I requested new artificial turf in place of a small patch of grass in front of our townhome, and re-leveling of the pathway that had settled poorly since construction. When all was said and done, the turf looked great and the pathway looked like new with everything level across the board. The estimate wasn't the cheapest option, however the explanation provided as part of the estimating process was top notch and I was confident that that level of detail in the estimation process meant that the work would be done with that same attention to detail and this turned out to be true. I hired Don at Creative Dreams to rebuild our chimney well over a year ago. Because he was not able to build our chimney until well into the fall he did not put on the final sealer that he had told us was very important to make the chimney last longer, because the sealer needed several days of dry weather to properly dry. We paid him for the entire job (including applying the sealer) and he promised that he would come back and apply the sealer the following spring, after the weather got nice. However, when spring came and I tried to contact Don I found that he had become impossible to reach. He did not answer emails, text messages or phone calls, and his phone did not have voicemail so I could not leave a message. I even tried sending him a letter by USPS but he never answered. All I want is for him to compete the job that I already have paid for in full. But for some reason he has apparently decided that he is not going to do the work, and is obviously avoiding all of my attempts to contact him. If you hire Don be sure that you do NOT pay him until he completes the job!
