Took an iPhone 6 and an iPad 4th generation to have the screens replaced (we had dropped them and they were shattered). Screens were replaced quickly, but within 60 days, both screens quit working within hours of each other. They hadn't been dropped or gotten wet-just quit working. I took them back and the owner told me that he doesn't warranty any if his work-and to his credit, there are signs saying that all over his store. In hindsight, that should have been a red flag, but I just wanted them fixed. I wasn't about to let him have another shot at fixing my devices, so I took them to Phone Doctor of Austin on 620. They fixed them-for $25 less per device than this shop, and what do you think they found? The guy from Cedar Park Cell repair forgot to install about 50% of the screws in the iPhone-no wonder it didn't work. Do yourself a favor, no matter how convenient this place is, do not take any of your devices to them. Ok this cell phone repair shop has saved my rear end multiple times. The first, was when I cracked my screen and I was replaced the same day. Second, there was a weird iPhone update that would allow me access to my phone and he fixed it for a discount because he had remembered us coming in not too long ago. Lastly, I dropped my phone and I had no function to my phone. He fixed it in 10 minutes!! Not only was the owner kind and professional, but also very quick! I thought I had a good experience with this place. They replaced a screen on my iPhone 6 within about 30 minutes, and it worked great until it broke again (not their fault, my daughter is hard on phones). When it was opened for a new screen, MOST of the screws were missing from inside, with the screen being held by 2 screws. The ribbon connector cover for the screen was completely missing, along with all 5 screws. I wouldn't let these people work on my kid's LeapFrog, much less an expensive phone. IF A MECHANIC KEPT EXTRA PARTS FROM YOUR CAR YOU WOULD SUE. I see many other instances of this online. If y'all want, we should talk to a lawyer. I hate deceptive practices. There are a million cell repair places. That means, there are 999,999 other places to try that are NOT ALREADY NOTORIOUS FOR RUINING AND STEALING YOUR PARTS. The guy took 4 days just to log into my phone. Didn't work on it until I called him each day, otherwise didn't get anywhere. When he finally bypassed my password, he told me the phone was fixed, even though he never even looked into the actual problem (my web app didn't work). When I picked up the phone, he hadn't even tried it, and sure enough, it still didn't work. He told me to call Blackberry support to fix it, but still had the nerve to tell me I owed him $40. When I asked, "Why? What did you fix?" he got annoyed. I ended up not paying, but went away with a phone that wasn't fixed after having spent a week at this guy's shop. Overall he was rude, as well. No Way. This is the worst customer service I've ever received. After calling four times with no answer, I decided to stop by on my way home. The man was rude from the moment I stepped in the store and acted offended when I asked him if he offered a warranty on his service. Had to prepay for my iPhone screen. Was supposed to come from a local vendor but they were backordered and they had to order from another vendor. He led me to believe it would be there the following day. Meanwhile, a week went by. Finally heard that the owner had been sick but to come in for my repair as the part was now available. The repair left my Touch ID not working and I had to bring it back for him to fix, He did fix it and was not rude but slightly curt with me when I picked it up. They repaired my wife's iPhone 3GS screen in less than 20 mins, and it's perfect now. I can't recommend them highly enough. Worst customer service. No parts in stock. Requires full pre-pay before they would order the parts. Their Saturday hours are 12-2. I showed up at 12:15. The guy that was there never looked up from what he was doing and just said he couldn't help me. Apparently the phone guy was out and would be back any minute. 20 minutes later (over 30 minutes into their 2 hour day), a man walked in the door, walked past where I was sitting, and went behind the counter to eat the food he apparently was out getting instead of being at work at the posted time. By 12:45, a couple walked in and up to the counter. A few minutes passed by and the phone guy finally reappeared. I stood in line behind the couple and after they left he looked at me and said "I didn't know you were waiting for me." I wanted to say "Nope, just sitting here on a Saturday afternoon making eye contact with you as you beelined behind the counter to eat your lunch." At this point, it was 12:45 (they were suppose to open at 12). I told him I needed the screen replaced on my iPhone 6. He disappeared behind the counter (again). When he returned, he said he didn't have any and would need to order one and of course I would need to pre-pay the $139 fee (?!?!?!). I walked out and found a place that keeps pats in stock and will do it for $100. read more

I have had some good experiences here. My teenage daughter has broken the screen on at least 3 Iphones and he has always fixed them quickly and for around $50. Which I think is pretty good. Have not used any other services. read more

TL,DR I had a cracked screen and end up with no refund and an unusable phone. I left the phone there 2 times, everytime I picked it up something wasn't working right in front on him. The third time I was there to pick it up, it didnt work again.When I asked him again for my refund, he got upset and kicked me out of his shop, he yelled at me and got very rude & disrespectful even when I hadn't left the shop and showed him that he had done something wrong. As soon as I tried to SMS while in the parking lot, I noticed that the screen was not responding, it did not type all the letters that I was pressing in the keyboard. I got out of my car and went back. His response was "well, you asked me to change the cracked screen that's what I did and I cannot tell what the problem is because I tested it and it worked fine for me. Maybe you need to install some upgrade on your phone". Seriously? software upgrade? That clearly tells you that this man has NO idea of what he says he does. Long story short, I left the phone at his shop again, because he was going to get a "part that was missing". When I got back, I noticed that this time he had only replaced the screen, but the frame was still the same.I didn't say anything, all I wanted was my phone back. Again, I get on my car, put the SIM card back and as soon as the phone rebooted the screen didnt respond. So again, my phone didnt work at all. I immediately drove back (it had past only 10 min) and phoned him, but I got sent to the voice mail and when I got there he wasnt there anymore. I left a voice msg explaining what happened and that I wanted my old screen back and a refund. That a friend would be dropping the phone off on monday (it is closed on sundays). I also sent an email and asked him to call/me write me back. Apparently he has an email and a voice mail, but he doesn't even check it. When my friend got there he told him that he didn't know what he was talking about. My friend told him about the voice msg and my email. His response was " I have so many voice mails that I haven't gone through". So there it is, a terrible customer service. While in CA I tried to call him, the phone always sent me to the voice mail. I coudn't get a hold of him until after I remembered that I had his cellphone. I sent him a msg asking again to put my old cracked screen back and refund my money. He responded "the phone had a small piece of glass that caused the issue, I had fixed it and the phone is working like new". I went to his shop today, he gave me my phone saying that he had tested it and that it was working perfectly.However there was still an issue with my phone, this time I couldnt make calls, the phone had the headset icon on, which means that the phone thinks there's a headset plugged in & it wont recognize the mic nor the speaker. I told him what happened and he started to get upset and raised his voice saying that I was trying to make him fix other issues. That I was always coming back and asking him to fix "unrelated" issues. I told him, that I hadn't been gone that I was outside testing the phone and that I would expect my phone to work as before. My phone only had a cracked screen! He yelled at me to get out of the shop, that I was calling him a liar (which I never did). I even told him that he didn't have to yell and disrespect me because I hadn't done it and I was requesting him to fix whatever he had done wrong. He kept yelling at me and called the police, I got scared and left, he was so upset when I didn't do anything wrong. So basically I paid this unprofessional man to leave my phone unusable and, on top of that I got treated like a criminal because I requested a good service. I took my fiance's iPhone 6 in to get repaired yesterday, as it wouldn't take a charge. I was told that they would have to order a part, and it would be done the next day. I told the gentleman that she works in the airline industry, and was leaving bright and early the next morning. He called me back and said that he would expedite the part and have it done in a few hours. True to his word, the phone was repaired and working great, and the cost was very reasonable. **PLEASE READ AND BEWARE** This was the most unprofessional experience I have ever experienced. Huge problem with customer service and communication. 12/28/18 We took our iPad because the charging port was only working some of the time. You had to line up the charging cord perfectly for it to charge. We were told that it would be fixed by end of day 12/29/18 and would receive a text message. The charge was $139.89 and had to be paid before work could be done. We paid up front for the issue to be resolved. 12/29/18-We received no text message and we tried calling the business phone number and it went to voicemail repeatedly. 12/30/18 We went in to pick up our iPad believing it had been fixed. We were then told that an additional part had to be ordered and would not be ready until 1/1/18. 1/1/18 Closed for the holiday. 1/2/18-Called the business phone and received their voicemail numerous times. We did not receive a text or call. 1/3/18-We went in to the business to pick up our iPad. We were told a part had to be ordered and no additional charge would be applied and iPad would be ready 1/4. 1/4/18-I called, gave my name, and was told that my iPad was ready. We went into the business and our iPad was not ready but Jay's was. Who's Jay? I told you our name and you placed us on hold and then said yes it's ready and we could pick up. I was told that we need a circuit board, I declined any further services and just wanted the iPad back, I was told it would be ready 1/5/18. The owner stated that he would only charge for the new screen which was $45-50 with tax and refund me the rest which would be $89.89. 1/5/18-I came in to get the iPad and it was not ready and that another part needed to be ordered and this time a home button. I was told to come back a couple hours later and it would be ready. Finally received the iPad back with a home button that sticks and still not working. He again stated that he had the refund all set up and it would be issued back in the next 3 to 4 days. I asked if he needed my card number and he went back and looked and said is you card ending in these last 4 numbers, I stated yes, and he stated he had it and would refund me. It is now 18 days later and if you call you get the business voicemail. I agree with the other comments you do not get quality work if they are able to fix it. BEWARE!!!! On January 12, 2013 the owner of Cedar Park Cell Repair sold me an iPhone for $150. The phone had software so out dated that I was unable to access even the most basic of applications such as Facebook, Angry Birds, or even flashlight. After several attempts to update the software and receiving several error messages I returned to the store for repair, replacement or refund. When I returned to the store I was told absolutely no refunds and asked to leave. When I let him know that I would file my complaint on the Better Business Bureau (BBB) he walked to the back of the store and did not return until another customer arrived. After the customer left he returned to the back and called the police ON ME for criminal trespassing. The product was completely defective preventing me from recouping some of my loss by selling the phone. In addition to selling bad products I witnessed some of the worst customer service and business practices. Dwayne the owner, is a sorry man. About a month ago I stopped by and asked if he could fix my cracked iPhone screen. And he said it would be 80$ for the repair so I paid him the money upfront and he told me he will call once he gets the parts in.. Almost 3 weeks of me constantly calling and leaving voice messages, I finally stopped in to see why I haven't received a phone call.. He was absurdly rude to me. I'm 4'11 maybe 105lb. And he was telling me I have no right asking for my money back. He never repaired my phone and by the looks I it he wasn't planning to. After I told him this was the biggest BS ever he threatened to call the cops on my so I said go ahead.. Once the cops arrive they were very nice and understanding they went in and talked to him and after about 30 minutes the two police officers said he will give me my money back as long as i don't come back (no problem for me) The police offers seem to be called here a lot from looking at other reviews.. I have never been so disrespected and treated so bad. This guy has no management skill or customer services skills... Do not recommend at all!!!! I took my iPhone 6 Plus in to fix some screen issues, the owner assured me he knew the problem and said if he was wrong, it would have been the first time in his life he's been wrong about someone's phone. I had to pay upfront with no warranty. He put a new screen on fast, but it was faulty so he had to replace it, then that one was faulty so he replaced, and then he had to replace it AGAIN because that one was faulty too. And after all that, he didn't even fix the problem. My phone went right back to doing the same thing it did before I went there. So my brother and I decided to YouTube instructional videos on how to fix it. When we opened up the phone, we noticed that a huge number of parts and screws were missing from my phone. The owner of the store was the only other person who had opened my phone. It seems that he just got lazy and didn't put back all the parts because who would notice, right? Absolutely infuriating. Totally ripped me off. Take your products to Apple or their original manufacturer, even if the price is higher. Needless to say, my brother and I fixed the problem by watching YouTube. The owner of this business is dishonest. He orders his parts from Ebay and must use businesses that are the cheapest. It took weeks for the part to come in and we had to prepay $189. He screens calls and never picked up the phone when we called. When the part hadn't come in after a few weeks, I asked for a refund and he refused. We thought we would give it a few more days and the part showed up. He didn't replace the part, but soldered the chip and promised a refund of about 80 or 90 dollars. The refund never showed up! Do not recommend, do not use this service, do not use this person for repairs (here or elsewhere). The (apparently) sole employee is also the owner. He works short hours, inconvenient to a working professional (10am to 4pm), and he frequently does not bother to answer his phone. Entering the shop feels like an error - no one is inside to greet you, not even at the front desk. Eventually, when he does come out to greet, the estimate has changed - a 2 hour job with parts in hand turns into a pre-order (cash up front), which then turned into a long weekend wait. This was followed by: no phone call on parts arrival, 2-hour job turning into 3 to 3 1/2 hours, and faulty repair when done. Complaint about repair resulted in: No Refund, No Investigation for faulty workmanship, No Effort To Make Customer Whole. Maybe that's why he has signs posted all over the establishment about no refunds and all sales are final? I left with a malfunctioning phone. He said he'd never repaired a Nexus 5, and he still hasn't. Do no use. Go elsewhere, anywhere else. read more

I purchased a refurbished cell phone and was told that I had three days to change my mind. The phone was not easy to use and kept pocket dialing my friends. I went back to the business to exchange and he didn't have another smart phone. He said that he was expecting some i-phones in so I suggested to just refund my money until they came in. That was when I discovered that he did not allow returns (there was not a sign posted that I could see). He said that as soon as the iphones came in he would give me a call..did I hear from him..no..did I call him back ..yes and had to explain each time what I was calling about and remind him of his guarantee. Now several months later I have accepted the fact that I was screwed, I am dealing with a phone that I hate but have to use since I have money invested in it and can't afford another at this time.
