deep fried handmade tofu with special sauce (17.95) *Sautéed lamb with cumin (19.95) *Storm fish fillet (19.95) The lamb has enough of the "wetness" and vegetables to eat and mix with the rice. The lamb pieces used to be small but they are huge now! Appreciate the owners taking the feedback. I think they make the tofu in house. They are huge thick soft pieces with enough crispness on the outside. It's a good introduction to how seriously Chinese people take tofu and how in other countries they have a huge variety of tofu, vs the select few we have in the U.S. And I used to be partial to the spicy fried fish at cate zone, but chilispot has upgrade this dish a lot. It's perfectly crispy and hot!!! Even if you don't like fish, it's a great dish and also makes for great leftovers. I know the fried chicken is popular but I find the chicken pieces are too small. Even with two heavy eaters, we still have leftovers for another meal
