Very friendly and the foot is great. If you went to UGA 20 years ago it is the same food.

I have never been here when there were more than just a couple of tables seated in the restaurant. Not sure if it's because of the location or what, but I love everything about this place. First of all it's beautiful inside. Warm dark tones and modern. This place can be classy at night I'm sure. The staff are very friendly. We come here for the sushi although there are other offerings. The sushi is skillfully made and the items are unique. You know the sushi restaurants that have the "standard" rolls you can find anywhere? This isn't it. We got two rolls but honestly I don't remember what they had in them. But they were pretty and very fresh! We also got the Bang Bang Shrimp which was excellent! The sauce is on the side so you actually get to taste the shrimp and the sauce had a nice Kick. Perfectly fried, well seasoned and fresh. We loved this!! If you can find this place, definitely give it a try! GET HERE for the Bang Bang Shrimp!

I can the out of control sushi and it was amazing. The smokiness and flavor of the fish was just right. The rest of the table had some grilled salmon and ramen and all of which received raving reviews. The dark look in the restaurant makes for a lovely spot for any sort of celebration or date night. Service was just alright - a little situation of unhappy employees and small asks going unnoticed but nothing that hurt the experience ! We will be back

This is not your typical sushi restaurant as evident from its long sushi bar to its upstairs private booths. We were one of the first to arrive for a weekday happy hour and enjoyed trying various sushi, miso cod, and cold Japanese beer. We wish that frenetic Lily's was not the next sushi exploration stop on our progressive activity as we were spoiled by Edo's tranquil environment and quality food at Edo. The hamachi kama yaki was a lovely presentation of a very large grilled collar. Our request to modify the orange blossom roll for regular tuna instead of spicy tuna and no mayo was not a problem either. The jalapeno yellow tail roll was generous portion and again- hold the mayo please! Very pleasant and non rushed service. Only odd note were the photos on the menu- guess that was needed before diners became more familiar with the cuisine. Plenty of parking in its private parking lot in the N. Point shopping area. Looking forward to our next visit!

The sushi rolls were made with rice that looked more like brown rice than traditional white sushi rice. When we asked our server about it, he explained that it was "caramelized rice" prepared with vinegar. Whatever the process was, it completely distorted the flavor of the rolls. The food also looked nothing like the photos, and the portions were surprisingly small. My lychee martini tasted like a lemon-drop martini and had to be returned and remade twice. Overall, the food and drinks simply were not good. For a Japanese restaurant, the quality and flavor of the sushi were especially disappointing. We would not return.

Holcomb Bridge Road is just always busy, so give yourself a few minutes to work your way from 400 over here. They have their own parking lot, no issues there. Our server was ChingHan, and she was very helpful and attentive. She noted that they run a lunch special for $19.99 that has a lot of sushi nigiri, rolls, and soups. Not too bad! I ended up getting a volcano roll, and spicy tuna roll, and a shrimp tempura roll. I had a bowl of miso soup and a cucumber salad. My buddy went à la carte and had octopus, hamachi and tuna along with miso soup, iced tea and strawberry ice cream. His meal was almost double the AYCE cost. Not a big deal, he doesn't eat rice. ChingHan also said that for dinner after 4 PM, they run an AYCE sashimi special nightly. I'll have to bring other people here to eat sometime! I peeked at the regular menu and it looks like they offer a lot of tasty items. But a $20 lunch special these days can take you a long way. I'm still full! Support small businesses!

The avocado in the sushi rolls was black and rotten. Sushi should be cold I assume, this came out pretty warm not even cool. We told the server that the food was inedible. And we would pay ala cart for what we did eat which was one sushi roll and tempura vegetables. They still had the audacity to charge us almost $80. We were told the price would be adjusted on our check. She brought the receipt and it was $77. They lie and steal and have horrible food.

They know gluten allergy and tell you what you can have. I have gluten intolerance not celiac just for reference but I do get very sick when I eat gluten and have NOT gotten sick here. Today was the first time we did a pick up order. I was worried bc I made the order online and put gluten free in comments for my specific rolls and then also noted it in the notes part while checking out. Y'all!! The amount of care and attention to my rolls I ordered was perfection and above and beyond. They wrote on the boxes and put gf soy sauce and separated spicy mayo and everything was labeled!!!! I didn't worry AT ALL!! If you're gf, you know what freedom that is eating something you KNOW they took care to make gf. Everything was delicious and they've got a new hold on me! We will definitely be getting takeout here (and eating here) more often. Note: it's separate but attached to a gas station but don't let that deter you as it's so good and the people are just so friendly.

You probably know places like these are generally good finds. :-) No exception here. It's kind of wild what they can do in their tiny kitchen. Aside from sushi, you can get stuff like hibachi, noodles, etc. I went with several rolls and vegetable tempura. Everything was good though not notably exceptional. However, the real gem here is the price point ... which hit as *reasonable* by today's inflation standards. Interior dining space only ... and that isn't much to speak of, but it's functional and holds the stream of customers they get. It seems like they do a lot of carryout orders. Anyway, it's a spot worth checking out if you haven't been.
