Came to this location because it was a "corporate owned" location. I had bought a wireless hotspot device from Walmart ($59) but the cashier didn't properly do the scan that tells AT&T that the Device has been sold. I activated it, paid $90 for the 100GB data, and it worked fine initially... so I turned it off & put it away until I needed it for a trip later in the month. About three weeks later, I got the device out to check and make sure all was in order. My laptop & cell phone would connect to it, but there was no internet coming from the device. On my iPhone, it said "No Internet Connection" for the network. I reset it many times... nothing. I called support, they told me that Walmart did not complete the sale completely, and so the device was in AT&T's system as "unsold". When it was activated, the device's serial number or IMEI was suspended. Walmart wouldn't do anything since it was past the two week return time, told me AT&T should be able to manually unblock it. So, on Friday 1/23/26, I took it to this location. "Valerie M" waited on me. I explained what was going on. She said all it needed was a new SIM "but you'll need to pay another $90 for another data plan". I figured that, if it meant the device would actually work, I'd do it.. so I agreed. She charged me a $15 activation fee, too, so the total was $115. Total spent so far just to get this device working - $264. The device worked when I tested it, but I was concerned the same thing would happen the first time, that the device would stop working after a short time. Valerie assured me that everything should be fine, but to bring it back if it happened again. Sure enough, an hour later when I got home and checked it, it was back to the same issue I originally had. I immediately went back to this store, explaining to the man that waited on me what was going on. Valerie came over when she finished with a customer. They checked the IMEI number, and apparently, the info they were seeing was confusing to both this man & Valerie, so they went to, whom I can only assume, was the supervisor.. I overheard her tell Valerie to call AT&T support & get the device "un-blacklisted" since I had my receipt from Walmart showing it wasn't stolen. Valerie came back and called support on her own phone. The wait time was going to be well over 30 minutes, and I had to be somewhere... so I asked her if she needed me to stay... she told me no, that she had all my info on her tablet screen, and she would call me once she got things fixed. Asked me for my phone number. After about two hours, I decided to call the store. I spoke with Valerie, she said she needed my PIN. I gave it to her... said she tried calling me but it went straight to VM.. read off the number she said she wrote down (which was wrong). I gave it to her again and she repeated it. Told me she'd give me a call soon and to stay near my phone. I waited.... Another 2 hours goes by, I called the store again. And they told me Valerie had to leave suddenly, but she would be working the next day and I could leave a message. I did so, And expected to get a call the next morning. But nothing. I called the store a total of three times the next day, asking to speak with her, she was always with a customer and I was asked to leave a message. Each time, I gave my name and number and what it was regarding and that it was urgent (she knew I was leaving town & that I needed this device before I left). Never heard a word from her. I then decided to drive up to the store around 7pm. She had "just left". Nobody there was helpful at all. Told me they couldn't do anything, they didn't want to start working on the issue "if Valerie is researching it or whatever I don't want to interfere". They told me Valerie would be in the next day... I told them I was leaving town and the entire reason I bought this hotspot was for my trip. She apologized... I told her that it wasn't her fault, but that Valerie's lack of communication was very poor customer service, especially when ignoring messages when she said "don't you worry, I'll get down to the bottom of this" regarding the device. I don't usually write reviews. But when I have put down over $250, paid for two data plans and a device that was essentially a paperweight and nobody would help me, I feel as if I must. Valerie was nice enough when she was selling me a $90 data plan that I cannot even use, but now, I feel as if I'm just being thrown to the curb now, since they cannot monetize me anymore. If Valerie & this location end up getting this device working, as promised, I will edit this review. But for now, I will speak out everywhere I can about this. read more

I have a bad habit of losing or breaking my cellphone (even with a screen protector!) within 6 months max, so unfortunately...it wouldn't do me good to have expensive, high-end phones (ahem...iPhone!) and have had my fair share of getting new SIMs and buying new phones. This year alone...I probably am on my 4th-5th phone already and pretty much I have to stop by AT&T to get my new SIM and/or phone as well. I like the location of this store that it's within uptown mall area...so it's sort of a nice place to go and get multiple tasks done at once (shop for groceries, eat out, buy things you want, etc). While staff is generally nice, I hate that there's always a long list of customers waiting to be serviced at this store and it's always confusing where you can put your name down on a list to be called (they don't have a tablet that you can self-sign your name or a person to welcome you...so you sort of have to proactively ask around how you can be on a list to be called). I have had to wait close to an hour multiple times...and sometimes only to be told they didn't have the cheap phone I wanted in inventory (wasted my time waiting in line to be called, too!). Overall, a decent place to get your at&t phone services...but let's be real...none is (or should!) ever be excited to walk into a cellphone shop unless there's a problem with their cell phones, pay plans, etc read more

I just wanted to take the time to say " Thank you " to Omar! I've been having issues with my billing for the pass 5 months. Every month I call customer service and they say that they're going to fix it and unfortunately that never happens. I was so frustrated with AT&T and their service that I was contemplating leaving and going to one of their competitors. Mind you I've been with AT&T for about 13 years. There was only one man working at this store. The rest of the employees were loitering around. We waited one hour and the boss, one of the loiterers, was absolutely unaware of what was going on in his store. This has to be one of the worst Store I have ever been in! The customer service does not exist at this store! as soon as the two iPhones I purchased are paid off I will be porting my 3 numbers to another company. You can only treat customers poorly for so long before the company will have to make changes to keep business! I believe we got scammed. I currently have an iphone 12 pro with 56 memory and needed same phone with 256. Made appointment night before for next day at 430pm and reserved an iphone 12 pro in gold color (big mistake did not jot down the persons name I spoke with). walked in the store took them 20 min to check us in. Todl the person that we have appointment and a phone reserved. he brought out the phone and started the transfer only to release the new phone was larger then mine. I mentioned that i had reserved 12 pro not 12 max. By this time he had already did the transfer. We asked if he can check if they have other colors in 12pro, he immediately said, they don't. we asked if he can check the other store and he replied they do not have the capability to do so. I asked can he throw in a cover since the cover on my current phone would not fit on a max, he said they have no way to do that either. he said our options are "pay the $40 return fee to undo the new phone or buy a cover". I asked to speak with the manager. after 20 mins, the manager did not come out and he said they will throw in the cover, but we still had to buy a more expensive phone than needed when infact we had one reserved. read more

We went into this store looking to sign up for one of AT&T's double data plans that we saw on their website. When we got there, we were told that the plan didn't exist in their system, even though we were still able to show it to them on their own website. Generally, this is where someone would start a very negative review about the company, but this review is about the store itself. The employee that was helping us went absolutely above and beyond in her service. She contacted their corporate tech support and customer support departments to ensure there wasn't a plan she was over looking. Several hours into it, she continued to keep a positive attitude while her own people in the corporate departments gave her the run around. She then helped us get a plan that was sufficient to our needs and similar to the plan we were looking for at acceptable monthly price. Even the store's assistant manager got involved in our case and he was also decent about presenting viable alternative options. In the end, we didn't get what we were expecting or wanted, but the effort and care put forth by the staff helping us was greatly appreciated. They didn't actually call us back to follow-up with us like they said they would, but in person, the service was pretty good. I don't recommend AT&T as a company because they suck, but the people working at this store are pretty decent and if you have to go into an AT&T store, I would recommend going here. read more

Just walked into the store where I purchased the last 3 iPhones and they are of no help with saving voicemails, helping with battery issues, knowledge of apps, and had really poor customer service. It seems they are in the business of selling phones and getting rid of the customer afterwards. At least, they weren't rude in sending me on my merry way. read more

I was not pleased with the online ordering to pick up your device at the store. Do not do store pick up! They will sell you refurbished products. I paid full price for a new cell phone and was given a phone that was not in its original manufacturer box, it came in a AT&T box.when I got home it took less then a day for it to start freezing and on some apps I found contacts. My friends ordered the same product as I did to their house and their product came in the manufacture original box. read more

AT&T Store, 2200 Louisiana Blvd NE Suite 8c, Albuquerque, NM 87110 - 505-830-2720 Worthless!!! Why they bother to list a phone number is stupid. They don't EVER answer it... I put in a call at 7:15pm... well before they close. I get a stupid recording that when I finally get to the "Press 1 to talk to a representative", it rings 4 times, then goes back to the recording, I press one again, rings 4 times, then back to the recording, I press one for the third time, and it says connecting you now, then goes to a dead line..., Hung up, and tried again... Each time it was the same thing... They must staff the place with dead people, because no one ever bothers to answer the phone. With that kind of service, I WILL NEVER set foot in that store, and I will NEVER purchase an AT&T Phone for service. The worst part is I was calling from Work, for a Business type service, but my business, and any future business I work with will never use AT&T. Worthless... Oh and for the record, I called nonstop until the 8:00 Closing time. I had enough time to write this entire review, 45 minutes of trying... If I didn't really need to talk to someone I would never have bothered, but now I will tell anyone who asks me about AT&T This story and relate to them that it's retarded to even waste your money giving it to AT&T. Went there to get a new phone after my old one broke. Decided I would try to stay with AT&T, but they make it hard. I told them what I wanted and they talked about "upgrading" my phone. I didn't really want an upgrade but the terminology is what they use, and they charge $25 for an upgrade. I asked if I had to pay $25 to stay with AT&T and he said yes. I said "then I guess I won't stay with AT&T." He said, "OK, let me get the door for you." I took that as an extremely rude comment; it's not like we were near the door and he was just trying to be polite. I wish places like these had managers that cared, but the people in chains have no control over what they can offer, so there is no customer service. But to be rude is just unacceptable. read more
