Went to Heather to get a bob hair cut, she couldn't even look at a picture and get it right. Uneven all the way around. Worst hair cut ever

If you get your hair colored, there's a colorist across the hall from Sha named Adriene, and she's awesome.

While it is not cheap, it's worth it. You get ushered back to the bathroom to change. You have your own locker that you can put all your stuff in and lock, so very secure. Very nice bathrobe and sandals to put on and then you go into a waiting room. Very calm and serene. A couple of different flavored waters to choose from and snacks if you're so inclined. Waited in there about 10 mins (you can bring your phone but come on people - you're here to relax. Put the flipping thing in the locker. You can disconnect for an hour). My masseuse came and collected me and ushered me to a nice quiet room. She listened to what I wanted her to do and left me to get under the sheets. The room was nice and warm and I was never cold. The massage was WONDERFUL. I needed a deep tissue and she delivered. Within 2 days my shoulder and neck were worlds better. After the massage they take you back to the bathroom. I super appreciate that there is a shower. The only downside of massage is having that oil all over you and getting dressed again. Loved the shower - very clean and great towels. Highly recommend and will return!

It was the 100% opposite! I had no problem booking myself online. I saw Josh for scalp massage treatment and Courtney for a natural facial. It was outstanding!! I booked myself a 30min break in between so i wasn't rushed. I showered and waited in the special waiting room and enjoyed tea. I loved the scalp one with a brushing my hair and scented oil smelled so good. Josh was very nice and talked about the process, about 30minutes long. Courtney explained the facial products. She worked on my neck and upper chest area too. She was so nice. The space is so clean, pretty and organized. I loved looking at all the many options of items to buy around the front desk. I have been to many spas and they all seemed to be the same after a treatment they would price out all the items to ask me to buy them. Not here there was no list or pressure to do anything. I booked another facial with Courtney. I can't wait to go back!

I have spent over $400 on facials and lash lift services and have been consistently struck by the lack of professionalism displayed by both the estheticians and the front desk staff. I would strongly caution anyone with blonde lashes against booking a lash lift with Ann. The results were uneven, with lashes permed in multiple directions. During the service, she commented that I did not have many lashes, which I initially found odd. In hindsight, it appears the issue was not my lashes but her inability to properly see or work with them. A previous, extremely poor deep tissue massage at the former location kept me away for more than a decade. I returned with optimism due to the new facility, but that optimism was misplaced. After several hours wasted and significant out-of-pocket expense, it is clear that while Ultimate Escape is aesthetically pleasing, the service execution is substandard. The staff appeared disengaged and awkward, and there is a clear need for comprehensive customer service and technical training. Unfortunately, this experience has confirmed that I will not be returning.

Check in was fine but they seemed confused on some of the paperwork. They allowed us to have the private back room which was cool. However they didn't give us our snack until right at the very end and we only had like 5 mins to eat it and then was whisked off to the sauna and when we came back, the snack was gone. Which was disappointing bc the snacks were very tasty and delicious and such a waste of food. If we had that room the whole time, they should've given us the snack at the beginning so we had the whole time to eat it.. we each had at least two services. I had the massage and it was very average. The lady didn't know where my trigger points were at all and was just massaging with no regard for my personal trigger points. Then when I laid face up, she put a wet warm towel on my face and by the end of it, it was cold and felt like gross wet towel on my face. Also that evening, I had red bumps all over my face. And she completely fucked up my neck. She had no idea where trigger points in my neck were either and was just pushing way too hard on all the wrong spots. It was not great. The sauna can fit two people and you could get on YouTube and play whatever music you like. Which was nice. But I don't see the benefit in the sauna at all. Very odd. Anyways, the other girls seemed to enjoy their services for the most part so at least that's a plus. But I will definitely not be coming back.

Brining guests is a complete hassle and you're charged a non refundable fee of $25 if life changes happen and you don't come with a guest that day. On several occasions I was denied guests even tho it was well before the required 24hour application to request them. On multiple occasions my requests were completely ignored and went unreported to even if they were placed 72hours in advance. I was frequently traveling to KC for work and sports only to be hassled when my wife visited from LA stating that I reached my cap for local guest passes (mind you, she lives in California full time and would visit me about once or twice a month for a weekend) 3. Steam room in women's bathroom is utterly disgusting and wasn't cleaned since I was there over a several month period, how'd I know? The dirt streaks and giant clump of hair that just remained of the floor for over 6months 4. Coming from Los Angeles and the Heimat gym where I pay $350/month, I was excited to try this gym... but this gym is clearly nothing but a wanna-be elite gym. The best part of this place is the flavored water in the women's locker room- And maybe the pools in the summer but good luck finding parking 5. Looking to bring up an issue with the staff and escalate it? Don't worry, they're happy to ignore you. Trust me, you're not gonna miss this place. Only thing it's memorable for is being complicated while trying to use its perks and over complicated. The 2 stars are for the water and the equipment. The cleaning staff is super nice tho!

We stopped by the cafe on the way out. I tried the grilled cheese and tomato soup. The grilled cheese had apples in it and had good flavor. I just had my massage today, and it was absolutely amazing, as always! Christine has been my massage therapist from the very beginning, and I am so grateful for her expertise and care. She has an incredible memory--once you share exactly what you're looking for in a massage and your preferred pressure, she remembers it for life! The atmosphere of the massage room is perfect: dim lighting, soft relaxing music, and a sense of calm that melts away stress. I'm a big fan of heat massages, and Christine takes it to the next level with her use of a weighted heat pad, a heated massage bed, and wonderfully soothing hot towels. The aromatherapy she incorporates into the session adds another layer of relaxation, making the whole experience magical. Scheduling is always a breeze, thanks to the owner, Ashley. She is so kind and such a friendly face--always ready to help. If you ever need to reschedule, just give her a call instead of emailing, as it's much faster! I recommend arriving early to enjoy the spa's relaxation area. It's such a peaceful space to unwind before your treatment, and they also have a shower and steam room that you can enjoy. One of the things I love most is that this is a phone-free zone, so you can completely relax and enjoy the quiet time without any distractions. The spa itself is immaculate, quiet, and so welcoming. Clients are treated to water, coffee, fruit, and snacks, which is such a thoughtful touch. Every visit feels like a mini retreat, and I always leave feeling completely rejuvenated. If you're looking for a massage therapist who truly listens and a spa experience that's second to none, I can't recommend Milagro Midwestern Spa--and Christine--highly enough!
