    Brunch Breakfast Burris

The breakfast burrito was delicious. The combination of flavors with chorizo Verde pickled onions refried beans was a smashing hit. The have comfortable outdoor seating that makes it an ideal spot on great weather days.

Lovely place for brunch, lunch, dinner, and/or drinks. I loved the vibes. Everything was prepped and served perfectly as ordered. The lawn was a nice feature if you have kids. They can play and still be in sight while adults dine in the cozy outdoor dining area which is equipped with fans and heaters for comfort depending on what the weather is like. There is a full bar which is always a plus; and the service was top tier.

I met a group of authors for dinner at Assembly House in Sunnyvale, so I knew I was going to have a good time at this restaurant because of the gathering... but I had no idea the food was really THAT good! And I do mean the food is good!!! I was thinking about the prime rib sandwich, and when I asked the waitress she guided me to the southern fried chicken sandwich. I am grateful she did this because the southern fried chicken sandwich was DELICIOUS!!! There were green tomatoes on it (and I was a little cautious about them) but the sweetness with the sauce was the right combination. Seriously, I want to go back right now for this sandwich! And the truffle fries - soooo good! I ate every bite and enjoyed my meal, my time with my author friends, and the time spent in this restaurant!

Wanted to love this restaurant. Afternoon Sunday lunch. Really nice and cool interior seated very nice quickly. Service as ok. Even though they forgot to ring in my gambas before my entrees. The sandwich's were very pedestrian and with the prices I expected a higher level of bread and meat. The g shrimp were really hot but lacked any flavor and the crostini's were not edible. Would go again but y'all got some room to improve.

Great service, great food and great drinks. I had the salmon and devoured it before I could take a picture. Honestly, very well priced for what you get. Highly recommend!

Everything is always fabulous and on point here at Assembly House!. The menu is . The owners and chef are incredible and attentive. We asked if they would offer gluten free options a few weeks ago and the chef said of course. We returned and voila! Gluten Free buns, bread and Pizza! This is the place to be in Sunnyvale for drinks, dinner, brunch, and a place to make new friends and memories

New restaurant in Sunnyvale, very nice and attentive staff and servers. Menu had great variety and Food had really good flavor. Met the head chef and manager, very nice people. Can't wait to return and try something new! We had the smash burger, Cali chicken sandwich and the spicy meatballs.

Assembly house has the vibe and decor of a nicer restaurant, but it's too stodgy. They have a full bar and a nice patio area. The menus have lots of choices for food, cocktails, and wine. We started with the truffle fries which were delightful. My two dinner mates had pizza and I had steak frites, but with mashed potatoes instead of fries. The steak wasn't seasoned much at all, but when dipped in their steak house was delicious! The pizza received rave reviews. Our service was great and the waiter was very friendly and made recommendations when asked. Assembly House is an excellent addition to Sunnyvale and the surrounding areas and is filling the need for a nicer, locally owned restaurant!

Smash Burger with truffle fries!!!! It's so good. I got extra sauce even. The truffle fries were phenomenal.

This is what a smash burger is supposed to be. Simple, confident, done right. I'd order it again without thinking and I'll be comparing other burgers to it whether they deserve it or not.

The service is excellent- very observant but not too obtrusive- the perfect amount of face-time. We got the Egusi soup with pounded yam, the goat pepper soup, the jollof rice, the oxtails, and the Suya combo- we also got the puffs (fried delicious bread). My favorite was the goat pepper soup- spicy and truly delicious. The Egusi with fufu was also rich and flavorful. Honestly- I could use those same descriptor words for everything. The oxtails were tender. The jollof rice was smokey and flavorful. We will be going back again. Since they make everything on demand, they did say if you want to order the achu, that they need about an hour's notice. I want to try it next time so we will be calling in ahead of time! I forgot to take photos of anything- and honestly I'm so sad about it- here's a pic of us eating to fill the gap.

I'm not sure if it was just a bad day to come here or what, but the fact that it was so busy did not match the experience that we had. Although the drinks we got were ok, the tajin rim on my cucumber margarita was barely existent. It was maybe a few flecks of tajin. Then when our food came out, the rice looked completely bland. Jasmine rice with zero flavor is certainly an interesting choice for a Mexican food restaurant. We ordered queso and it just tasted like melted down velveeta with some tomatoes in it. By the time the queso came out, we were out of chips. Instead of bringing us more, we had to ask our server several times for some. Felt out of the ordinary for a restaurant as typically they'll just bring you more chips? The tomatillo sauce was very good on the enchilada, but that was about the most flavor of the entire night. I don't know that I would recommend this place to anyone... just drive 1 minute up the road to Manny's! To top it off, the whole vibe of the place feels weird. Extremely upscale on the outside, but as soon as you walk in it's just odd. Additionally, two enchilada plates and queso with two margaritas came out to $80. This was extremely expensive for the quality of food that we received.

Flying Saucer in Garland was the location of my brother's rehearsal dinner. It wasn't the originally planned location since the first venue canceled, but I'm glad we ended up here instead. My girlfriend and I arrived shortly after the party started, looked at their beer list, and were both overwhelmed and impressed by the literally hundreds of options, from draft to canned and bottled selections. They also have a full bar with mixed drinks and wine options, which is great for my grandparents. I drank a La Fin du Monde, which is one of my favorite beers to ever exist, a Guinness, a NA Michelob, and a specialty blackberry cider drink that I was a huge fan of. I wish I remembered what they called it. We had a huge supply of food to choose from, including wings, tenders, quesadillas, and more. But what truly made the night was hanging around Lake Ray Hubbard and enjoying the breeze with our brews. The location truly makes the place what it is. This place is beer heaven. Everyone had a great time at the rehearsal dinner, and Flying Saucer's staff was super attentive the whole night. I was very impressed overall with the experience. A billboard off I-30 reads that they have 200 different craft beers and a lake patio. I can now confirm both of those points. RIYL: Every beer.

However, thereafter life got in the way and I didn't get back for a number of years. I loved the place then and I'm heartened to say that I loved it still. Of course it's the beer. Probably the best selection of beers on draft in DFW. With new beers added frequently. Always fresh and well presented. Add to that that the servers are well versed and helpful. The food isn't bad either. The menu is diverse enough so that most diners can find a number of tasty options. My favorite is the Saucer Burger. But I really don't go there for the food. Ambiance is casual. There's a lot of dark wood. Dart boards for the competitive. And seating? I recommend a table near the windows with a view of Lake Ray Hubbard. Or, weather permitting, a table on the deck. All in all, a great place to have a bite and a beer. Responsibly of course.

We came in and sat at the bar, which wasn't bad, but just a heads up! Bartender/server Russo - AMAZING! This space isn't extremely spacious. They do have an outside, but it was really cold. For food - you can't go wrong with anything. I mean anything. We were blown away. We started off with the seared tuna, the sauce was so tasty we dipped our toasted focaccia bread in it. Perfect combination. We couldn't choose between the two pastas so we got both. The lamb gnocchi and ricotta lemon ravioli everything was so perfect. Both great portions, both extremely flavorful. You have to get these. We ended the night with a desert and again, blown away. We got the chocolate mousse and cleaned the bowl. It had little bites of vanilla cake in it, so good.
