[[HIGHLIGHT]]Small dining area, clean and discoteca vibes. Nice decor.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Menu is super interesting. Can't pronounce much of anything, unless it's in English. Ordered a pkhalis assortment, Shkmeruli, Mtsvadi, Cvishtari balls, Georgian style salad, Georgian styled potatoes. $107.86 Discount if you use cash. The presentation and plating isn't bad, use of a lot of wood serving items. The potatoes are good, simple, but good. The assortment is essentially mashed up balls of many different items: spinach, beans and leeks, pumpkin, eggplant; it's all quite interesting, not my favorite, not sure I would get it again. The Cvishtari balls are so hard to describe, flat like a hotteok, graininess of a polenta with some light cheese to the texture and flavoring. A very subtle flavor. The salad is unique, dressing is made with walnut. Would be even better if the tomatoes were more ripe. The Shkmeruli wasn't bad, grilled chicken chunks, light marinade flavor. The Mtsvadi are big chunks of chicken, sauce is really creamy, slightly spicy.

Fantastic authentic Georgian food. Xincali is only available on Tuesday and Thursdays but this dish is worth a special trip. Loved the potatoes. Loved the Chachipuri , which is a cheese bread. The meat tray huge, very tender and well seasoned. Warm and friendly staff. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They did a great job with the decor and ambiance, especially the beautiful Georgian music.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Unfortunately they don't take parties of more than six unless you do a pre fix menu but luckily we only had six people and still managed to try everything à la carte. We will be back for sure. Highly recommend.

[[HIGHLIGHT]]This is the cutest restaurant and we love going here.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Every dish we order is absolutely amazing, but our go to's are the khachapuri, the khinkali (only served certain days of the week but I wish they were more) and the shkmeruli. Do not pass this place up!

Tried this restaurant for the first time last night. There were four of us and we were all new to Georgian food so had no idea what to expect. We asked for recommendations and ended up getting the feta and mozzarella khachapuri, the Georgian salad, the garlic chicken, the walnut chicken, and the cornbread patties. Everything was very good, but the absolute standout was the salad. The veggies were super fresh and crunchy and the walnut dressing... we were all stunned by it. I can only describe it as pesto-like and can't stop thinking about it. I will definitely be back again soon!

The food is incredible but is sadly overpriced for what you get. And there are no sides included with any of the mains. Not even rice. Super weird. We got: Adjarian Khachapuri - 10/10 a mixture of feta and another cheese baked with an egg on top just fabulous. Satsivi - 9/10 The portion was small but the flavor was BIG. The walnut was bitter but awesome and the flavor was shocking. Unexpected but great! Chvishtari Balls - 8/10 I tasted no cheese but it kinda didn't matter, they were really tasty! Also, more pancakes than balls. Beef Kabob - 9/10 This was so beautiful and delicious. The only reason it's not a 10 is the same size vs cost Georgian Styled Potato - 9/10 Incredible and also tasty. Dill, garlic and awesome. I love this food, if the prices were lower, we'd eat there more often. As it was, all of this cost over $100.

I came here with six people tonight and it was an interesting experience. I did not realize that this was a traditional Georgian restaurant because on Apple Maps described it as a "soup restaurant" We walk in and there's no hostess section in the front. The hostess (who is also our waitress) is sitting at a table in the back. We sat at a nearby table. She came to us we ordered drinks. We got the kopoti, which was a juice cocktail/syrup. It was very thick and sweet. Good with a sparkling water or something. I ordered the traditional salad and it was good. Warning that it's like a peanut butter sauce on it. Needed salt or some more vinegar. My dad ordered the traditional stew (not the beef stew) and it was super good. Rice was not overcooked in it! It needed some spice so he asked for jalapeños on the side and it was delicious! One person got the dumplings and the waitress taught us how to traditionally eat them. They also needed salt. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Here's the thing: this restaurant has the opportunity to be such a good restaurant. It really nice inside. Very moody and aesthetically pleasing.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] There was this really good bread that came with the soup. That should be on the table with some eggplant dip or something traditional. Even butter would be good with that bread. They should serve it on the table and they can up prices just a little on the menu for that! The next thing is to add salt. Finally, get some dessert on this menu.

Satsivi

I was so excited to discover this restaurant in the Farmington hills area, located at the corner of 13 mile and orchard lake road. I've never had Georgian food so I was ready to try it out! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The dishes on the menu are unique and the ambiance is classy![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The menu has a decent selection of items but be warned there are a lot of breads/ cheeses on the menu and not as many greens or less carby Options that I could see. Either way a great place to try on a cheat meal! The presentation of everything was wonderful. I tried the popular Satsivi which comes in a clay pot and has a chicken in walnut sauce. The flavor of it was unique and not so strong, it was mild to me. I preferred the taste of the garlic chicken my friend got at the table as that curry was more runny whereas mine was very thick, which I did not care for in the safsivi. The chicken came with a side of pita which was nice but wish they had alternate options like it coming with a rice or side salad. The dessert menu is lacking a bit but we did have a wonderful complimentary dessert that we all enjoyed. Definitely worth a visit to try out! There is a service fee on credit cards so bring cash and you can bring your own liquor/ wine if you want but the restaurant does not have a liquor license yet.

Delicious authentic Georgian food, so much needed here! Exclusive in the area. Update: it only gets better each and every time we visit

A unique and unforgettable experience in an unassuming location! The cozy upscale ambiance and warm friendly service make this restaurant a great place to settle in and enjoy a rich cultural culinary experience! I had never tried Georgian food and was pleasantly surprised to find there were plenty of delicious vegetarian options! I tried the beans, vegetable stew, and khachapuri which were all phenomenal. I cannot fathom a negative thing to say about this wonderful little restaurant! One tip for those who eat meat- the dumplings are only served on weekdays! I will absolutely visit again and hopefully include it in the regular restaurant rotation. p.s. Great spot for date night!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Cozy, hospitable, with a beautiful cultured ambiance. Felt like a trip to Europe.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food was delicious--we loved the salad and Adjarian Khachapuri (melted cheese bread). Portion sizes are generous and very filling. Service was also great. Will definitely be back and would totally recommend!

impeccable food, [[HIGHLIGHT]]wonderful atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] and incredibly kind people Will definitely come back!

Recently enjoyed our visit to this new Georgian restaurant. This is a small place but has a nice modern vibe, with black streamlined decor and open floor format. Menu has a number of traditional Georgian dishes that we greatly enjoyed! Summer salad was delicious- interesting dressing with nut paste - loved it. Khachapuri was a large portion- so plan to split. We tried a few different meat dishes and they all had a great flavor. Happy to have this nice new spot - definitely coming back!

Unfortunately the food didn't hit as hard as I was expecting but it was still good. My mom ordered a salad which it looks like they pull from the premade section upfront. her carrots were moldy so we ended up splitting my dish. the girl working at the counter gave me a free dessert which was so kind of her. i got the soul bowl. fried artichokes, mac n cheese, collards, sweet potato, and coleslaw. The fried artichokes were good and a cool concept. The collards desperately needed some seasoning/salt but the slaw was realllllly good. the banana pudding was good but the whip cream was little too salty. at the end of the day I will always support an all vegan restaurant but I do not think chive would be my first choice in the future. I am open to trying other items though.

I tried it when I myself was vegan, but even now as a non-vegan, I often find myself craving it. I first discovered Chive Kitchen at a VegMichigan event where Chive Kitchen's head chef & founder, Susie Silvestre, was doing a cooking demo of their chili. Surprisingly, my favorite dish at Chive Kitchen to this day is their Michigan chili. I've personally always hated chili and was very hesitant to try Chive Kitchen's, but the moment I did, I was transformed. Their chili is one of the most delicious things I've ever tasted & ever since then, I've tried to try other place's chilis as well & they all fall SO short. I highly recommend you try a cup of this the next time you dine at Chive Kitchen. It's so scrumptious & I even brought it with me on several camping trips to heat over the campfire on colder events, which really hit the spot. I don't understand how they do it, but the food is so incredible here! They take making food to a whole new level. I really want to encourage everyone, whether you are or aren't vegan, to leave any qualms & whatever prior (mis)conceptions you have about vegan food at the door, & try this place because you really shouldn't knock it until you've tried it. Chive Kitchen is always doing special events as well & incorporating new & tasty dishes into their menu on a rolling basis. Every time I place an order here, I see new items on the menu that sound so good, I salivate just reading the description or seeing the pictures. Honestly, after writing this review, I'm craving Chive Kitchen again & will probably be placing an order online immediately after this. :)
