The server/ cashier was very sweet, attentive and friendly. The cook was right there and made the Orange Chicken to order ( not enough in the buffet bowl). My husband liked the Orange Chicken better than the Mongolian Beef. I liked my Mushroom Chicken and Green Bean Pork with brown rice. Dishes are very mild- I suggest you add soy sauce and hot sauce as needed. A side bar of condiments and sauces would have been a really nice addition. Another plus- they have Boba Tea! read more

The entrees were delicious. I had the garlic chicken and Mongolian beef. The food was freshly made. Only thing I did not like was that they used spaghetti noodles as "chow mein". The taste was not good at all. I'm hoping they rethink their chow mein concept because other than that, the food was great. My brother had the fried rice and no complaints there. Great place to eat if you're ever in the area. Portions are great for the price. Orange chicken was nice, delicious, and crunchy. Mushroom chicken, string beans pork were all good. Staff was very nice. Only thing I will knock is the chow mein which was more like spaghetti instead of actual chow Mein noodles. I was walking by tonight looking for something to eat and happened to walk by the Asian Garden a few minutes after they had closed. The owner saw me and ask if I was hungry and told me there was nothing else open in the area. She then insisted that I take a bunch of food she was taking home. At first I said no, but she insisted again so I finally said yes. And I'm so glad I did! The food was delicious and filled with some extra love. Amazing to see such a random act of kindness. Good location next to national chain coffee. PROS: 1. Steamed brown rice option vs. OK fried rice vs. pasta noodles chow mein. If I had to use spahgetti noodles in place of chow mein, I would use Angel Hair pasta broken into 3s, and fry more onions, sesame oil, and red pepper with the pasta. Or, just also offer spaghetti sauce as well. Did not try the poke options. 2. Broccoli beef has good crisp broccoli in it and lots of it. 3. Biodegradable food containers. 4. Cornflower soup tastes like corn. 5. Star shaped crab puffs are made in house and really good--you must buy them in fives. CONS: 1. Food not kept warm enough in heating trays--this is actually a health code thing. 2. Garlic chicken is like sweet and sour chicken deep fried twice and I wonder where is the garlic. 3. No one sanitizes tables nor even leaves lysol wipes in case you want to do it yourself. and the same pen and surface and waitress hands are used for money as well as food between transactions which is not kosher even w/out COVID. 4. A little pricey. Mongolian dishes too heavy on black pepper, but that just could be batch variations as it seems the food is at least warmed and fried on site. Kenny and I went to my cousins restaurant to surprise her and the food that we ordered was amazing. Kenny got the combo #2 with broccoli beef and sweet and sour pork and garlic chicken with chow mein and fried rice. I got half order of a poke bowl, butter chicken and Kung pao chicken. Delicious and fresh Chinese food. Excellent customer service. I tried the chow mein, Kung pao chicken, and broccoli beef. They also gave us a couple of sesame balls to try which were yummy. The menu isn't very big so they don't have as many choices as some Chinese restaurants. However, the selections they do have are great. We're from Vacaville and stayed at the Best Western looking for a place to eat that was within walking distance. This place was just a few steps away from the side exit so it was perfect. The photos on the reviews don't look very good but everything looked great in person. The place was very clean, the servers were wearing masks and were very polite and friendly. We tried the poke bowls and they were very good. The hot and sour soup was good too. Not much food variety in the area so this place is a great choice if you don't feel like fast food or Mexican food. Would definitely eat here again the next time we visit. read more

Regular customer to the restaurant, will now no longer be going back. Upon my visit to the restaurant, I had a newer Hispanic lady serving my on the line. Most of the visit was pleasant, up until I made an order for Walnut Shrimp. See, with all the other foods, they have a place for hot holding. For the Walnut Shrimp, it sits up above the rest of the food, resting on a stainless steel nook, in a small Wok style pan. As a result, it can get cold and soggy fast, unless prepared fresh. So naturally, I make the request to have the Walnut Shrimp prepared fresh. The Hispanic lady serving me had some rebuttal, even though it was not her cooking the food. I still persisted with my request to have it prepared fresh. She had seemed frustrated, but asked the cook to make a fresh batch. Upon the arrival of the freshly prepared Walnut Shrimp, the Hispanic lady dumps the fresh batch with the old, and then proceeds to push aside the fresh batch, in order to fill the bowl with all of the old Walnut Shrimp. To show, I have included pictures of what I had received. The two pieces to the left of the bowl were the only fresh pieces, the rest was cold and soggy to the touch. Considering the food may have sat there longer than the recommended SERVsafe rest time for sitting food, I decided to throw it away. If the Asian women that own the restaurant had served me, it wouldn't have been an issue, since they have gladly did so before. Included is also a picture of the receipt. For the price I paid, a request for fresh food, shouldn't be an issue at all. Now, my money goes elsewhere. I do NOT recommend this restaurant, and will not direct others here either. read more
