My elderly mother went to this store in the hopes of just getting a basic iphone. Instead, they up-sold her on everything imaginable, on MY account. They changed her plan to the most expensive one they offer, filled with features of which she will never use. Tacked on a bunch of add-ons like AT&T Next, which she has no use for since she is paying for the phone in full, and AT&T Turbo, which she also has zero need for. They also up-sold her the most expensive iphone and promised her a "$350 Reimbursement" for the phone she traded-in that I have yet to see. Absolutely egregious business practices, I cannot express enough how sickening it is for this establishment to take advantage of elderly women. I strongly recommend avoiding this place like the plague. read more

I had a terrible experience at the AT&T store at 2510 S Telegraph Road, Bloomfield Hills, MI 48302. The manager, Jon, was extremely rude and unhelpful. I recently traded in my iPhone 13 for a $700 off promotion on the iPhone 16. When I asked Jon to show me the trade-in deal information on AT&T's website (due to a past issue where I didn't receive my full credit for 3 phones), he refused to help and was very dismissive. He even threw my phone on the table when I asked him to find the information on the AT&T website. Jon told me it wasn't his job to assist with this and claimed that previous bad experiences were due to other employees not representing AT&T. Fortunately, another employee, Aayan, quickly found the information I needed in under a minute and was polite and professional. Jon's behavior was unacceptable, and I believe Aayan should be the manager instead. read more

Before you switch your service as I did must read!!!!! I went switch all family phones phone service to one account. We shopped all local service providers and AT&T had the best offer. We walked in and turned in four IPhones for new ones. At the time AT&T had a great deal! Turn in our phones from sprint (owned) and get upgraded to AT&T new IPhone 13's. Our new proposed monthly bill was approx $246. The first bill came, the bill was right on the money. When the second bill arrived we were at 300+ due to "prorations". Month 3-4-5-6 I am being charged $275+. After over 12 visits and promises nothing has changed. I called AT&T directly and the said that one line doesn't show a device turned in!? I have turn in receipts that ATT doesn't recognize. They ask me to get tracking info from store. At the store they say they don't have access to such info. Employees there know and acknowledges their is an obvious mistake made. As of Jan 2023, the manager who helped is no longer employed there and on my last visit they added my name to several others who are having the same issues. In short, we are being charged $30 a month for a phone they acknowledge receiving. Every time I walk in that store, the employees promise I will be called back and the obvious mistake would be rectified. Has anyone else this issue? I just recently learned this location is a franchise. Never once received a call back. Legitimate AT&T representative please help !?!? read more

I went in to get a new phone for my daughter's birthday and was helped by Danny. My husband I were greeted upon walking into the store and immediately helped. The store the was clean and well stocked. I was able to get the exact color iPhone and at a fair price. Danny was beyond helpful and didn't try and sell me anything I didn't need. He even went through all the differences between the 2 models and we decided on the 12 mini over the 13 mini. Danny was through going over the changes that would happen to our bill so that there would be no surprises and gave his card in case there was so he could fix it. Overall the process was smooth, quick and I have a very happy birthday girl today. read more

I added a line and was told I would receive a free phone. 6 months later I am still paying for the phone. The manager avoided me when I returned to the store & was told by another clerk that the employee who set up the deal no longer works there and they can not help me. The clerk said I should call customer service and threaten to close my account. Poor management & poor customer service if problems arise. read more

Beware! They are going to promise you anything. Whatever your needs are, go to another store. They will promise you anything to get your signature on the contract. After the sale you are on your own. I have been trying to get them or AT&T to fix the problem with the price. All they do is saying you will get the adjustment next month. It has been 4 months now. I am seriously considering switching to T-Mobile. Worst service! read more

My boyfriend and I went into this particular AT&T store looking to upgrade our phones from a Galaxy Stellar to a Galaxy S4because the technology of the later generations have more intuitive low vision software for the blind. We were told the S4 was unavailable but they had the most recent model which is the S5. Rob and the trainee, Farah, went through the whole rigamaroll about how much we would save with the new phone and the deal they would be able to give us. Let me tell you, they don't have seats at the counter when discussing a wireless plan for a reason. After spending 3 hours in the store trying to get the account activated after numerous computer "glitches" as they put it;worn out; we finally got our phones. Then we got our first bill... We did not get the deal we were quoted at and we were charged an extra $100 per month. We called customer service explained the situation and they said it was due to a computer malfunction. So after deliberation on keeping the phones we decided to return them within the 14 day return period. It was stipulated that we would not owe for the lack of usage of the phones which was only 7 days and would only have to pay the restocking fee at the store. After going through the motions and returning back to Verizon we were still getting a bill from ATT and the original bill amount was climbing. Apparently someone did not cancel the account and the bill was past due and sent to a collection agency. Mind you we called customer service and asked how to resolve the issue and were told to go back to the store and have them confirm the return of the phones. Even though it was confirmed before. Long story short, we were told by the store salesperson, Rob, that he would take care of it, but he didn't. He basically blew us off and did not follow up on his promises, again. 3 months later and getting many different answers from many different ATT employees we still had to pay $130 on the account even though we returned the phones and cancelled the account within 14 days. Note: Sales representatives don't act like your best friend anymore when they know they're not going to get that commission check due to their own dishonesty. All and all, stay away from ATT unless if you'd like to develop nice case of stomach ulcers and spend countless hours and a considerable hunk of change getting swindled. A piece of advice: Bring a notepad and pen and write notes as the salesperson talks, because they will throw a plethora of "information". Make sure they give you an itemized writeout of what they're quoting you at and if you have any second thoughts, just tell them you'll think about it. They've already gone through their sales pitch so all you have to do is decide and return (or not) and make the decision. This will save you a lot of time and perhaps a stroke. read more
