I went to upgrade my phone. I very specifically stated that I did not want my monthly plan to change. We finished the order and upon leaving the store I received a text stating that I had just signed up for Next Up. The clerk never asked me if I wanted Next Up and if he had I would have said no. I walked back into the store to question it and was told I would have to wait to receive the phone before I could cancel it. Later I realized the clerk had also signed me up for insurance protection which we had not discussed and he must have also changed my plan as the base rate was increasing $12 a month. DO NOT do business with this store. Andrew, the at&t employee I gave my phone too, has stolen my phone. I traded my phone in to him and 6 months later still have not received my credit of $700 that was promised. I have been into the store 4 times to address this and they have done absolutely nothing about it each time i have gone in. Allegedly they have no record of my trade in now? My next step is to file a police report about this. Please do not ever go into this store or use at&t. read more

I have found the staff here to be very helpful. When I tried to untangle myself from T-Mobile (which took almost a month), they stuck by me and provided lots of hands-on help. So grateful! Occasionally, I have been wandering about the Hill Country Galleria and my phone battery has gotten a tad low. I am not often appalled by people, especially during these times. But I have never in my life met ruder, more embarrassingly behaved CUSTOMER SERVICE representatives. They all seem really annoyed that you, the customer, have entered the store. They were blatantly unkind to an older woman who was having trouble with her phone and told her it was all her fault. Another called a couple "stupid" in front of me for overpaying their bill. They talk over you, don't listen to your requests and try to upsell you at every turn. They do not care about you as a customer. The manager spoke poorly of the other employees when they'd leave the room. It is clearly a toxic environment and I was immediately put off. I went in with my husband to upgrade my phone and they were, of course, out of the iPhone 13 in green. My husbands phone was fine and handled in store. The manager ordered mine to be delivered to my house the next day. It did not arrive, and Fedex said our address was undeliverable. Ok, fine, shipping issues happen, though we've lived here for more than two years and receive packages all the time. Called AT&T the next day, they said no problem, we'll ship you another phone. It also did not arrive. All of a sudden, there's a random phone number on our account. I drove to the store to deal with a real person and they "cancelled" both previous orders and ordered me a third phone to be delivered to the store. I have now paid taxes for a new phone 3 separate times, bc AT&T refused to do anything without payment. Go figure. The guy helping me refused to get the manager when I asked, even though that's who we'd dealt with before and knew our situation. "He will just make me handle it anyways, and this is what he would do," he said. He said that I'd "automatically get a refund and the random line would be cancelled once the phones were returned to the AT&T warehouse from FedEx." I'm not feeling too confident, especially since he came to this conclusion by making me stand there with my toddler for over an hour while he used my phone to call AT&T customer service (who I could've called myself from home) and pretended to be my husband, acting like this was his account. Also, I felt like the phones were lost in transit. Nothing about this plan seemed legit... When I arrived home after ordering the third phone, both of the previously lost phones were sitting on my doorstep. Wtf. I immediately called the manager at the store who asked me to bring them to him. This is my 3rd trip to the store. I returned both the phones, and then sat for 2 more hours on hold with AT&T customer service (at his request) trying to get my new phone which had already been delivered to the store activated, and account corrected. No one can seem to remove the two extra charges of tax I paid for phones I do not own, or the random phone line I did not authorize from my account, in store or otherwise. The manager apologizes and says he will handle it all from here, let me know when it's done via text, and sends me home. I never heard from him again. The next morning, to my dismay, a random new person at the AT&T store who claims to be one of the managers calls me to ask me to "pick up the phones I left there." I said "what??? Those were returns." Evidently the manager we'd been speaking to all along had been fired from the store the night before and "the AT&T store doesn't accept returns and ship them via USPS." I didn't ask them to be returned via USPS and AT&T provided us with the shipping labels, but he insists this is the only way. At this point I'm struggling to understand what it is this AT&T store actually does and I'm wholeheartedly regretting going there at all, ever. I now had to return to the store to pick up the boxes and ship them myself. Fourth trip. And get this. One of the phones is missing. The previous manager "could have shipped one back before he was fired," but no one can tell me for sure. The new person claiming to be a manager is in fact not a manager. I express my frustration and then I ship the one phone back that I'm given and am keeping my fingers crossed that in 2 weeks (which is apparently how long it takes for them to process this at the AT&T warehouse), I will have a credit on my account for the two phones I returned and the extra line will have been automatically removed. That is what they kept telling me at the store while rolling their eyes and implying that this is all my fault somehow. This morning I get an email: welcome to AT&T Protect Advantage. Which is evidently a $45 per month service that I did not authorize, speak about, or sign up for. Another call to AT&T customer service to remove. Asked for a manager, none were available and they'd call me back in an hour. It's been 2.5 and I haven't heard a peep. Avoid this store at all costs! And if it weren't so much trouble to undo all my AT&T devices, I'd cancel our service all together. Nothing has been resolved. read more

I went in to upgrade and replace a phone. I was helped by a sales associate, Bianca. She stated that I would receive $350 for the trade in phone. The receipt I received listed $65 as the amount I would receive. I pointed that out and she again stated that I could receive $350. We talked in circles. I asked for the phone back and didn't want to trade it in. She grabbed the phone and said it was too late it had already been processed. Throughout the processing I asked how much I was receiving for the phone, she said $350. I asked how do I know that? Finally she produced the receipt and I pointed out the $65 credit. She still would not acknowledge this fact . Insurance was added although I repeatedly said I did not want insurance. She said it was AT&T policy. She said it was the customer's responsibility to cancel the insurance. I called AT&T, insurance removed and the rep on the phone said that AT&T does not require insurance. read more

BUYER BEWARE!!! I was scammed at this location by sales person Bianca. I was told I was getting a promotion for purchasing a previous iPhone model that included a feee pair of AirPods. Once I received my iPhone through the mail it was the wrong size, color and model. I went to the store to exchange it however it was such an ordeal that I said I would just keep it. 3 weeks later I received my bill shocked to see that not only am I'm paying full price for the older model iPhone, I'm also paying for the AirPods and insurance plan. Which I never agreed to. I called AT&T - spent an hour on the phone with them only to be told there's nothing they can do because it's pass the return period. I went online only to find out that this happens frequently at these satellite stores. Rogue sales people that will tell you anything to get the sale - fully aware of the lack of recourse you have once you receive your first bill. read more

Hours aren't accurate on door or most paces online. I've wasted my Sunday morning because of this. New owners suck. They have crap for inventory and display, place looks like it was looted. Also, salesman told me to go to Apple and have the back of my phone fixed for $100 and I'd get $350 more in trade, he was absolutely wrong. It took me 3 days to get into Apple. Went into the store today to transfer my daughters phone over to a new phone. After waiting for an hour - helped by a completely rude associate Bianca - who wanted me to buy direct tv - or basically she would not help me. Completely rude and the level of attitude an 11 out of 10 - she needs some serious training and an attitude adjustment. 2 hours in the store to transfer a phone- and in not a pleasant way. Ordered two phones online with pick up at the galleria. The phones online is the current BOGO and was to give them $206 to walk out the door with the two phones. We got there and couldn't retrieve our order so we had to do the entire process all over again HOWEVER, it was going to be $385 to walk out the door with the phones. Employee didn't tell us that until after he ported one number. He said there was not a better deal, it was $385! Dude had to talk to the assistant manager at least four times to figure things out and in the end he totally messed it up. After we left the store we went online and again got the deal for $206 but because dude ported the number we couldn't get it back so now we have to have a new number. The Galleria location is clearly incompetent and money hounds because of the location. I do not recommend this location at all unless you want to spend unnecessary money and get someone not knowledgeable selling their products. I don't even want to give them a single star but I have to in order to warn folks. read more

As usual with every corporate owned ATT store, this place operates at a snails pace. Plan on being here for at least and hour but usually 2. Right now I'm sitting at 1.5 hours. Only 4 people working with 12 people on the wait list. Have watched 4 different people walk in, see the wait and leave because it's too long to wait. What's really maddening is that I place my order online and just need to pick it up but they make you get inline on the waitlist to pick up...what! read more

I'm going to be that odd person that gives this AT&T location a good review. Maybe it was the person I wound up working with when I showed up, who I managed to get on three different occasions. Any of the people working the door could have been a bit more on the ball catching customers and putting them on the list when you walk in the door. If you know you're looking for the person with the tablet aimlessly standing there near the door, get on the list. I wound up activating a new phone with an existing number, getting an older phone activated with a new number, porting a number to another phone, and even took advantage of an iPad Mini deal they had going on. While it wasn't the easiest process to go through, this guy knew what to do. He actually helped me find the best deal, knew all the offers I had coming at me, and did everything right the first time. I've been to plenty other AT&T stores (6th and Lamar, 360 and Bee Cave) that probably would have turned me down or had some incompetent employee create more hassle than necessary. If you show up at off times (later in the evening, weekend morning), I was rarely more than three people deep on the list. I can imagine if you get behind too many old people who don't know how to use a smart phone (I saw one employee at this location patiently helping this older couple get familiar with their iPhone and get it set up) or folks like me trying to shuffle a number of phones and numbers it could be a long wait. It's worth it when you walk away with everything you need done right. read more

We had the best experience ever at this store. My wife finally decided to upgrade her dinosaur phone to a new android smartphone. Paul the store manager spent several hours utilizing every trick in the book and then thought of something else..... At the end of the day my wife's contacts and text messages from years of use were transferred off the old dumb phone and transferred onto the new phone. The people were very understanding and helpful in teaching us various things about the new phone. I would give ATT zero stars if I could. I have phone, internet and uverse with ATT and besides being super expensive the service doesn't work. I've had 10+ tech visits over the last month and daily calls to tech support and no one is able to fix the problem. TV/internet will work for a few hours but then the problem will return. I have nothing against any particular AT&T location, but I have had tons of problems with the company in general. For starters, they give out HBO free at first, then start charging you for it, although you never asked for it. Recently, I was misinformed 7 times by a phone rep, yes 7 Times, which lead to me changing my device plan, and twice I've been promised that a supervisor would call me back, however I have received exactly zero calls. Stay far away from this classless company who will do anything or say anything to make a buck. Let's just sit back and watch the cord cutting eat their lunch. read more

Went to AT&T store in Bee Cave to order my wife a new phone, got talked into changing wireless plans to Elite (4 lines) Kevin saying it would save me money from my old plan. Turns out the new plan would be 30% more than my old plan and had features I did not want or need. He also said that the new phone would be delivered and installed at my residence. Of course this was not true as UPS just dropped the phone at my house. So there I am with a new phone and no way to use it. I figured out how to activate it and xfer the SE data to it. Spent 4 calls and hours on the phone to undo the wireless plan he talked me into and get one that worked for me. Tried to complain to AT&T and guess what, could not get through to their customer support. Their wireless speed is very good but their customer support sucks. Also their online payment estimator for future monthly charges is so inaccurate it is useless. Just not happy with their store personnel and customer support. read more

I am only giving this review one star because you have to in order to post a review. I made an appointment to discuss my billing nightmare until he store today and I am writing this review as I sit in the AT&T office waiting for the manager to come out of her office. I have had the displeasure of having to deal with Marissa Gonzalez as our service advisor today. She has been "researching" our billing issues with the manager (Sarah) for the last hour and have only come up with one excuse as to why my bill keeps rising each month. The manager refuses to come out of her office even after we called this locations General manager. The manager Sarah finally came out of her office and still have no issues resolved after being in the store for 2.5 hours. Now we are leaving with still no issues resolved and still and will have to call back to retentions and office of the president to get our issues resolved completely (If at all possible) This was a massive waste of time and effort of even attempting to get our mess of a bill straightened out to where we should be charged the correct amount each month without having to call and wait on hold for 2 hours each month to get our bill fixed. The manager nor the service assistant could see why or where the extra charges were coming from on our bill. Needless to say we will be canceling all AT&T services as soon as our contract is up in 10 days. Horrible customer service and I hope I never have to deal with this location again. read more
