I was helped by Chelsea at this store, and she seems to have the "bait and switch" move down to a science. I was lured in by the $35 per month 5G internet, so I switched my internet and my phone. Once I signed the dotted line, that was the end of any customer service. Chelsea got her commission, and that was that. What she never mentioned is that Verizon does not have a tower in New Mexico, and there's no plan to build one. We're all using the tower in Phoenix. She also didn't bother to set up the my router to my address. It was set up to some other address in New Mexico. Not that it mattered, the speed never got any better. This is the absolute WORST internet and phone service I've ever had. I think even my first generation dial-up AOL was faster than the supposed "5G" internet Verizon gives me. I literally have to type in a website address, then walk away and do something else for 5-10 minutes -wash dishes, walk the dog, whatever - and if I'm lucky, the site will finally have downloaded by the time I finish. Forget navigating around! It took me over 2 hours to pay 5 bills online. I was damn near in tears from frustration. I have to call the customer service line to "troubleshoot" my internet issues every single time I want to use the internet, which is daily. It gets better for about 5 minutes, and then it's back to the same turtle-with-a-broken-leg-speed. I don't know what I'd do if I was still working remotely. It would be impossible. The phone service is even worse. Every single person I call says my sound goes in and out, and I drop every other call. I cannot even entertain the idea of a zoom call. Anything with video takes up too much bandwidth and it drops within seconds. RUN from this service!!! Seriously! It's not worth the money you save. read more

My old phone died & I got my new one at this store because the kiosk at Costco across the parking lot had very limited on-hand stock. I was lucky enough to have William at this Verizon store help me through the choices & options. What a great guy to have serve you!!!! He's friendly, engaging, informative, queued into what's needed when, and made the whole sales transaction smooth & actually fun. This store is NOT customer oriented. The manager doesn't want to help, never smiles, and can be argumentative. He is not helpful. He tries to blame Apple for everything. The female "specialist" never smiles and can be combative. You know the type - they don't listen to you, then become rude. I had to call Verizon online, get them to understand and solve my problem, then document everything before I went to the store. Showed up and waited in line for 10 minutes before someone came to check me in. 1 person left the store and they didn't take the gentleman in front of me in the store that had been waiting for 30 minutes before I arrived. Waited 45 minutes and I was never seen. The lady behind me 71 years old lady made an appointment for 12:00 and 15 minutes after the appointment they came out and told her it was going to be a while. read more

The wait was over an hour first thing in the morning with, what I thought, was a very small staff who all seemed very rushed. Had to ask to explain things to me over and over because it just didn't make sense, the explanation of what I was paying for and the services was terrible. And when I asked they laughed as if it was funny. I had to bring back to the store an item sent to my home and charged to me that I did not order (inconvenient) and when I took my husband in with me a third time to get an explanation of our services, the associate pretty much acted as if I was incompetent. This is not a reflection on this particular store or it's employees but the Verizon Corporation itself. While Verizon is offering a discount to doctors, nurses and EMT's during the Corona pandemic,they have refused to include respiratory therapists in this program. Respiratory therapists are on the front line during this trying time and are critical in the fight against Corona. My son-in-law who is a respiratory therapist was lead to believe he would receive this discount but was later denied. Shame on Verizon. read more

2 star average out of 24, now 25 reviews. What does that tell you? This is a corporate store too! Our terrible experience began with Verizon doing bait and switch on their online products. I ordered an IPhone 7 plus and they sent an IPhone 7. They acknowledged the error when we called but wouldn't honor the price per month that was on their own website. It took forever for them to finally honor the product for the price shown. Hours chatting with the online person. Then we had to return the phone due to their error and they said to take it to a store or drop it off at UPS. We went to the closest store to us and they refused it saying they're not a corporate store. Then we went to the closest CORPORATE store and then Juan, who didn't stop flirting with a female customer refused it too and was very rude stating that it is corporate policy that they didn't take walk in customers after 6pm. This isn't shown on their website or noted on the door. This is a busy store and I appreciate that it takes time to help customers, but then change your hours to end at 6 and help whoever is left. This store is usually pretty good, but we will not go here again. Once our contract is up we will be looking at other providers. We have been loyal customers for decades btw. read more

The store is severely under-staffed. I waited outside for 20 minutes before they came out to check me in. Once they checked me in they told me it was going to be at least another 45 minutes of waiting. They had two staff members helping customers and another two staff members checking people in (or watching people when there was no one to check in). After waiting 90 minutes, I left without being helped (I was able to obtain another way to complete my business). read more

After switching our service to T-Mobile last month, I needed to get a copy of my last bill so that our new provider could pay off device. (FYI- Not available to get online due to limited access to our online account after we moved our service.) Walked in and asked Steven if he could help me with printing a bill. As he is walking away from me, he rudely asks "do you not have a printer at home?" Apparently Verizon is losing lots of customers to T-Mobile and he knew what I was asking for and was less than happy to help me. Mumbled under his breath about how it was T-Mobiles fault for making it so hard. After I explained exactly what I needed and explained my frustration with the limited access to our account, he says, "normally we charge $5, but I'll go ahead and print for you." I guess I should be thankful for the $5 he "saved" me since Verizon has been raping my checking account for 10 years. Makes my decision to move service even more clear. 7 months later, I still have an unresolved billing issue. Myself, my father , and my girlfriend have together made 15 trips in the last 3 months to the Coors Verizon Store. Every time we leave we're assured the problem has been fixed, yet I continue to get erroneous bills in the mail. I'm so fed up with Verizon that I am currently researching other carriers. I'm not sure if it is employee error or software error, either way I'm done getting jerked around. Rudest employees I've ever met in my entire life. I went in because it was time for my upgrade. I knew what I wanted and called to make sure it was in stock ahead of time, so all I needed to do was get my SIM card switched. I was waiting in line for 20+ minutes when I asked an employee if there was anything I could do to hurry it up and he said no. I noticed that the employees were just sitting there waiting for the customers who were just looking at phones. I knew my transaction would only take 5 minutes so I asked again and I was told that I was rude and when I said "wow I need to speak to a manager" he replied "I am the manager now get out of my store" and kicked me out. I later found out that after filing a complaint that he was not the manager. I wish I could give no stars. read more

I was in this store a couple of days ago to speak with someone about my broken phone and what my options were. After a 35 minute wait i got called and started to explain to this man what my problem was with the phone and his response was "so what do you want". Very unprofessional to start and then when i said i wanted a replacement he proceeded to tell me they didnt deal with that there. Then when i asked him about my phone bill he also said that they didnt deal with that there and that i would have to contact 2 different services over the phone in which i did and got transfered to 7 different people and never got a new phone. Horrible service! Horrible, cheap products. They try to sell you everything in the store and lie about how great it is. They are complete scammers. They sold me a phone cover and and charger that weren't compatible with each other. I had to go back in and get a refund and after they admitted that the charger wouldn't work, they gave me hard time about a refund. The cord to the tablet broke in one week and I am very careful with my electronics. The screen had a scratch within days after they promised it would last the life of the product. They wouldn't exchange or refund those and blamed me! Never again. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. By far the worst customer service I have ever received, and having worked in retail industry, I'm usually pretty understanding of the many possible reasons for less than stellar customer service (e.g., not enough staff to adequately greet and take care of the customer's needs). However, there were NO reasonable scenarios for the completely terrible and unethical service my wife and I recently received at the corporate Verizon Wireless store on 9935 Coors Bypass NW, Suite E,  Albuquerque, NM 87114 (referred to hereinafter as "Store"). A couple weeks ago my wife and went into  the Store to upgrade my iPhone 4. We were helped by a female sales associate (referred to hereafter as "She" or "Her"). She told us that the $200 trade in had passed, but we could a $100 trade in value for the iPhone 4. My wife and I accepted that However, the iPhone 64 gb twas not in stock, so we ordered it through Verizon. Since the $100 phone trade in credit had to be done in store, She offered to give us the $100 credit when we brought the iPhone 6 into the store to be activated. The iPhone 6 arrived on 11/29/14. We brought in the iPhone 6 and my old iPhone 4 to the Store on 12/1/14 to activate the iPhone 6 and get  the  $100 trade in credit for the iPhone 4. A very nice gentleman/sales associate greeted us (referred to hereafter as "He" or "Him"). I had a classic dear in the headlights look, and said "you're kidding.", when he told me that I would be getting only a $25 credit for my iPhone 4, and that they had a $100 credit for the iPhone 4s. I told Robert of what been represented to my wife and I by Her. He went to go speak with Her. When He came back He told us that what She had apparently indicated to my wife and I was that that I was supposed mail the  iPhone 4  back to Verizon to get the $100 credit. I asked Him if I could speak with Her directly, She stood by her story and even added that at the time she indicated we would get a $100 credit, "we" (meaning employees who work at the corporate Verizon stores) have no way of knowing how much the price of a phone trade in will fluctuate on a daily basis. Fluctuate on a daily basis! Where did She pull that one out of? She was starting to appear as somewhat of shyster to my wife, and I. Perhaps She did not realize at the time that the trade in value was for the 4s and not the 4, and therefore should't have made her original representation But even presuming that She was confused on the value of phone trade in, wouldn't  a somewhat competent employee at a corporate Verizon Wireless store know the difference between the iPhone 4 and 4s? My wife then asked to speak with the manager.  It was reasonably clear from the first words coming out of the manager's mouth that he had no intention of rectifying the situation, which is arguably what any half-way descent manager would do to make a 6+ year Verizon customer happy. The manager's first words out of his mouth were something to the effect of, "Well, I've looked everything over..."  it would have been nice if the first words out of his mouth were something to the effect of, "It appear there might have been some confusion on the trade in value, but we like to make things right..." At this point, my wife indicted to the manager and Her that their behavior was completely unethical,. I promise you on my grandparent's grave (i.e., my absolute solemn oath), at NO time during our original conversation with Her did She even remotely mention: (i) that we would have to mail the iPhone 4 to Verizon to get the $100 credit , or (ii) that the value of the iPhone 4 trade in value would fluctuate daily from the moment we ordered the iPhone 4 with her though Verizon. Come on, why would we go through the trouble of ordering the 64 gb iPhone 6 for a $25 credit. We walked out of the Store with the iPhone 6 and iPhone 4.  It turns out that it might be just this store that appears to be somewhat inept at knowing the deals Verizon is promoting and providing quality service.Today I went to the Verizon store on Louisiana Blvd NE.  was taken care of by an awesome male sales associate who seemed very knowledgeable about the deals Verizon was having, and had a much more pleasant, straightforward and out-going demeanor than She did. Even the manager asked how I was doing. In fact, as I observed the entire store, all of the sales associates appeared to possess similar knowledge and demeanor that my sales associate. They just seemed to be a lot happier in general than the employees a the Coors Bypass store. Perhaps this is a reflection of management? No matter, it's clear to me why the Coors Bypass store rates a one star on Yelp, while the Louisiana Blvd. store rates  3 stars on Yelp. read more

Absolute worst customer service on the planet. We purchased what we were led to believe was a NFC tablet for a demonstration device for our retail store. It turns out it was the wrong device and my husband went to exchange it, not return it but exchange it. He was told that it would be a 70.00 restocking fee and no ifs ands or buts. They did not care if we were willing to do that or not. The mysterious manager was hiding in the back and the staff kept saying someone will be with you. Forty five minutes later he was still waiting. The take it or leave it attitude displayed by JUAN was disgusting. We have had this Verizon account for over 15 years, 3 lines, always upgrading, never asking for any other so called perks and when we are forced to do an exchange because DAVID the salesman did not know his product and sold us the wrong thing, we were penalized and treated with disrespect. I will be shopping very soon for another carrier and then Good bye Verizon. read more

Went into this store sith the intention of switching my service from Sprint to Verizon. My boyfriend and i were in there for 15 minutes and not one employee acknowledged us, it was almost like they were avoiding us. As we were leaving 3 of the customer service representatives just stared as we walked out upset. We left pretty pissed and ended up going to best buy and stayed with Sprint because of the whole experience. Will probably never consider Verizon again. read more

Some of the worst customer service I have ever experienced!!! We upgraded our service plan so we were able to go in and trade in our phones for new ones. I waited over an hour to be seen by an employee. The women I spoke to named Joanna was extremely rude and condescending stating that she had no idea what I was talking about once I finally made her understand what I was there to do she said in a very rude way that they were out of the phone I wanted and couldn't help me. She acted like I was inconveniencing and annoying her. I got so frustrated that I thanked her and walked out. When I spoke to my mom she told me to go back inside and give the phone to a manager, so I did. The managers name was Patrick, I explained to the manager what had happened and told him that his employee was very rude and unhelpful and gave him the phone. When my mom brought up that his employee was rude to me and that was unacceptable he replied "well your daughter was rude too". We have been loyal customers and pay way too much money to be treated this way. I was not rude until I walked back into the store, treat others the way you wish to be treated. I was appalled at the way the manager handled the situation, I can let it go if an employee is rude but the manager is there to take care of the customer and to be an example for his employees. And I don't care what anyone says THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I will never return to this location extremely rude, condescending, and incompetent all the way up to management. Verizon has the best coverage in my area. That said, the Coors Bypass store sets an all-time low score for customer service, product knowledge and plan knowledge.
