This practice engages in high-pressure sales tactics and appears far more interested in profit than in patient care. I deeply regret not reading the reviews beforehand -- many others have had similar experiences, and I now understand why. Both my adult son and I were targeted with what I can only describe as scare tactics. Despite my son's clean bill of health from a reputable dentist just six months prior, he was told he had serious gum disease and urgently needed multiple expensive procedures -- including deep cleanings, laser treatments, and diagnostic tests -- none of which were previously deemed necessary. He left confused, alarmed, and out of pocket for one of the deep cleanings that they managed to convince him he needed. Wanting to give them the benefit of the doubt, I returned myself. The exact same playbook was used on me: dire warnings about the condition of my gums, an overwhelming list of treatments, and a price tag in the thousands even with insurance. I declined all upsells and requested a standard cleaning -- which was then performed carelessly and in haste. Several teeth were missed entirely during both the cleaning and polishing. It was clear that because I refused the costly add-ons, they no longer valued my time or care. I told the dentist that I was very disappointed and she said she would continue to work on me. I allowed her to work a few minutes longer but it was still evident I was not receiving even a moderately thorough cleaning. I have never in my life had a dental cleaning that was done so quickly and haphazardly. This kind of behavior is not only unprofessional -- it's unethical. Patients deserve honest evaluations and transparent care, not manipulative sales strategies. I will be filing a formal complaint with the Texas State Board of Dental Examiners (TSBDE) and hope others do the same. Please protect your health and your wallet -- stay away from this practice.

I have tried more than 5 dentist offices probably. I finally decided to give Arlington Dental Clinic a try as it was close to me. Here are a few of my points as to why I immediately felt comfortable: 1. The Dental Hygienist has been with the office for more than 25 years. That is unheard of nowadays. 2. The front desk ladies are actually happy and honest. 3. The dentist assistant is probably the nicest person I've ever met. She's also excellent at her job. Let's discuss the dentist now. Dr. Edalat made me feed comfortable immediately. Usually whenever I visit a dentist I feel as if they just make up things to have to do, but Dr. Edalat actually took her time to show me everything going on with my teeth and what actually needs to be done and what does not. Dr. Edalat did a procedure on me for a tooth that was giving me pain and it was seemless. Loved how she handled the procedure and I was not price gouged. The crown she put in does not even fit. The partial is a total joke. She even told me it is costing her money when they sent it back to be sized right. It never fit . Got a 2nd opinion today. He knows I have " white Coat " and goes out of his way to just Greet me in his dress shirt . My blood pressure gets high and he just works with me on it . I know this is long but you MUST go here to believe this guy is real . He is a Unicorn ! The only dentist like him . He does great work , he wants you to be comfortable and he wants you to be proud of your teeth. The…read moreappointment process was fast and efficient as I filled out an online request and was contacted minutes later to set up an appointment. They were able to fit me in the same day. The new patient paperwork is available online to fill out prior to your initial visit. I had already used up my x-ray benefits and the front desk was very quick to discuss with me what the charge would be with insurance. After I was seated in the exam chair, which is comfortable by the way, I was greeted by one of the doctors to discuss my toothache symptoms. Dr. Lewellen detailed my x-ray scans and described everything in simple terms as well as the necessary action plans needed to keep my teeth in good shape. Unfortunately, I needed a root canal in order to relieve my sensitivity and they were able to fit me in the same day. Dr. Budhani (the dentist who owns the facility) was brought over to perform the procedure and was very informative and provided a calm atmosphere before they began the procedure. Both doctors and assistants were professional and made me feel at ease with the procedure and continually checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing alright. This is a fantastic establishment staffed by professionals who truly work hard to make their patients feel at ease and comfortable. I'm so happy with the work done and would gladly recommend Drs. Budhani and Lewellen for anyone seeking a dentist who genuinely cares about his/her patients!

I'm out $300 now because my insurance notified me they, in fact, won't cover the crown. This is very poor practice on the part of the provider. Make sure you ask if a procedure is covered by your insurance before you let the dentist do anything! And set up a payment plan in writing beforehand, too! My dentist did not offer a payment plan! Some people don't take all the necessary steps in a process. I've had good experiences here otherwise, but I'll be much more careful. This is shady on their part.

My previous dentist no longer takes my insurance so that is why I was changing offices. Upon check in the receptionist was not that friendly and was not even interested in the fact that I had a secondary dental insurance. Yes I know my appointment was on a Saturday and most insurances are closed, but thought she could have it to follow up on the next business day. Once the assistant took me back he seemed like he had no idea why I was there. Apparently they thought I was just coming for a second opinion for the bridge. Got that straight or so I thought. We then proceeded to go do X-rays and he kept going out of the room. Then the front desk person came back asking me questions as to why I was there. She again said the online appointment said for second opinion. Finally was seen by the dentist who seemed very friendly and helpful. He gave me his assessment of how we would proceed, but would need to speak with the lab to clarify the best option for me. Then upon checking out the front desk person stated they would need to contact my insurance the following Monday, which was Memorial Day and I knew insurance would be closed. So I left and was told the office would contact me about my further treatment once they spoke with my insurance (they needed to see if this would be considered new or if I needed prior authorization since another dentist had started the bridge work). I knew I would wait a few days to give them time to call my insurance. I waited until later that week and tried to call the office to see what they found out from my insurance. I did not reach a person as the message said they were all busy, but would return my call. We are now at June 10th and I still have NOT heard one word from them. I guess they do not need my business so I will seek treatment elsewhere. I felt like they thought I was bothering them by being there. Do not go there if you want to be treated as a person. Once again the dentist was nice, but the staff lacked any compassion. I would not go here unless this was the only place in the world to go to.
