I've had a very good experience with Aspen Pest Control. We have an ongoing issue with ants that we haven't been able to fix on our own. I called to ask for more information about their services and they answered all of my questions without any pressure to sign up. I appreciated that they explained in advance which products they would use and gave me a realistic timeline on how quickly we'd see results. Once I signed up, they were able to send someone within a few days. Their service technician Brad showed up right at the start of the 2 hour window and he was truly courteous and professional. He told us which products he was using and how they worked, and gave us a fact sheet as well as some pre-baited traps to use if we saw more ant activity inside the home. He also removed wasp nests and even filled a small hole in the crawlspace vent on the exterior of our house, which I feel was really going above and beyond. After the service was complete, I got an email with all of the details of what was applied and where, which I think is an excellent practice. It's only been a few weeks since the first treatment, but the number of ants inside our home went down pretty quickly and lately we haven't see any at all. I do understand we may see more as the ants move through their life cycle, but I'm really pleased with the results so far. read more

Angelo showed up at the beginning of the 2-hour time slot and he was so friendly and informative! I was so happy to see him I almost gave him a hug! JK! Seriously though we were overwhelmed by fleas after our 13-year-old German Shepherd died. We had shampooed our carpet and had never encountered such a situation! Angelo took great care to explain why this happened and proceeded to take care of the inside, as well as the outside, of the house and will be back in 21 days to do it again. I contacted Aspen Pest Control because some of my neighbors had problems with sugar ants. Rather than taking a wait and see approach I decided to be proactive and have the interior and exterior sprayed. Everyone at Aspen was professional, pleasant and well informed. I was given an appointment with a minimum of wait time and a follow up 4 weeks later. We have a rental property in Portland that needed some work after our renters moved out. The exterior was covered in cobwebs and had a couple bee hives in the eaves. Aspen Pest Control came out two days after we called them. They cleaned all the cobwebs off the exterior, knocked down the hives and sprayed the perimeter of the house. We hired them to spray quarterly so we don't have the same problem again. The price was very reasonable. The curb appeal increased dramatically and the whole place feels so much cleaner. read more

Very quick response thoroughly inspected our home and provided necessary treatment to take care of ants and spiders

Technician Angelo arrived on time and explained how he planned to get rid of the spiders that had taken up residence in our house (which btw is in a tiny forest). Treatment doesn't smell & is safe for kids & pets, but I put our pets in the laundry room. He sprayed baseboards inside, and also sprayed a different product outside around the perimeter. He will come back in 3 months, as the treatment works slowly over time. Angelo also gave me several bug houses (sticky on the inside) to trap any insects that might wander around under the beds. Satisfied with today's service, will see how much spider activity we have in 3 months. read more

The treatment worked, and I've been using their quarterly program ever since, because it gives me peace of mind and is a good value. Today Angelo did our typical maintenance service but we also needed few wasp nests removed from our eaves. He was able to remove them all quickly and efficiently. Called Aspen about a mouse problem in our kitchen Monday morning, and they were out here by Tuesday afternoon and had several solutions implemented (bait stations, steel wool to block a hole) plus recommendations for other measures we could take. Aspen pest control came over a few months ago to help with some mice that were in my garage and made their way into the house, within one visit the mice were removed from my home and garage / around the house. They offer a package for visits and are fairly priced, they will come back and refill the bait boxes and spray around the house for pests etc. I had a mouse in my house my cat caught so I called aspen to have them come out, I was a little distressed due to feeling like the mice were gone for good and then having one in my house again was upsetting, the receptionist sent out a technician within 30 minutes and he arrived and went straight to work. He spent at least two hours checking all around the house for entry points and spent a good deal of time investigating and proofing the home to avoid any more intruders! They responded so quickly and helped but covering holes that made it easy for mice (and one big rat) to access the basement. They followed up in a month and left more bait. I didn't love being the mouse house, but all activity stopped soon after the second visit. read more
