The place is usually slow as there seems to not be a lot of customers; however, they get things done pretty fast. Try their garlic fries!! It's always a must for us. My partner really enjoyed the Chinese takeout food, much better than the Cajun style food. Cons: The large an overwhelming menu meant that not everything is great tasting. We dined in for lunar new year. Our server was really affable and welcoming. He checked on us multiple times and met our dining needs. The gumbo was delicious and very flavorful. Surprisingly, better than most places in the Sac area. It didn't bother me that there was only a small portion of steamed rice as we had other seafood items to feast on. I love the fried Dungeness crab with salt and pepper. Definitely ordering these 2 items on my next visit. We also ordered the #3 combo with snow crab, shrimp, muscles, and clams. I posted a review about 12 months ago & I had to do another one. Just like the first time, the food was super delicious and I did not know there was a location in Roseville! I haven't been to the Roseville one, I will post a review about that one when I do. I went with my sister again & we were not disappointed, the staff was super friendly per usual and really took care of us! The restaurant was super clean and spotless. We went during the start of lunch and it was not busy at all, we were literally the only ones in there which was awesome because we didn't have to wait for our food. The onion rings came with ranch dressing and I was able to finish about half of the basket for dine-in, thinly battered and sweet! I saved most of my room for the salt and pepper pork chop, and I ate all but 2 pieces -- they were huge! The Flavor Fusion sauce went well with the pork and rice too. I ended up taking home leftover pork chop, rice, sauce, onion rings, and wontons for another sitting. The staff even kindly packed it all in to-go bags for us in styrofoam clamshells with parchment dividers, including the dipping sauces (dine-in uses paper cups, takeout plastic with lids)! With the discount, the wontons came out to only $6 and the onion rings were $5.25. The pork chops were $13, the rice $2.50, and the side of sauce $4. So so much food for the price. Visited this place on a Sunday afternoon for a late lunch. Decently busy but no wait which was nice. They had the football games playing which is a plus. We order a combo 2 which came with sooo many shrimp, clams, oysters, crawfish, potatoes, sausage, corn, and boiled eggs. A group of friends and I met up for dinner at Asian N Cajun one night. Parking wasn't fun that night but I ended up finding a spot a little ways down and walked over. Upon arriving part of the group was already there and we were seated immediately. While we waited for the others we took a look at our menus. I wasn't feeling seafood that day so I decided to get the chicken wings and some garlic noodles. Once everyone was there and everyone had a chance to take a look at the menu, we ordered. First they brought us some shrimp chips, which were super warm. So gooooood. Getting into conversations, I don't even know how long it took for our food to start coming out. It was pretty fast though. My food was super fresh and them garlic noodles were so fire. Everyone else's food looked good too and it seems like everyone thoroughly enjoyed their meals. I previously tried this restaurant and got the #3 boil. Their sauce is bombdotcom. I would literally use that sauce on everything if I could. Vincent told us that this place was the original out of all of them. Some of the other ones that they have around are owned by different people now. And I have to say my sister has been two different ones and she said they are not the same. She will drive all the way from Vacaville just to come to this one. That's why she took us here for my son's birthday and it was amazing. I don't even eat crab or shellfish or anything like that. My mum and my sister and my son though love it. I had chicken wings and cheese sticks and rangoons and they were delicious and they devoured everything. As you can see there was nothing left. The lemon pepper wings were good but if you order from the Roseville location they are in more of a tempura batter and at this location they are not. I ordered the lunch mushroom chicken because the picture online showed it with a small portion of rice, chicken mushroom carrots and zucchini but what I got was mushy overcooked rice, a bunch of undercooked halved mushrooms and a few pieces of chicken. Wow, beyond impressed with the service here. But also the food was great! This spot is able to accommodate for big groups. We had a table for 10 and we were quickly seated. The server offered to split our check before we ordered to make it easier for us. I ordered their 1 lb of shrimp at market price for $15. Usually I'm a mild or medium spicy girl, but I could've definitely gone for hot here (maybe even xtra hot!). The shrimps were all fresh and sooo sweet and well cooked and juicy. Some appetizers we tried include sweet potato fries, cajun fries, and salt and pepper wings. All tasted great and would recommend. The garlic noodles were good too, but it did taste a little over salted to me. Our server was super patient and nice to our large group. The owners, Mui(?) and Vincent, also came by to say hi and offered us some of their new dishes for us to try. They were soooo nice and talked us through some of their dishes. My friend's order was too spicy for her and they offered to get that fixed for her. End of our meal our server packed our extra take home for us. That's not common and usually not expected but just shows how they go above and beyond with their service.
