The atmosphere is great, but the service and food together on this visit didn't impress me much. Overall, I think it's a good restaurant, but I haven't found anything that makes them original. Food: The hot & sour soup was normal and equivalent to any other place. Takoyaki was well-plated, but a bit squishy and not some beautiful piece of artistic seafood the way this dish is created. The Singapore noodles, as much as I wanted to like them, were a disappointment. They a) weren't spicy, b) didn't have the ingredients listed on the menu, c) didn't have the ingredients other Yelpers have shown in their pictures, and d) were a bit plain. Not bad, just plain. Environment: It's surprisingly elegant for the location in this strip mall. Beautiful decor and just nice inside. Service: Not memorable on my visit, especially as the restaurant wasn't too busy at the time. They didn't particularly go out of the way to give recommendations, but they did understand everything and served politely and with good timing. They take to-go orders all the way up until closing! They have some good deals on lunch specials so I wish I were in this area during the days. I would love to give this place a second shot based on other Yelp reviews. Was Leary when we pulled up on Saturday night at 7:30 and we were the only ones here. But saw a review on them at ANF, so let's try it. The decor is very nice, not what you would expect in a strip shopping center, very welcoming and great jazz music playing. Had wanton and miso soup then Kung Pao chicken and Hibachi Chicken. I adore this place. My family has been going here for years, it's always delicious and the service is warm and helpful. This is the place I take all my out of town guests to and recommend to my local friends. The food is fresh, and the vegetables are flavorful and plentiful. I have never had a bad dish. First time I went there was during the COVID-19 disaster. I ordered chicken fried rice with spring rolls. The rice itself was fresh along with the spring rolls but the chicken was very dry. This place was highly recommended by a coworker that's why I gave it a try. Asian kitchen also looks very cozy; I'd love to visit the place again under normal circumstances so I can enjoy the full experience of it. For the record, the staff was extremely friendly. I've been living in this area for about a year now and needed a new Asian restaurant. I stumbled across this cozy establishment a few months ago and I love it. So far I've indulged in the Shrimp and Chicken Pad Thai, chicken Lo Mein, basil rolls, spring rolls, hot and sour soup, duck and house special fried rice. Each dish has been hands down delicious. They are always pretty busy with dine in customers and Togo orders which for me is a good sign. The service is always A1. Your food is cooked to order so there is sometime a little wait but it's worth every minute. It's small but cozy, lots of seating and reservations are welcome. I love the fact they have an A for the health inspection and you can look directly into the kitchen from the dining room. The prices are fair for the quality and location. To start this place has spectacular interior design which is very upscale and gives the place. a very high end vibe and atmosphere. Appears small but there is tons of seating on the inside. It's dark and the lighting is very dim. Food wise this place is okay and I would say slightly above average compared to the competition in the area. The menu is on par with what you would find in most Chinese restaurant of the sort. Don't expect to find anything new here. Should be able get all the basics like General Tsos chicken and Egg Drop soup. Overall this place isn't bad at all. For the average customer they will get great service and food. Let me start off by saying that if you want authentic Chinese food this place might not tickle your fancy. In my opinion it's very good, but it's Americanized Chinese food. I have dined inside, and I have also ordered take-out. I can't say enough great things about the service. They are incredibly attentive and friendly. I've been warmly greeted each time. It's located in a strip near Kroger. The interior is pretty great. It's a little dark inside which I think adds to the ambiance. There are a lot more tables than you'd think just by looking at the restaurant. Since it's in a strip parking is never an issue. Both times I've ordered the Honey Sesame Chicken (basic, I know), and I'm not sure I'll stray from it. I'm a sucker for sesame chicken, and they make a mean one. It's $12, but I always have half leftover for a second meal. I've never eaten lunch here, but they have a great lunch special that's either $6 or $7. Located in a shopping center near Kroger, you wouldn't expect the inside compared to the outside. The decor is really nice when you walk in, and the employees greet you right away. They have good lunch specials on one side of their menu, but the server was so quick and in a rush to get our order, I didn't get to view the menu on the back side. Which has a lot more options. I'll order from that menu next time. Our lunch portions were pretty big. The side salad with ginger dressing was great! Lots of options for vegetarians, so we got the Thai Basil tofu with brown rice and the Kung Pao vegetables with brown rice. The Thai basil flavor was great! Although too much green beans for my liking. Large tofu pieces, which was good to fill you up. The Kung Pao needed more flavor. It was quite bland, as the sauce goes directly to the bottom of the dish,so the vegetables weren't covered up enough. But I liked all the vegetables, a nice variety!
