I had tried to work with this store to set up an Internet and cell phone service for my parents and constantly ran into issues. They ended up setting up the Internet Air account but failed to be able to complete anything else and told me they would not be able to complete my transaction so I left. Apparently they never canceled internet Air and then I proceeded to receive bills from AT&T. When contacting the store to get help the representative, Angel, was extremely rude to me on the phone and offered me no help whatsoever. The customer service is a complete joke. Angel was so happy to be rude to me and dismissed me and I will never personally use AT&T for any of my services and definitely never recommend anybody go to this store for help. I had to go there three different times sat with them for over an hour each time and never got any resolution. Completely dissatisfied with this location and on top of that with AT&T. read more

I bought a body guardz screen protector for my ne iPhone 11 Pro Max yesterday and when i opened it today at 5pm i noticed it has a little crack above the front camera. I went to the store to exchange my $50 screen protector and the assistant manager BRYAN told me i had to go through body guardz and have them replace it. I asked to just exchange it since i just bought it and you could see it was damaged by the manufacturer. Bryan said no and i asked him to just return the screen protector then I'll buy it elsewhere he then refused to return my purchase. I told him that is against company police since as a consumer i have 14 days to return a purchase he said sorry and walked away. This is the worst experience i have ever had with AT&T and i will be making complaints to the highest level possible and the BBB. Stay away from this store and hope you never come across BRYAN. I needed some help setting up my new Samsung so I went in around 11 o'clock. As I was describing my situation to the man that greeted me, I was told to go to the best buy instead because "At&t doesn't offer tech support". Needless to say I was a little miffed at the fact the man, (that had no other customers to take care of since the store was completely empty at that time) did not even take a look at my phone and instead told me to look elsewhere for help. Had to come here to speak to someone face to face given the inefficient and complicated web the customer service center put me through. I already wasted 10 hours of my life dealing with that avenue and I was frustrated with no resolution. I asked for the Manager and Bryan heard me out and took a good 2.5 hours out of his day to deal with all issues and changes with all my AT&T services (wireless, home internet and DTV). Bryan directly solved some issues and navigated through all the customer service agent calls to get other issues resolved. A very professional experience and I only wish I went into the store first. And as I just became a direct tv customer she offered me the Samsung tablet for $100 which is the new promotion. Then was debating on digital life security signed up for .99 and instead of paying monthly $49.99 for the basic package the offer was $29.99 for as long as I keep the service. While The manager on duty, Marvin, was extremely helpful, the store associate Ava (girl with blondish, brown hair) could not even help out with the most basic issue. We specifically went in to have our phones unlocked, she did her thing, and then proceeded to tell us that it could take up to 24 hours. Fast forward another day, and nothing...after being on the phone with customer service and technical service who were both helpful, we learned that a follow up visit to the store was needed. Upon return, we learn 1) the sales associate never did anything despite her telling us she did and 2) the store doesn't process them and they are done online. Just poor training overall...but kuddos to the manager on duty!!! read more

Wow ... went there yesterday, and all I wanted was a phone, not a mortgage. These bozos kept me waiting forever! Two of the six, or possibly more sales people, were helping customers. The rest were busying themselves by walking around talking to each other. I became so annoyed that I left and ordered my phone off of the AT& T website. It took only minutes. So, I highly recommend looking at the phones at the store and avoiding the wait by using the comfort of your own home. The day before that, I purchased my iPhone at the Apple store. Those sales people are SO wonderfully capable. If you want an iPhone or an iPad, completely ditch dealing AT & T sales people, and go straight to Apple -- they are WAY smarter and faster!!! They will even help you setup your shiny new toy so you will still be happy and not leave minus half your day -- life is too short! read more

I became an AT&T customer 6 months ago. Service had been good. But lots of problems with billing! I called several times and spend hours on hold and speaking with reps with no resolve. So I decided to go directly into the Deer park location. I met with a excellent employee named Maria. I explained my complex problem with billing and I was totally exhausted and frustrated. She immediately said I can help you and emailed a specialist with my issue. For the first time, I felt hopeful. She was professional, calm, kind and reassuring. Everything that I needed. She put my cell number in her phone and said I will text you when this is resolved. A couple days later- it was!! What a sense of relief! She was concerned about me and as person as well my billing issue. You just don't see that level of customer service anymore. AT&T is so lucky to have her as an employee. She goes above and beyond. Was totally scammed by AT&T in Deer Park IL. They told me their new program where you essentially lease the phone by adding a small monthly payment would allow me to upgrade my phone anytime a new phone comes out. We went over it for over an hour making sure I understood what they were saying. I even gave up my unlimited data plan which I've had for years to get this plan.... Went to get the new iPhone 6 only to find out they totally lied. No upgrade for 18 months. UGH. I can't stand dishonest sales people. I went back to the store and told them essentially they need to give me a new phone or put back my old plan. No other option would work. They told me they would work on getting my old plan back. I've now been waiting for over 3 weeks trying to get my previous plan restored, still not happening. Getting the runaround from AT&T. I strongly encourage you to NOT SHOP AT THE DEER PARK, IL store. I've been with att for almost 4 years now and I make monthly payments over $500 per month for cell phones and uverse. I walk in to ask a simple question and their sales manager tells me I have to wait 45 minutes. I asked him if he can just answer me it's would take literally 15 seconds and he said he can't because he is with another customer . He was so rude and didn't even want to talk. This is ridiculous! I'm seriously considering switching from att because of that dude. His name is Kevin hope he gets fired. I'll report him to the headquarter of att if they don't do anything im switching.. RUN! Do not walk - to another ATT store. I was moving to the Lake Zurich area and went in there 5 WEEKS prior to moving. Started the order. Due to countless supposed issues was unable to schedule an install date which was very specific due to my son's medical conditions. We are now days away and found that they can not set up install until 1 1/2 weeks after we move in because they do not know how to process orders properly. I have spent over 24 hours on the phone or in person with these guys and I should have know better. Even corporate acknowledged they screwed up. Due to this - I am now over at Comcast. read more

I picked up the new Apple Watch Series 3 with Cellular from the Apple on release day and had trouble activating it. After about an hour with ATT tech support I decided to go into my local store. I dealt with a lady named Ariana I think. We worked on it for about 30 minutes before she took the initiative to get me back to work and handle it for me while I was gone. She was a bulldog on this. I told her I had conference calls to get on so she even started texting me updates throughout the day. I haven't seen very many retail team members attack adversity as she did! As a retailanager myself I would love to have her type of tenacity on my team! Just wanted to give out a sincere thank you to her for attacking my problem for me. It didn't even get fixed that day but just knowing she was doing everything she could to get it fixed gave me peice of mind.
