My only BIG complaint was a cockroach ran across the table and my plate of food towards the end of my meal. The manager did seem mortified, and comped one of the meals on the ticket. However, roaches anywhere is a big NO from me. The ground chuck was medium well how I like, brisket was tender and bacon was not to crisp but just right, the red onions on burger chopped small and perfectly, the lettuce and tomato tasted and looked fresh onion strings could've been crispier. I think they should've put more barbecue sauce on the brisket but overall the burger tasted good. The fries had a good sweet seasoning taste. Be prepared to pay $13 dollars for burger and fries but it's worth it. I gave 3 stars because I didn't get the full dining and ambiance experience, but will dine in for that. read more

We moved to the area six months ago, so we've been trying to give business around us a chance. This has been the third order from BoomerJack's. The first order was from their website and picked up. You can tell when you enter the door that the crowd at the bar are the regulars. Had I walked in to place an order, I would have probably left without placing it. The order wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything to brag about either. The next two orders were made using third party apps. In both occasions I was offered free delivery plus an additional discount, so we gave it a try once again. In both occasions, the steak was not cooked to order. Asked for medium well and received a medium rare steak. I don't know if their grill is too high, but it is definitely deceiving them into believe that it's cooked from the outside appearance. The mashed potatoes were just a runny mess. It was suppose to be the jalapeño cheedar mashed potatoes, but I can only assume they were out of both and chose to add more cream instead. They did manage to get the two sodas correct, but might I suggest, instead of supplying to-go orders with paper straws, go without. The cheap paper didn't survive long enough to finish my drink. I wish I could show the picture of that pink steak, but that was sent with my complaint to doordash for my money back. I did include the runny mashed potatoes though.
