I spent close to three hours last Sunday trying to upgrade a phone at this location. I chalked the wait time to it being a weekend. I had to return to this location to turn in my old phone. That's all I had to do. It took me TWO hours from the time I entered the store to the time I left for a two minute interaction on a Tuesday. After about an hour into waiting, an ATT employee named Oppei walked up to me and asked me my name. I told him and he started to walk away. I told him, "hey buddy, I am just trying to drop off this phone. " He looked at me and without saying a word-walked away. Asian guy with a mask and obviously no customer service. Poor service. I waited for an hour just for an associate to BS around about my options for an upgrade. This associate told me that I have to wait 24-48 hours for my service to return if I used one of my lines upgrade (not my own line) to get the new iPhone 17, and tried to fool me in getting the internet package, which would then allow me to have service if I agreed. I went to another AT&T store the following day and walked out of there with the brand new upgrade in less than 10 minutes. I don't remember her name but Aala was really nice and she seemed like she knew what she was doing when she helped opened a plan for me and my sister, an issue happened and the number that was provided on the email was useless, so I called the store, they also provided me another number, which was also useless, so I called the store again. They told me to come in, he sounded very nice, a young guy spoke with me and said to bring my ID and my card, and that no one was there. It was closer to 6pm, so I thought it be pretty empty since they close at 8pm. Thought I was gonna be in and out, and that it was gonna be good night. Nope. Waited for about 30 minutes before they saw me, after I was called. I believe his name was Mateo, who helped me. Thanks for your help but you were... not of any help... you called the customer service line, of course they wouldn't answer, it was already 7pm? Your manager as well, he stopped to look at my phone for a few minutes and walked away. Barely said a word to me, just repeated back to me what I said. Mateo then asked me who was it who told me to bring me ID and card, I will say I should have asked for their name. That was my fault on my end. But it was probably him and it did sound like him on the phone, and to be honest, he probably just didn't wanna take the blame for it. To be completely fair, nothing was really any of these guys fault. But if you guys knew that you couldn't help me, why didn't you just tell me that over the phone. I'm am absolutely disturbed about my visit today. Yes, I got loud but if you could only understand my frustration. I have visited this location multiple times regarding a phone that I turned in. That complaint is going on another letter. This complaint is about the so called assistant manager James. I told this guy that I have been with AT&T for over 20 years , and this guy had nerve to tell me to go to T-mobile. I'm just trying to get the situation fixed on my bill. This store has failed me as a customer. When I when I originally came in the store, I asked for a manager, not an assistant manager . James told me to wait and I patiently waited for over an hour and a half. Lo and behold there was no store manager. It was him the "assistant manager" the way he spoke to me was unprofessional. He showed absolutely no empathy and wouldn't even look at the notes that were on my account. I placed multiple calls with customer service and he said that customer service does not know what they are doing. With the large turnover rate at this store they definitely need better management and training. The manager and employees that I dealt with a year ago are no longer there. Only a young Asian man was working from a year ago and is still working there. He is slightly aware of my situation. When I asked James for his last name, he wouldn't even provide it. He told me to have a good day dismissing me. He never provided me the store manager's name when I asked multiple times. read more

I don't really do that many reviews but wanted to point out a great experience I had at this AT&T store last night. After having a not so great experience at the Westlake store with the person there not being so helpful. I felt he was kind of being abrupt with me since I wasn't there to buy a phone. I decided to go to this store. I needed to get my plan updated and SIM card changed out. It was close to the end of the day and there were around six people before me. When it came my turn Aala was the person that helped me. It took some time to get what needed and I even had to make a last minute change to my plan. I feel like dealing with and buying a phone is like when you buy a car, the process always takes long. Although the process went past closing time, having to call support for security checks a few times, and trouble shoot a couple things, Aala was chill and patient. I never felt rushed or overburdensome. No pressure trying to sell me something else. I am thankful as what I needed got taken care of and it was important for an event I have for the weekend. I didn't have much time outside of that since I need all my time dedicate to other preparation that I need to do. Other workers that I interacted with while I was there also seemed friendly and helpful. So great overall experience and customer service. Thank you! read more

Came in here yesterday and I wasn't sure where to check in. There's a monitor that shows the check-in with a list of appointments and walk-ins, but there was nobody to check me in. After a few minutes, I went up someone to let them know I was here. I gave them my name and I noticed several minutes later that he put me on the list of walk-ins rather than the list of appointments which I realize now never really mattered. My partner gave me a new iPhone14 almost a year ago, but because I've been busy with other things I put getting it activated off and because of this, I didn't realize the phone was dead. When I was finally helped by a guy with a man-bun, it was only because I had to go up to the counter again to ask if someone could help me. This is after being in the store for already 15 minutes. He took my phone out of the case and told me it was dead and that it needed to be charged so he put it on a charging station. He was very unfriendly and said all of 10 words to me. Another 15 minutes goes by and it doesn't seem like the phone is charging so I get up again to let him know that the phone isn't charging. He then plugged it in to an outlet underneath the counter. So now I've been here for 30 minutes. When he finally comes back to me, he does a few things on my phone and then tells me to type in my Apple ID which I can't remember. All he says to me is I'm gonna need you to remember that and then he walks away and just leaves me there... again. It says on the phone that I can request a new password, but I was having issues trying to do that. It is now been 50 minutes that I've been there and he is talking to other people so I'm pretty much just left there wondering what I'm supposed to do. I finally get up and ask him if he could please help me. I told him that I've been there for almost an hour and that I haven't received very much service and this is with an appointment. I never raised my voice at him, but I did tell him that I felt like he was being very rude and that I was being ignored. Instead of helping me, he kept sitting there telling me that he wasn't being rude over and over. Then he told me I am the manager of the store. Almost like telling me that should put me in my place. Then he told me that I needed to leave "his" store. Sir, you are the manager of an AT&T, not the owner of a bank. I am so blown away by this experience. I have been with AT&T for over 20 years now, and this person was so rude that it made me want to switch carriers. Maybe they were understaffed because it certainly seemed like it. This guy was so short with me and so unfriendly and impolite that it also leaves me to wonder if he was having a bad day which could be likely. With that being said, I can understand that, but there's never any excuse to be rude. He could've just used his words a little better by saying I'm sorry it's very busy and l'll get back to you as soon as i can, but every encounter with him, he was short and impolite. I felt like I was bothering him the whole time I was there. I mean, that last experience that I had with him was the most time he spent with me the entire time I was in there for a whole hour. No one should be made to feel this way. Maybe he was having a bad day, but you never really know what's going on in someone else's day either. The sales rep immediately ignored us and helped a customer who walked in after us even if though the sales rep to help us first. He proceeded to help the other customer for about 10 minutes. Afterwards he walked right past us. I went to tell the manager he sucked because he ignored us. The manager subtly rolled his eyes and smirked. Spent over 4 hours at the store. Anthony assisted me with my verifying my identity and getting my SIM card working on my device so I can get my voice calls to work. Unfortunately at 5:30pm at night with less than 30 minutes remain the store will close at 6pm, th e Customer Rep that Anthony and I was working with for 2 hours, did not result in any positive outcome tonight. Customer Rep over the phone said to both Anthony and I that I will need to wait 24 hours, since my issue is NOT a hardware issue but something on the network. The Manager, Song, gave 2 SIM cards out today in an attempt to replace the SIM and later said I may need to update my data plan in order for my device to work. It alerted me that such a remark is does not sound right at all. Anthony later explains that the Mgr really meant to say I can pay less of I upgrade my plan but that does not help me get my device to work when my device have not worked for over 6 months which is the reason for me to try having a SIM card replaced per the AT&T Phone Rep I spoke with yesterday afternoon that asked me to go into a retail store to have that done. Walking out the store with still my device not working. Pending outcome tomorrow Monday if that will work then. read more

Not gonna lie i almost gave this location a HARD 1 star all because of service-almost. First of all, we went there 5 times within a span of two weeks. The manager/agent could not help us and just scheduled an appointment for us to come in since there was nothing he could do, that's fine I guess. We come into our appointment and we are still told to wait for 40 minutes AFTER our appointment by the SAME agent/manager that helped us the first time, why schedule an appontment?? The new agent that finally helped us got the ball rolling and was able to get majority of our numbers ported and was really empathetic of our situation. From there we really tried to avoid that other manager/agent but all the agents for the rest of our other appointments were incredibly helpful and got us situated and finally transferred in. There are some helpful agents, but damn that one manager/agent definitely made us want to pull out of at&t completely. Customer service could be better and honestly at this point just move to appointments only. They don't seem to have the bandwidth to handle appointments AND walk ins. read more

Terrible service. I went there because I found out the package that contained the charger wire was for an Android phone and not for an Apple phone. I asked the clerk if I can exchange it. The clerk said the Manager said yes but he's in a meeting and they need to clear it with him. I waited and I waited and I waited. An hour went by then the clerk tells us no that the 14 day exchange date had expired and there's no refunds or exchanges. Hey, I'm okay with the policy, why didn't they tell me when I arrived instead of telling me the manager said okay and that they just needed him to sign off on it. This is crap service, unprofessional and wasting people's time. We have better things to do with our time then sitting around for one hour waiting for the manager's approval. This had the unfortunate experience of needing to go to four different AT&T stores in order to return an apple watch and I can definitively say, this was the best of the bunch! I made an appointment online before coming (highly recommended) and was greeted by the manager within 3 minutes of entering (none of the other stores did this) and was being helped after only about a 5 minute wait. It took about 30 minutes to work through the process and there was quite a bit of waiting. During that time, I observed others entering the store and also being greeted promptly and unlike many other stores, there were several employee actively engaged in helping customers - not walking back and forth aimlessly or talking to co-workers. Due to AT&T policies, I was not completely happy with the outcome of my return, but the staff at the store was very helpful! read more

ATT app does allow to cancel internet service, makes it extremely difficult to reset your password on the app or online. So I went in store, and the person at the front does every single thing to deter you and not get serviced in store, then it's difficult to get the right person on the phone or accurate information. UPS is the only way to return equipment and just give your phone number, this should be general public knowledge on their resource website, or information from ATT in person. I had to drive the customer service by demanding and advocating for the information I need verfiied. The information I was orginally given was over simplified. Need to be trained better with better knowledge to solve problems and not create anymore as it turns out, my phone numbers were not matching, so now direct tv is not returnable even with the correct information. read more

I have been a loyal customer and my work has chosen AT&T as the carrier for our cellular service because we al work in the field. Good technical service indeed. I have been visiting this store for any needs including upgrades and all. As expected service has always been excellent. 2 days earlier I purchased a charger when I got home I found out it was the wrong cable he gave me. I came back to have a fair exchange for the mistake they did. I was met with a very arrogant, dismissive and rude demeanor. He asked for my drivers license, my account number which was never asked when I purchased the said item as if theyre making it difficult for me to return. I was so offended I just walked out and told him you can have this $45 dollar wrong item that your associate gave me. Is there a zero or 1/2 star. Pls don't get me wrong. I asked him if we can go to the low tables cuz my 82 yrs old aunt couldn't sit on the high chairs. He said no that it would be quick and had her stand. He gave my family and I the stank eye. Eventually we spoke wid the supervisor and she reassigned us to a guy name Adam Cuadra was excellent. I give him 5 stars, 2 snaps with a twist. Ho needs to be trained by Cuadra.
