This place looks nice and the employees are friendly and helpful but it's a fah-reaking nightmare. They apparently know nothing about AT&T's billing policies because three of us were set-up with smartphones/regular phones/ipads on various plans (within a family shared plan) and the bills every month have been wrong. So we call AT&T and find out the set-up was wrong or we were given misinformation. It's happened for three months straight now I got set up with a phone line and data plan for iPad and the guy (Jorge, I believe) did pretty much everything wrong so I had to get on the phone with AT&T for a half an hour to fix it all. And we're still mis-billed monthly (as in, billed differently than what we were told at the store, the store being the incorrect source of info). I'm starting to suspect they tell you what you need to hear at the store and figure once you're all set up, you're not their problem anymore. Be very careful purchasing from here and maybe do your research before online or by calling AT&T. Otherwise, be prepared to get to know the customer service peeps on the phone very well... you'll be chatting with them once a month. read more

Longevity is meaningless after many years too many to count my daughter decided to move on to Sprint ( she's an adult her decision) I called AT&T to drop her line and just keep mine after David repeated himself twice to ask if I'd like a watch or tablet he let me know that since my billing cycle had started a full 5 days ago I'd be responsible for another bill or risk being "pro rated" which could cause my bill to "go up or down " he had "no way of knowing " what did "I want to do" he repeated this about three times which annoyed me. I let him know I felt I was being screwed he didn't replied. What is VERY UPSETTING to me if I've had AT&T since they were Cingular and back again I also have had Directtv and now U-verse it's a slap in the face to have to pay an additional fee instead of the 5 days the phone was in service which by the way wasn't being used. 1st visit was great. She was super friendly, knowledgeable about the phones, and wasn't pushy or driving me to a particular phone. The overall process and service was 5 stars. Here's where it gets a little complicated and where I would love to give 2 stars but because the 1st visit and the call to customer care were 5 stars I had to come up with the overall average rating. I felt good about my purchase for about 30 minutes when I wandered into Wally World to get household cleaning items and found the phone for $102 less than what I just paid. Huge difference. I wasn't sure if they would help me or not but I was told I had up to 30 days to return the phone. An hour later - I'm back in the store - I ask them what I can do to return the phone and buy one at the other place. The guy took my phone and disappeared for about 5 minutes. I felt like was at a used car lot and they guy had to go talk to his "manager." I realize I didn't go to various stores looking for the best deal, etc. but after being a customer for 12 years (AT&T, Cingular, AT&T) and never complaining or having issues I just wanted to a chance to save $100 and I felt it didn't hurt to try. He reappeared and said I could return the phone for a $35 restocking fee, I would still be charged the $18 activation/upgrade fee, would have to pay the $18 again at Wally World, and they wouldn't release my account to be upgraded for about 2 weeks. So I couldn't even go to Walmart for two weeks... Really? *sigh* He made it clear they weren't going to take the phone back without all the charges etc. and I should just keep the phone because it would cost the same amount to go through the refund process in the end. I asked for my phone and said I would be back in a minute. So... I walked outside called 611 customer care, explained the issue, I even took ownership for not doing my due diligence in researching the costs at various retailers - I met the "oh golly, you betcha, oh dear" gal from somewhere up North and within 5 minutes she credited my account $113. She explained to me that the store could have done this for me and that I wouldn't have been charged double $18 upgrade fees and because I was returning it on the same day within a couple of hours they shouldn't have imposed the $35 restocking fee or put an upgrade hold on my account for two weeks. She kept apologizing over and over again for the way the store handled this. I understand the **store policies** but I have an issue with his overall delivery of the message and customer experience. Then she walked me through the entire new set up and answered all my questions. I had to bring my 2 kids with me and she was so good with them too! I see the bad reviews but that was not my experience when I picked up a product ordered online. I understand all cell phone places have a wait time and AT&T is no exception. I showed up around 4 on a Monday and noticed a lot of folks waiting. When speaking to the person checking people in she seemed very robotic and didn't look up while speaking to me or answer my question in a straightforward manner. This is the reason I subtracted a star. She could show a little bit more enthusiasm to people walking in the door. I opted to come back because like many other reviews address, you don't want the kiddos waiting that long. The next morning I returned at 9am. I was in and out within 15 minutes. It was painless. I have had services here and it has only been a nightmare. They are always finding ways to charge you where it doesn't need to be. They are super scandalous and never take responsibility for their errors. This store in particular the manager John lied to my husband and I about the cost of a plan we changed to. Signing with AT&T can be equated to signing a deal with Satan Inc. This company is built on pure deception. Fast forward 4 months from the moment you sign a contract and you'll be wishing you had access to a time machine. I moved to Cedar Park from Canada requiring Cell phones and Internet. I have been back the store over 14 times in the last 4 months sorting out billing issues. They have overcharged me almost $1400 in the first 2 months of service. I have disputed these charges on multiple occasions and have wasted countless hours of my life trying to sort out Satan Inc's incompetency. They literally set me up with double accounts of everything and billed me for all of it. I tried to cancel my DirectTV this week because the 100 mb internet package they've provided me with keeps on timing out when trying to stream DirectTV. The cancellation fee?? $465. I would recommend lighting your clothes on fire and recovering from the burns in a bed of fire ants before walking into AT&T wireless and internet to do it all over again. read more

This store manager cost me the price of an IPhone Pro Max. I went in to replace a defective phone for a replacement under the 14 day buyers remorse. The online AT&T documented in my record for the them to replace my phone. The manager refused to look at these notes, declaring she was the authority and that I was not in replacement period. She wouldn't even check to see when the phone was delivered. I was put off by her contacting Apple & them jacking me around until I was out of replacement time. He should be teaching customer service to any number of other businesses. The only negative: We has to wait roughly an hour because we didn't have an appointment. You can easily walk in to any AT&T store anywhere in the country for your needs but this store is different. I have never been in this store where things went well. I have ordered a phone and told I had to wait hours in line just to pick it up. They want help you if you don't have your license and most of the time they just call someone else. It is amazing I can't get in my account with my account information including the pass code unless i have my drivers license but someone else can get into it and order a phone. My husband and I always come to this store. Most recently we came in one evening to upgrade his phone. We met Al and was so grateful for his expertise and knowledge. He was very thorough in telling us all of our options without overwhelming us. We ended up leaving with more than we came in for and that being said, we also left with confidence knowing exactly what to expect on our future bills. Went in because their promotion was if you switch to them and sign up for direct tv you'll get a free iPhone 7. After everything was all said and done, I was there for two hours. They ran my credit not only for the direct tv, but for the service with them as well. My credit showed no deposit required. So we continued on with the activation. Then all of a sudden the sales rep says there is a deposit required for the so call "free" phone. A $200.00 deposit to be exact. So this now free phone isn't free after all. The lady In store didn't seem to want to help us. She claimed the deal I was attempting to receive, was not happening at the moment. We've been with AT&T for 6 years and always had a great experience whether it was with our service or in-store with a rep upgrading to a new phone or adding a line UNTIL THE DREADFUL DAY WE MET AT&T REP, ALISA COLLARD. Oh yes, I am calling her out by name. That's how pissed we are about how she totally lied to us and screwed us. We had been grand-fathered into an unlimited data plan for the past several years and were totally happy with what we had. We had 4 lines, 2 of which were smart phones which were insured, and we paid about $165 a month total including taxes and everything. It was amazing. Well, we into the AT&T store because my husband wanted to get the Samsung Note 3. I had heard about some cell phone providers having programs where you could upgrade your phone much sooner than 2 years so I asked if AT&T had something simiar. She explained the Next program and how you could upgrade your phone every 12 months and pay $35 a month instead of paying for the phone up-front. We decided to it for my husband since he seems to want a new phone every 6 months. Haha. She then proceeded to tell us that the plan we are on, although it was unlimited data, was throttled once we hit a certain limit and that the newer plans were much better, faster and we would end up paying pretty much the same as what we were already paying. She carefully looked into our account and took out a piece of paper where she broke everything down for us giving us numbers that were very similar to what we were paying. How can this be, you ask? She explained that with the newer plans, our employee discount reaches even further making it possible to get a better plan paying about the same price. Pshhh, how could we not do it, right? We'd be idiots not to. I ask her several times, "are you sure we're not going to paying way more than what we are with this new plan? I know they don't offer these kinds of plans anymore so we don't want to lose a great thing." She assured me each time, showing me the piece paper she had written down those numbers on. Feeling a bit uneasy, we signed for the new plan. I got my next bill and it was over $302. WTF?!?!?!?! Ok.... I know we have the pay an extra $35 a month for the Next program. That's fine. And they always say the first bill on a new contact is slightly higher. This was much more than slightly higher, but I patiently waited for my next bill. $270! Over $100 more than what we were paying before. Oh hell no... this is totally unacceptable! So we go into the store to talk to a manager. He tells us that there is nothing he can personally do. He can't get us back on the plan we had before. He says customer service 'might' be able to do it, which means we will probably spend at least an hour on the phone calling customer service, being passed around from person to person only to find out they can't put us back on that plan anymore because it doesn't exist. Alisa Collard totally screwed us. I hate to think that the reps here do whatever they can to get the last of us all out of our old unlimited plans and try to entice us with some B.S. they're handing out, but after this experience, what else can I think? WE GOT SCREWED! Never thought I would want to leave AT&T until now. We are going to cancel all our cell phones, home phone and 2 internet accounts we have (1 here, 1 in CA) with AT&T as soon as we are out of any contract term. I went to this store for an upgrade and I used to work for AT&T years ago so I understand that it is there job to upsell. Don't bother getting upset about it, they have to or they can get fired. However, if you are going to upsell items you need to know what you are talking about. I initially talked to Sam and he was VERY knowledgeable and helpful. I went in again but we was off. I had a issue with my bill and I talked to the two dumbest people in the store. Amanda was the seller who just spent her time talking to everyone but ME THE CUSTOMER and the store manager Jon. AVOID THESE IDIOTS I went back a few days later, I saw another manager named Linda and seller Kendall. They helped me with all my issues and apologized for things that weren't even their fault. They are the reasons I gave 2 stars. I went to a seller who was newer named Gauge/Gage he was very friendly and sweet. I saw him trying and understood when he had to go ask questions. He was not the problem. Like I said in my opening statement, he was doing his job. and I know training at AT&T is horrible. Recently I went back because Gage/Gauge set me up with DirecTV and Digital Life. He brought out his used car salesman manager Samantha to make the situation worse. I WAS MISQUOTED, INSTALLERS DID NOT SHOW UP, AND NO ONE AT THIS STORE CARES BECAUSE THEY HAVE THEIR SALE. What I do NOT appreciate is being lied to for a sale. I was interested in the products, I did not need false promises and promotions. SAMANTHA is a crook. She promised all my phones, tv, and the security system WITH TAX all on ONE BILL for about 250. MY BILL IS 500 MONTHLY AND NO ONE can help any more to get the price down. They could not put the security on the same bill as the phone, they did not add the installments to this monthly quote, and they do not care to fix any issues. If you have to lie to get sales you are a horrible sales person. This store will shut down or should for fraud. I needed to replace my phone and since it was time to renew my contract I grabbed the family and took a trip to this store. I now know that this was a mistake. The initial experience was pleasant. I had my new phone and was getting it set up and then the manager stopped by and asked if we would like to move our iPads over to our AT&T bill instead of just the auto draft. I asked about any additional charges that would occur and was told there would be none, they would cancel our other auto draft and that we would receive a $100 credit per device on our next bill. I agreed, finished my business and left. In a few weeks I received a bill for double the usual amount. We had charges and services I had not approved nor been informed about as well as not receiving the $200 credit on our bill. I called the 1-800# and found that the stores work on commission and they hear regularly that the stores don't follow through with what they say. Also a week after that we realized that the auto draft for the iPad data plan had not been cancelled either. So I called the 1-800# again and it was taken care of without incident. From now on I will forget about going to the store and just call the 1-800#. Lesson learned. read more

Buyer Beware! This Cedar Park store manager and AT&T failed me when I most needed them. I purchased the AT&T International Plan through this store and it failed when I most needed it while traveling in Argentina a few weeks ago. My family was desperately trying to reach me after my Mother fell, broke her neck and died in the US. My calling plan would not allow me to dial out after I received notification of her death via WhatsApp, a competitor. For the next 24 hours until I landed in the US, my only avenues for communication were Facebook, Viber and WhatsApp. The paid AT&T International Plan simply did not work. Today, I went to the store seeking an explanation and credit but instead I was passed from associate to associate trying to seek a resolution from the store manager seated only yards away. Excuse after excuse was provided, including I had pushed the wrong data roaming setting, to crummy cell phone tower service not owned by AT&T in Buenos Aires as the culprit, to I had to pay for the service since it had limited usage and I was already three days into my 19 day international plan. The manager never did speak to me in person and after more than an hour of patiently waiting, I ended up leaving in distress. Buyer beware: AT&T does not stand behind this unreliable product yet charges you anyway. In addition, the Cedar Park Store Manager lacks compassion, sincerity and basic people skills. I was treated as an annoyance rather than a longtime customer. Skip the AT&T International plan and use reliable platforms such as FaceBook, now with a calling feature, Viber or WhatsApp. They at least are there for you during your darkest hour. read more

Came into this location to get a new SIM card for an iPhone. The service rep replaced the SIM card, but also changed all of the specs on my account. I had been grandfathered into a low minutes plan with AT&T and after the service rep "upgraded" my account without asking or even notifying me, I had to fight tooth and nail with AT&T over the phone to have my old plan reinstated. The service rep at this location also removed all data and messaging from my plan, so I thought my phone was just broken for 2 days before I figured out what had happened. I will never go back to this store, these people can't be trusted to be honest or even do a decent job at customer service. read more

by far the worst service I have ever gotten. They lied to my father about a promotion and tricked him into getting a phone claiming he only had to pay the taxes and the upgrade fees and trade in his phone and not have to pay anything else. Then when we called to verify the offer because the rest of us wanted to join, they said it isnt true and to bring the phone back and get our old (new ) phone back. So we get to the store, and the manager (Jordan Deshotel) was very disrespectful, my parents completely got tricked there and taken advantage of, and we explain to the manager the situation and he said we have to pay $45 dollars to restock the phone back and he wouldn't do anything unless he collects the money from us. I told him it was due to a misunderstanding from his employee. He claimed that employee was one of his better ones..which was very rude to say in front of another employee let alone. So they go to the back to get our phone back (almost brand new iphone 7) and he comes back after keeping us waiting, then says oh the phone is gone but i'll do you a favor and just waive the 45 dollars restocking fee but we can go ahead and look at other cheaper phones. Mind you no money back for our phone. He was rude and offensive and said even if we called 611 they can't do anything he would still do whatever he wants to do. I have never felt more embarrassed or disrespected in my life. The issue was not paying the monthly payment plan for the phone, because we just bought one for my mom that way and had no issue with it because we didn't get tricked, we actually signed up for it and knew what we were getting into. But on the other hand, with my dad's situation, he basically was lied to and taken advantage of due to him being not a native English speaker. I am so offended. I hugged the AT&T guy today. I got a new phone in July, I wanted to move from a 6 to a the 6S. I stressed to the sales guy that I wanted 64 GB and no less. I've been happy with it but then the phone started telling me I was running out of storage. I looked at the box when I was getting headphones out and realized he had given me 16 GB. I was not happy but couldn't find time with the kids to get back to the AT&T store. Eventually, I got there and a Greeter really wouldn't let me talk to anybody about my issue because it was past the 14 day return. It was very frustrating, she told me about Google Photos which I've since use to back things up and I appreciate the info but it didn't fix my storage issue. After much frustration I decided to go back to the AT&T store this morning and they were wonderful. Anahd listened to what I needed and fixed it. It was amazing and then he only charged me the sales tax to get the new phone and that was 8 dollars. He was so nice, he understood that I understand the policy and just saw it as a simple mistake and fixed it. No hassle at all, he answered lots of my questions while I was waiting. At the end, I was so thrilled to not have the daily anger of wanting to throw my phone out the car window that I asked if I could give him a hug. Huge customer service win!
