I'm sitting here for the fourth day, still without AC. And the guy who came to fix it today clearly wanted to get out of there ASAP. First he looked at the wrong AC unit and when we said it's the other one that isn't working he said he was only called for one unit (???) He didn't have really any solid answers on what's going on. There was a lot of "could be, I'm not sure,"s. Made me wonder if they even sent the right guy. They do this thing where they don't actually fix it and then say just wait two hours and it should be okay so they can leave and not answer the phone when you call later to say it still doesn't work. They charged us over $500 dollars to be in the same place we were before they came. With no AC in 100 degree weather. And of course, they can't be reached. I would go as far as to say this company is a scam. And if someone send you their way you need to be weary of that company as well (American home shield is one of them) I wish I could leave a zero star review. read more

Communication was extremely poor. They rarely answered their phone, and although they encouraged customers to text, responses often took hours--if they came at all. Overall, the lack of timely communication made the experience frustrating. I would recommend considering a larger or more organized company that has more responsive customer service. read more

My A/C went out and ASolution Finder was assigned to me by my warranty company. Within an hour of assignment, they called to schedule an appointment and came out the next day at the beginning of my service window. Communication with the scheduler was friendly and efficient. Jason, the technician, arrived on time. He was friendly, professional, identified the problem within 30 minutes and was able to locate the necessary part. After retrieving the part from Austin (I am in Georgetown), he was able to complete the repair in less than an hour (same day). Not only did he repair the A/C, he gave me some tips on maintaining the longevity of my unit, what to expect regarding common maintenance, and lifespan, as well as a crash course on the digital thermostat I inherited when I bought the house. Above & Beyond. I will recommend A Solution Finder to all of my friends and family. My A/C went out and I specifically reached out to A Solution Finder based on the quality of their reviews. They have such good reviews that my expectations were high but I must say that Jason and the A Solution Finder team exceeded them greatly. When Jason showed up at our house we immediately starting getting positive vibes from him. He seemed to go out of his way to reassure us, teach us, and he was extremely respectful (little things like noting he was happy for us to observe his work if it made us more at ease, wearing shoe covers inside to keep our floors and carpets clean, proactively answering any question about our AC unit and ventilation system that we had -- and we had several unrelated to the immediate issue at hand). He went above and beyond, not only diagnosing the issue with our Air Conditioner (ultimately successfully), but setting clear and honest expectations with us about the most conservative possible outcomes, so we could understand the worst-case scenario scope and plan for that, even if a better outcome was more likely. I greatly appreciated this because it let my wife and I plan conservatively, then when Jason's fix ultimately ended up being less work, it felt like finding (a lot) of money in the laundry! The bottom line is this: My wife and I have a newborn baby and we were really stressing about the situation when our AC unit went out. Jason called me after I left my review. He explained to me that he was going to have done the job a bit differently. He also told me that he couldn't have done the job for the price I got even if we were personal friends. He took his time and explained everything after I sent the pictures of the job I got for the lower price. I don't think he is a scammer after all. I think maybe I got REALLY lucky in finding someone that is that less expensive. I can't speak on his work but he seems like a nice guy. He also told me if I called 10 different HVAC guys I would have gotten 10 different estimates. I also found out in all of this that many HVAC companies give free estimates. I paid 100 to Jason but that might be because I was using a home warranty company who I just canceled. read more

Jason installed a lemon of an HVAC in 2018. It has never cooled properly. He had to spend 6+ hours repairing it only three months after installing it. It has never cooled when the temperature gets above 95F. They are now refusing to come look at an AC that doesn't work properly and never has and are claiming it's my fault for not having hounded them with complaints when they refused to fix it properly in July 2018 when they rebuilt half of it! Jason of Asolution Finder did a great job on my American Home Shield repair today. Because of the recent hot spell, they were so busy that they came on a Sunday and arrived promptly when scheduled. After I explained the symptoms of my problem, he told me what he suspected, and how he would check for it. He then did a very thorough inspection, inside and out, replaced the part, and showed me what had gone wrong (which was exactly what he described it might me). Home warranty company sent him out for an under sink leak. They denied covering it and he quoted me $600 for a basket strainer, disposal replacement, and pvc drain pipe replacement. I asked if he could do it for $450. He thought about it and said no. I bought a disposal for $108 inc tax, and paid a guy $60 for the labor. Basket strainer was fine. One gasket on the pvc drain pipe needed replacement He was polite and on time. read more

The technician who arrived was polite, knowledgable, efficient, and took the time to explain the problem to me so I could choose the best repair choices. I also wanted to install a new thermostat while he was here and he had one on the truck that matched my existing thermostat on the upstairs system. All the work was fast, clean, and as expected.
