i'm mindblown, in the worst way. my appointment was rushed through with because it was a Friday. the "dentists" here told me my tooth decay is so severe they "have to remove every tooth", and i will have to pay out of pocket for dentures (i'm on Masshealth, that was a lil scammy) and for further context, i'm 22 years old, so emotionally that was rough and they just watched me cry and proceeded to roll their eyes. meanwhile; another dentist told me i'm able to get crowns. do not trust Aspen Dental, they're money hungry, unethical and probably not even certified at this point. read more

Adding on to the one star reviews... I scheduled and confirmed an appointment as a NEW CUSTOMER for 11:15am, and was asked to arrive 15 minutes early at 11:00 for some NEW CUSTOMER paperwork, which I did. Upon my arrival, I was told that they "tried calling to move me up" even though this was untrue and I had spoken to someone the day prior to confirm the appointment. I then asked if they were unexpectedly busy and if the wait would be very long. The employee's response was "No, we're not really busy, but everyone takes lunch at 12 so you can't get your teeth cleaned until 12:30pm." You see, everyone in that office takes a lunch break at 12pm, so having a new customer's appointment scheduled for 11am means they have to wait 90 minutes, until after lunch, to get a teeth cleaning. No big deal, I have several hours to dedicate to a teeth cleaning... **I'm fully aware that many medical offices like this take a set lunch break, however the 1) lack of attention to detail when scheduling customers and 2) lack of remorse for wasting someone's day is appalling. I was never given an apology of any kind, and when I said I could not stay for the next several hours the response was "ok". There was no attempt by the Aspen Dental team to reschedule my appointment. *As a side note, when I indicated that I did in fact have insurance, the employee seemed a little surprised that I was using them for dental care as opposed to a real dentist. I don't agree with the latest reviews here but more so with the first one from Matt. Awful experience!! Went there for pain in my tooth that I had cracked and when I got in there the Dentist NEVER asked me about my pain. Not even once. Then started examining my entire mouth! Really? Can we please focus on the one that's making me want to cut my head off!!!! Sent me out to their financial lady because apparently the dentists are not allowed to talk to you like a human being and tell you your options AND how much they cost, who quoted me on a root canal for $3100 or to have the tooth pulled. I wanted to try and save it but I was in such pain I just wanted it out so I chose to have it pulled. Then they said to me "well, it's too late in the day now to have it pulled so you'll have to come back next week". WHAT?!?! Are you kiddin me!?! I lost a tooth from my denture (which I managed to save) and I was able to efficiently make an appointment immediately. Once I arrived, there was about a half hour wait but they could affix the tooth back on within an hour. It was done very quickly, and I was ushered into a bathroom, told to try the denture on to see if it fit. It appeared to fit okay at the time. Once I left the dental office I noticed that my bite wasn't correct. The bite was never check to see if it aligned correctly with my bottom teeth and there is a lump where they had glued the tooth back on. I was charged $129.00 to glue the existing tooth back on but never had a technician or dentist check to make sure it fitted correctly. My 78 yo father went in to have teeth removed and to be fitted for dentures. After his procedure they never called in his prescriptions. We called Raynham 12 times before they closed to try to get the prescriptions, no one would answer on a Wednesday between 5-6pm. We called the emergency line 5 times without ever receiving a call back. The emergency line is an out if state call center, a different person answering each time, with no recollection of any previous calls. DO NOT GO HERE. read more

Horrible. I made an appointment for one specific problem! They did a whole exam and X-ray. I told the nurse and the doctor for the reason for my visit. When the dentist came in again, he was telling me I needed fillings and extractions, which I already knew I needed. I came here for another problem. Instead of fixing the problem I came in for, they tell me that I need a deep cleaning and filling before they can solve my other issue. Went to another dentist the next day & I'm getting my problem resolved with no up-selling. I will be going to Dentist of Attleboro from now on! This place is terrible they had my husband pay ahead he had a 500 dollar refund coming cause we put more money then we needed and since the summer still waiting we call and call and we can't get an answer just a run around oh and they say they sent the check to his name and the address they used no house number or a street they said they addressed it to drive . Please take my advise don't give any money in advance please don't also pay close attention to everything they say you need one example my husband was being charged for upper and lower dentures and all we needed was upper . Please I don't advise anyone to go here they are not there for your care just over charging and over charging oh and please pay close attention for their plan it indicates you need this and you need that highway robbery . We just want are money back then we're done . Trust me any dentist is better then any Aspen Dental office my cat gets better dental care at our vet . I too had a terrible experience with Aspen of Raynham, Má. I went once experienced how bad they were and never went back --its money, money, money with them the heck with patient care. After reading these reviews i question why anyone would use ASPEN. Any senior should research the class action lawsuit against Aspen... the lawsuit is for over charging and bait and switch. Yeah hate to say it but these guys suck. They are so unprofessional it felt like students pretending to be dentists. They raced through the assessment, barely looked in my mouth and ignored the problem I went for. Then rather than clean your teeth they bring you to a lady to talk about money who tells what you need(not the dentist!). Don't believe that 1st appointment is free garbage either they won't do a thing until you pay in full then and there! Who does that??? I'll find a legitimate dentist next time. read more

This place is seriously the worst. Went for just a regular checkup/cleaning and the entire time I was there they were trying to sell me things. They were literally doing x-rays of my teeth while trying to sell me an electric toothbrush (it was on sale! what a great deal!). Told me I need my teeth scaled (which I don't) and when I told them I just need a regular cleaning and a cavity filled, they told me they HAD to do the scaling or it would be "negligent". These people do not understand what negligent means. They will not let you refuse a service you don't even need and told me I wasn't allowed to waive it, which is absolutely absurd. If I could rate them NO STARS I would. Horrible! No best side manor. I literally won't to back over the way the last dentist treated me. After I told them I wouldn't be returning back to have the other two fillings done (they had already done one but i had pre paid for THREE) and I wanted my money back they wouldn't call me back each time I called to find out when I could get my money back. I also found out later that they are being investigated for insurance fraud. read more

Corporate scam artist. If it's your first time, they tell you, you need a deep cleaning. I had this painful procedure done five years ago. I moved and went to a new office and here we go again. So it's Midnight, Tuesday 11/10/21, and I'm waiting for the Ibuprophen to kick in... I've spent quite a Few Thousands of dollars there and I'm up in Pain. Somewhere around $6000 to $7000 over two years.. I went because I was Tired of Mouth pain and all this money later,,,, I have MORE MOUTH PAIN.. I called earlier today and told the "Person" that answered that I was Experiencing quite a bit of pain in one of the two Expensive Crowns they put in whenever I wear the Temporary Upper partial they just made me, and that MORE adjustments needed to be made on the Permanent Lower partial That didn't fit and caused So much pain I couldn't wear it... I had been in once already for an adjustment... I Think I might have Bothered the woman because she was Kinda Snippy and told me to hang on so she could See when they had time to see me... After a few minutes she came back and told me that although I was in Pain that they couldn't see me for a week... I asked what I was Going to do until then and she told me Not to wear the upper for a WEEK and watch what I eat until the following MONDAY.. To which I said, "But I Have to go to work..!!!" to which she Casually Said, "Then Just wear it when you're at work...!" I had no more than 5 minutes Earlier told her that the Partial was Causing Great pain in the Crown they put in and she like Just Couldn't have cared less... So It seems the Ibuprophen is finally making the pain Subside... Wish me luck folks until next Monday... I went in with pain in a specific area of my mouth. I was diagnosed with a moderate gum disease. I went to the finance office where they explained the cost would be approx. $1000 for total treatment. I explained that I was unemployed and had no dental insurance. Rather than providing an option, they just encouraged me to sign up for a credit line. I was convinced that I needed this procedure, and I probably did (but not for this particular pain - read on). If you asked me right now how the pain in my mouth is, you would be the first person to do so. Despite two follow up visits, nobody ever asked if the pain had been relieved. THAT'S WHY I WENT THERE! They did not treat me like a patient. They treated me like an account. I had already decided to end my relationship with Aspen at that point. However I received a voice message from the office months later. I couldn't understand the person, so I called back near the end of the day. The receptionist told me, "It was probably corporate calling to collect an outstanding balance." I explained that that was impossible and she put me on hold....for 15 minutes...until the office closed. My line was disconnected without speaking to another person. And when I called right back, I was forwarded immediately to voice mail. It was obvious that she had no desire to address me as a patient...again. I called the Aspen Dental Patient Satisfaction line immediately. It turns out...they owed ME money. Regina from the satisfaction line was very helpful, even detailing my procedures at my request. In my opinion, I'm sure the dentists at Aspen are very qualified to clean teeth. They are not skilled at treating patients or communicating with people. read more

By far the worst dental experience I've ever had. This is a scam. I went in March for a cleaning. No cleaning was given, they took about 10 xrays, which I did not want. The dentist came in told me I had no cavities but needed "deep cleaning"/scaling services". Then the dentist sent me to the finance woman who reminded me that I "required" the extra "deep cleaning"/scaling services" for $850. Also suggested a $300-$600 whitening for as they said, my "yellow teeth". Refused to give me a standard cleaning. The whole process was the most rude impersonal thing I've ever seen. So I followed up with a normal dentist, rather than this assembly line dental scam. The new dentists gave me a standard cleaning for $100 and said I had some of the best teeth he's ever seen. Here are my issues: 1) Went there twice, and each time, they took me 10-15 minutes past my appointment time 2) They tried to sell me on an electric toothbrush that they must have a partnership with. 3) They actually used this toothbrush to clean my teeth. Who does that?! 4) They tried to upsell me on some type of deep cleaning because I "needed" it. I said no 5) They then did some procedure on me that I WAS NOT NOTIFIED OF, then charged me for it later. 6) Prior to the appointment, my teeth didn't hurt. After (and even now), my teeth are ultra sensitive to cold, and still hurt. 7) To add to #6, i've never felt so much pain during/after an appointment, ever, and i've had all 4 wisdom teeth removed at once many years ago. My advice? Stay away!! Update: Spoke to corporate Apsen Dental. They acknowledged that this happens (services being performed without going over the details); they removed the charge. Regardless of the outcome, the person I spoke to at corporate was friendlier and more understanding than the person I spoke to at the Raynham location. Maybe I'll try another Aspen Dental location for my next cleaning, but I would definitely avoid this place. read more

I was able to get an appointment rather quickly compared to other facilities. The front desk receptionist was professional and courteous. I arrived a few minutes earlier than my appointment and they were able to get me right in. Jenn the dental hygienist gave me a thorough cleaning and it was not painful. She gave me some tips for when brushing. I had an Invisalign consultation and the lead technician was so knowledgeable. I feel bad I don't remember her name because she did go above and beyond with my consult. I am not shy to ask questions because hey I'm paying for this service and I need to know what I'm getting into! She was so patient with me and explained everything until I was comfortable. I was fascinated with the technology they have available. It was pretty cool that she even emailed me the 3D images of my teeth. The office manager Miriam was really polite and knowledgeable about what my next steps were. I left happy and am looking forward to my next visit. I would definitely recommend this Aspen Dental. read more

Cancelled my appointment with less than an hour notice while I was already driving there, I arrive and it's just "sorry," no explanation.

so far so good.....went for my initial visit. was given the same information my previous (and much more expensive) dentist had told me as far as work that was necessary. I signed up for 1dental (not dental insurance but, dental discounting) and was surprised to learn that my work will now only cost one half of the original estimate. My previous dental office does not take the 1dental discount program, but, Aspen Dental does. Will review again after the work (or at least some of the work) has been done. read more
