I told her that I had never been there before and would like to schedule an appointment. The very FIRST thing she said to me was "what type of insurance do you have?".....(in a VERY unfriendly tone!) I said "Aetna" . She responded with "what plan?" (Again VERY unfriendly tone!) I replied with .....Is that the ONLY question or thing you can ask me before ANYTHING else? Like "hello"or "How Are You?" She said "YES!"......I then asked her...."Am I bothering you????" She replied with "No". I told her that I no longer was interested in scheduling an appointment with this office. Just thought someone should know if they read their reviews. Again, sadly, she didn't give her name when she answered the phone....but then again why would she with an attitude like that. I then called another ENT office and they were very nice and polite!

He said I had an infection in there which I thought it was also. Put me on ear drops that didn't help. I went back and he suctioned out my ear and put me on a different ear drop told me to follow up in a week. The morning of the follow-up visit I had blood draining from my ear. I told hi about it when I went in that afternoon. He took. quick peek in my ear and told me it looks like you have another infection in there, blood usually indicates a ruptured eardrum and he gave me a script for z pak. When I asked him about a follow up he told me it was not necessary. Being very unhappy I went to another doc for a second opinion. I do not have a rupturned eardrum nor do I have an infection. I was sent for a CT scan and guess what doc. I have a recurrence of cholesteatoma. I am so glad I didn't listen to him. I DO NOT recommend this doctor. DO NOT go to him if you value your or a loved one's health.

I was also told this has happened with her before. On top of all this, Ms Kim thought my 7 year old son was 41 because his birthday was entered in wrong. I thought she was joking and she wasn't! Then she proceeded to say he was 4!!! This is after I told her he was 7 about 10 times. She couldn't figure out the dosage for him so we sat there and watched her google it for 10 minutes on her cell phone. And it ended up still being wrong to the point where Walgreens told me it could have damaged his heart! The whole experience was insane.

I have had two visits now. Each time the visit was pleasant. The first was in early November. I was…read morereferred to this ENT office due to an abnormal thyroid ultrasound. I waited at least a week before calling to set up an appointment because I know it takes time for them to process the referral. When I called to make the appointment, the person I spoke to was kind, professional and very helpful. I saw Dr. Perlstein at the Tempe location. He was kind, knowledgeable and explained what was on my ultrasound in a way I could understand. He said I would need a biopsy, and thus a referral was sent to banner, and I was on my way. Fast forward to the end of December, my biopsy was done and I returned to Dr. Perlstein for the results. My husband, Dr. Perlstein and myself discussed the results and subsequent treatment options. Dr. Perlstein was great again at explaining things on the biopsy and different options on what to do.
