I called to place an order on June 29, 2026, at 5:12 PM. When I asked the employee on the phone to repeat a protein option, she huffed, told me she already said them, and said I could look online instead. When I asked if she could please just read them once more, she hung up on me. I called back that day and the following day, to try and speak with a manager or owner, but I kept getting the runaround on when they would be in. As a customer who has frequented this restaurant for over a decade, this level of blatant disrespect and lack of accountability is unacceptable. So I was excited to try the habanero ones. Disappointed due to the fact there was no heat at all. None. My bf doesn't like spicy food. He even could eat them and said there wasn't spice to them. Brought my family from out of town. It was our first time there and definitely weren't disappointed. They had delicious food and everything was seasoned nice. So, when I decided to order this awesome food again (and again, for delivery) I opted to call Lotus Fusion first, sing their praises, and make the following suggestions: 1. Pack the Broccoli Beef in the same containers as the Won Ton Soup (tight with no leaks). 2. Please include a receipt (I'm old school and still require a paper trail). Well? Success! All the same positives as my first review, with a few added points: 1. Most too often, ordering Broccoli Beef (from anywhere) can have one singing "Where's the Beef?" Well, not here. There is an awesome about of Beef in with the Broccoli. 2. Same with Won Ton soup, often times, plenty of greens and soup, and a few Won Tons swimming around in there somewhere. Again, not here! Tons of Won Tons along with the greens and generous slices of Pork (NOTE: This is just the traditional Won Ton Soup, not Wor Won Ton or other versions). So, there it is. First off, the staff were nice and friendly and took our phone order the day before. We had a big order to place, so they were easily accommodating and made the transaction ran smoothly. When we've arrived everything was ready for us and on time. They've included all the silverware and condiments for us in big boxes for us to carry out. The food was just...ok. Nothing special to any of the dishes we had ordered. We've ordered a few items so everyone in the office could have some variety. The general chicken was good. The broccoli shrimp could use more shrimp, we've got a whole lot of broccoli! The Mongolian beef could use a bit more spice, they gave us a ton of onions and not much beef. I just tried this restaurant for the first time because the other restaurant I typically order from does not offer delivery. The food is very flavorful. The House Special Chow Mein has shrimp, beef and chicken. Also, I am pretty picky about how Beef Broccoli tastes. The beef broccoli at some other restaurants is just an embarrassment. Lotus Fusion Backstory, my girlfriend and I have been searching for a decent (not even good), Chinese restaurant in Natomas for awhile now. The last three that we have tried adjacent to El Camino have failed miserably in that regard. I am not exaggerating in that the deli counter Chinese at Raley's is better than any of these places. Well, last night I got a huge craving for Chinese food. My girlfriend and I debated about what to cook for an hour and finally we just started looking at reviews for restaurants. I know I've glanced over reviews of Lotus Fusion before, but because it had both Japanese and Chinese food, and some mixed reviews, I never gave it a fair chance. Well, after debating between them and the more upscale dim sum place we've been wanting to try, we opted for Lotus Fusion. We ordered through "BeyondMenu," and that didn't go very smoothly. It certainly is not streamlined like DoorDash is. The upside however is that they don't raise the menu prices like DD does, and there was no delivery fee. Win-win in my book. However, this caused confusion once the delivery guy arrived as he had no clue we had already paid with this app. Afterwards, I realized I should have just called the order in directly. Most places don't have their own delivery guys, but Lotus Fusion does which is something I appreciate. Anyway, on to the order! Mongolian Beef: This is a dish that I order at every single Chinese restaurant going back the last 18 years since living in San Francisco (shows my age). Lotus Fusion did not disappoint in this regard! The last three Chinese places I have ordered from, the "Mongolian" Beef is severely lacking in spice and depth of flavor. Worse, is that they don't even use whole chili peppers; they simply red pepper flakes. What a travesty! That isn't what I expect from Mongolian Beef. But I digress. The Mongolian Beef at Lotus Fusion was delicious. There were lots of red chiles (yay!), the meat was tender and flavorful and there were plenty of onions. The only thing it needed were the little crunchy fried noodles on the bottom . Most places seem to omit these sadly. Also, the sauce was too oily. But overall, it was a solid and good dish. Sweet and Sour Chicken: Finally, a place that knows how to cook this "American Chinese" dish. Yes, I know it is about as far from traditional as you get, but it's something that I really like; and it brings back fond childhood memories. The other places in the area that I've ordered it from have executed this dish POORLY! I won't name and shame, but one place didn't even bread it properly, and they also pan cooked it. It was AWFUL. Another had the most off tasting sauce, and weird pieces of meat (bleh!). Lotus Fusions version was on point. It was fried and battered as it should be and held it's texture in a to go container. The meat was good quality, albeit a bit on the dry side - but I didn't care one bit! All I wanted was a fried dish, with sweet sauce, pineapple, peppers and onion mixed in. Lotus Fusion delivered on my wish. It was really good. I'll likely try the pork next time, or Sesame chicken since they executed the fried aspect correctly. Nice job. Pork Chow Mein: This dish weighed like 3 pounds. It was A LOT of noodles. Overall the noodles were flavorful and not too oily or salty. The BBQ pork was the only negative in that, well, it was hard to find. I only found a few morsels of the actual caramelized BBQ pork. Not a huge upset considering how much food there was. But I would like to see more balance of bean sprouts and cabbage mixed in. There was probably enough to serve 4-5 people, so not much to complain about. Overall, the meal was satisfying. I was stuffed. Not because there was a lot of food, but because it was delicious, and I WANTED to keep eating it until I was essentially in a food coma.
