I had a wonderful experience at this facility (as good as a dental visit can be, that is). The appointment process was fast and efficient as I filled out an online request and was contacted minutes later to set up an appointment. They were able to fit me in the same day. The new patient paperwork is available online to fill out prior to your initial visit. I had already used up my x-ray benefits and the front desk was very quick to discuss with me what the charge would be with insurance. After I was seated in the exam chair, which is comfortable by the way, I was greeted by one of the doctors to discuss my toothache symptoms. Dr. Lewellen detailed my x-ray scans and described everything in simple terms as well as the necessary action plans needed to keep my teeth in good shape. Unfortunately, I needed a root canal in order to relieve my sensitivity and they were able to fit me in the same day. Dr. Budhani (the dentist who owns the facility) was brought over to perform the procedure and was very informative and provided a calm atmosphere before they began the procedure. Both doctors and assistants were professional and made me feel at ease with the procedure and continually checked on me throughout the procedure to make sure I was doing alright. This is a fantastic establishment staffed by professionals who truly work hard to make their patients feel at ease and comfortable. I'm so happy with the work done and would gladly recommend Drs. I went in to get a crown and my dentist failed to pre -approve that it was qualified with my insurance before doing the procedure. I was assured it likely wouldn't be a problem. I'm out $300 now because my insurance notified me they, in fact, won't cover the crown. This is very poor practice on the part of the provider. Make sure you ask if a procedure is covered by your insurance before you let the dentist do anything! And set up a payment plan in writing beforehand, too! My dentist did not offer a payment plan! Some people don't take all the necessary steps in a process. I've had good experiences here otherwise, but I'll be much more careful. This is shady on their part. read more

I am on tour with a band and will not be home for another couple of months so I made an appointment at Amazing Dental in Arlington, TX on a tour stop in that city. The appointment scheduling process was simple along with the ability to provide all my information in advance through their website. I only had to complete a pharmacy questionnaire and consent form through a tablet upon arrival. My reason for needing the appointment is that I have a mucocele inside my lower lip. Sounds nasty, but it happens to be sac that builds up fluid due to trauma to the area. In my case, biting the area while eating. It does not hurt, but is annoying, and looks kinda gross. After that, I was brought into one of the many rooms for an examination by Dr. Budhani. He is one of the kindest dentists I've ever met. He listened to my concerns and educated me on my options. As I walked through the practice, I noticed the entire staff appeared happy, which lended itself to a positive, comforting, and calming atmosphere. I'm glad I got to pay a visit to Amazing Dental. Ashley did a great job welcoming her in and was gentle and patient with her as she did her cleaning. Good dental experience. The last time I went to get my teeth cleaned at my old dentist it took an hour and a half and I was not going back. This was the second time it had happened. I found Amazing Dental via Yelp and liked it had Saturday appointments. They only have one Saturday a month but I got it scheduled. We did x-rays and a cleaning. The doctor explains everything well m. Both the doctor and hygienist make sure you are comfortable. They were efficient. Let me star of by saying this was such an easy experience. After calling many places with payment questions, this was the most reasonable place along with good reviews for out of packet clients. This place is super cute and clean. Staff was very welcoming & polite. They used technology I had never even seen before. Loved how Dr Budhani took the time to introduce himself. He has been the only dentist to ever sit down and actually explain how everything works and should look. Must add he had visual representation of everything which helped back up everything he mention with pictures. Okay... I was sort of terrified to go to the dentist. Not like boohoo crying/I'm afraid of pain/I have dentist nightmares sort of scared. I can handle the numbing shots if I must. What I was afraid of was the whole "I haven't been to the dentist in like 5 years and I can't afford the 18 cavities I probably have by now." I was also scared that the dentist and his assistants would think I'm totally disgusting for not going to the dentist in so long. But I brush my teeth, I swear! However, according to Dr. Aamir Budhani, due to genetics or my eating habits or the tap water I grew up with, my teeth are just fine. HALLELUJAH (and I don't even drink water). I had 1 loose filling (that is definitely over a decade old) that needed re-filled, and of course a general cleaning, but other than that, I luckily have pretty healthy enamel and gums for the time being. Thank the tooth gods. This office is small, clean, and very comfortable. First I was taken back to get X-rays done of my teeth. They even let me keep in all of my earrings and nose rings which was awesome because they're a pain (literally and figuratively) to remove and put back in. An assistant and a trainee took care of my X-rays, which was short and painless of course. Then, Dr. Budhani pulled up my X-rays on a TV screen in front of my little chair and he very clearly went over what they all meant. He showed me the different layers of my teeth/enamel, where my old filling was popping out, and then explained to me exactly how he'd take care of it. A receptionist brought me the itemized bill, which went over in detail what my insurance covered and what I would owe after a routine cleaning and 1 filling. It was nice to have everything calculated upfront in black and white (right in front of me) before I committed to doing anything or paying. Lovely! Dr. Budhani gave me a numbing shot for my filling and then a couple more shots for the cleaning (just because my bottom front teeth are really sensitive). They're very nice and patient here; willing to accommodate you if you're nervous or feel any pain at all. We all had to sit and wait about 5-7 minutes for my second shot to numb my mouth properly, so the dentist, the assistant, and I watched/made fun of the Kardashians in the meantime! I actually had fun at the dentist (WHAT) and felt very at home and comfortable. I 100% highly recommend Amazing Dental. Dr. Budhani and his staff are incredibly professional but still laid back, fun, and enjoyable. I never felt uncomfortable or like I was being swindled out of money, and everything was explained to me so clearly throughout the entire process. I appreciate that! Ahhh, the dentist *sigh*. Such a horrible necessity! I remeber going to the dentist as a child and absolutely hating it, I remember going to the dentist about 2 months ago for a cleaning and completely hated it! When I get my teeth checked on and cleaned I am SUPER cautious of them afterwards (mainly because I do not have insurance and have to pay out of pocket). Well, one horrible day my front tooth decides to give out and chips! YES! CHIPS! I was in shock! I immediately took out my nifty iphone and searched for a place! I am alive! I am alive! I survived the dentist. I am always afraid of a new dentist. I have been sticking to the same dentist the past five or so years, and I never stray away. But just as everyone else....I still put off pain till the last freaking minute! I never learn. Ugh! I had to see Dr. Budhani on an emergency visit when I traveled back home. My tooth pain got out of control. I thought my filling came out or something. I just felt this huge hole. No BC powder or Orajel would help the pain. I did not have a choice at this point. Dr. Budhani and his team were so compassionate and empathetic to my concerns at every single moment! Not to mention they were observant of my body language as I clenched the chair. LOL. I'm a Science teacher so I thought it was especially cool for him to go over the X-rays in detail. He's so kind too! He wants to make sure you're comfortable. His staff is so sweet, from the front desk to the hygienists. He also won't give you a guilt trip over not going to the dentist in 4 years.... Ahem.... I've been a patient with Dr. Budhani since he started his business at North Collins and Green Oaks. I moved up to DFW area in 2008 and since then, it was so hard to find a dentist to replace my old one back in Houston. But I found him! Dr. Budhani is very patient and down-to-earth. He explains the x-rays or pictures he takes of my teeth in ways I can understand. He's also very skilled. I broke a 14-year old bracket on the back of my front tooth and when he was done fixing it, I could barely tell anything was glued on my tooth. Regarding his staff and assistants, EVERYONE is nice. I haven't met anyone who was rude or impatient. And again, everyone is skilled at what they do. I never have to wait long to pay. I never have to wait long to be checked in. I never have to wait for anything! It's great especially since I'm a parent on-the-go. Regarding his office, it is very clean and high-tech. There are bottled waters for the guests. The bathroom is clean and spotless. There are TV's at every station so you can watch TV while you get your teeth cleaned. I'm not sure why anyone would give this business less than 5 stars. From the service to the technology to the comfort level of his patients, everything is impeccable. I referred this office to my husband and he loved his experience here. read more

I really liked the professionalism of all the staff. On my previous experience for teeth cleaning I was in a lot of pain.
