The store opens at 10 am but when I got there with my 93 yo mother in law employee Bryan said we'd have to wait till 11:30 or we could call a CSR to discuss her bill doubling. We went to Philz for coffee came back at 12:30 and the manager hadn't come in yet. We called the customer service number but when we requested from the answering machine billing questions we kept getting a loop. Bryan told us we should just keep asking for a customer service rep it takes about five times he said to keep asking. We're going elsewhere xfinity. read more

This specific occasion, BRIAN H. was an actual human who listened to what was needed AND also helped accomplish it. Rare at these stores in this capitalist society lol. I bought a new iPhone 16 about a week ago. Some reason I couldn't transfer my e-sim to the new phone (I miss physical SIM cards) so I made my way over to this store and they took care of me and got my new iPhone to work in a few minutes. I wish I could give 0 stars! AT&T is garbage! Their bad policies have lost them two customers. We rarely get new phones, so upgrading our phones was a really big deal. I am a teacher and make my phone stretch as far as possible. I finally waited for a good trade in. We updated our old plan to get these phones. They went to deliver them to our house and UPS didn't even bother ringing the bell or knocking and they ended up being sent back! We notified AT&T and they said they couldn't do anything, except return the phones without the promotion we had waited for. We spent HOURS AND DAYS ON THE PHONE WITH THEM. They all said they could do nothing. So now we have a more expensive plan and no new phones. BYE AT&T after 9 years. read more

AT&T absolutely SUCKS!! We have been trying to get them to help us resolve a problem with our new APPLE IPHONE for 4 days now (10+ hours) and still haven't been helped. They don't know anything at the store and keep calling for help while you sit there. Then, after 90 min. they give you a card to call customer service! They then try to sell you AT&T Fiber. Important: this is a review of the management and business practices, not the individual sales people. I had two good experiences with the young sales people. But management at this store is completely incompetent. I was sold AT&t firstnet service as a first responder. I was sold a 5G plan with assurance that I had "unlimited 5G access." What I was not told, there is no 5G service on AT&t firstnet within 1,500 mi of my location. I spent three days back and forth on the phone with firstnet. I even made a special trip back into this store to inquire as to why I was not getting any 5G service, and most of the time getting only 3G service. Today my service quality averaged 50 KB upload, 4 MB download. When I went back into the store the salesperson sat with me and helped me like a champ. But the manager completely ignored me. He literally left me sitting there for more than 15 minutes, knowing my situation. There are AT&t firstnet signs all over this store. But nowhere does it inform you that there is no 5G service within 1,500 mi of this location. After 3 days of work trying to get my new phone to receive internet, I must switch to Verizon tomorrow. read more

Had a terrible experience with incorrect devices sent, as a new customer. Called customer service and was told to go to local store--they weren't able to help and didn't seem to care at all. They just tell you to call customer service again. Just being able to return these phones took many hours but I am glad to not have activated my account so I'm not stuck with the worst company/ customer service I've ever experienced. Five stars for Gordon and the other associate who helped us during our visit yesterday. I'm a longtime customer of ATT for more than a decade. I had an issue with my ATT Fiber internet that was spanning into its third day (one star for them), with technicians no showing two service appointments and getting nowhere after 9 hours on the phone spanning those days. Frustrated, my partner and I visited this location. Gordon took the time to listen to the situation, offered to get on the phone with customer service. When customer service stonewalled us, he got in touch with a service rep who was able to come out to our house that very afternoon and resolve the issue. I came to the store as I had done in the past and it for the first time there was a long line. For years the store has had very long lines. No at first I walked into the store and was helped by a gentleman who was friendly and helpful I advised him I would come back in 35 minutes after I did some shopping. Upon returning I spoke to a young lady who seem to be a supervisor and she told me that I would be helping another individual in the office. That individual was very short, he seem to be rushed and on interested in providing me with details about the purchase of an iPhone I was making and although I went ahead and did the transaction because I needed to to serve my timing and my needs, I was very disappointed with the service he provided the lack of interest he had in providing me with friendly customer service and honestly the disinterest he had in helping me and just rushing the sale that he was making to me. As I stated before I made the purchase out of necessity but almost left and decided to come back another day or ask for another tenant. read more

They tried to upsell me. Do your research before you go in, ask questions, and also consult with other stores to get a second opinion. Sad that you should have to do this. Details: I came in looking to add Mobile Hotspot. They asked me twice if everyone needed mobile hotspot, and I said "just me." The plans had changed, and it turns out I could save $50 a month by moving to the new plan. Cool! However, they tried to sell me a plan that gave *every* line mobile hotspot. For the same price as my current plan. Once I insisted to only add it to my phone, then they quietly mentioned I could save $50. The entire experience took about 12 minutes. It was dreadfully slow as they quietly tapped away at their iPad while I scrolled on Twitter. I consulted with another store in Walnut Creek, and within 2 minutes (without prompt) he told me I could save all of this money with a plan that actually makes sense for my situation. An honest salesman, finally! Overall, the service was slow and they didn't listen or look out for me as a customer. They just wanted to get the most money off me. I came here to get a number change, instead I got a line added to my service, which I was unaware of. The gentleman who helped me said I didn't have to cancel my old number or remove it from my account, there will be no charges, and everything will be fine, it's a number that nobody will use. Now, almost a year down the road, I noticed my bills are HIGH (basic plan being charged $330!!!) which is crazy!!! I called support for a supervisor, they refused to rectify the situation fairly, and insisted on playing hardball, even said they won't close the line because a phone(which doesn't exist) has an installment on that line!! I lost $1,000 or more by paying unnecessary sums of money, on autopay, and the best solution they can offer is $25 credit.... One word of advice, AVOID at&t, they aren't transparent. Not recommended for AT&T service-related activities. Purchased my iPhone here, along with a screen protector, which cracked when I dropped the phone. The company, Bodyguardz, was very good about supplying a replacement, which I took to this AT&T store this morning for swap out. When I & my wife walked in, there were more employees than customers in the store, and when I questioned those two "unengaged" staff members about assisting me with this project, one declined because he needed to be at the door greeting people that were not coming in. The other employee was the floor manager who said she had to sit and watch another employee sell a plan to a prospective AT&T customer. What is wrong with this picture? A customer needing assistance, and 2 AT&T employees declining to provide said assistance. Is it any wonder that this AT&T outlet has only 2 1/2 stars, when the floor manager's priority is for an employee to watch the door for people not coming in, rather than helping those that have come in? read more

It isn't necessarily because of him that I traded the tactile keyboard for the smooth glass that as yet can make head nor tail of my phat thumbs. But he made it easier. Carlos and the Hanger made it easier. He was hella full of knowledge and mad skillz; he steered me true. That man is good at what he does, that's all I can say. Now I have an I-pho and no more tactile keyboard and I don't think that I'm not crying because I'm all full of cold medicine or delirium, no. I'm not crying because it's going to be OK. I always hesitate to write a negative review, but as I looked through all the reviews recently, I feel it's important to echo others' sentiments. Yesterday I had a 3:30 appointment. I wanted to find out my options at AT&T for replacing my water damaged phone. I suspected there was nothing to do but buy into an upgrade (that I'm not yet eligible for) but I needed to find out. Got in right away - in fact 15 minutes early. As we sat down, the young woman with glasses and very short hair (don't know her name) said she'd look at the account. I had never given her my cell phone number, and the appointment was made with a borrowed work phone #. I immediately told her not to use the phone number I used to make the appointment and she said "okay - let's just see what's going on." Surprise surprise, a screen popped up for her telling her this was an enterprise number and I had to hit "okay" to bypass a screen to allow us to talk about it. Then she tells me it's registered to a particular owner, etc. So again I say - you know that's not my phone #, right? "Oh - what phone number should I use?" Sigh. Here's where it gets particularly disturbing. Apparently she was very concerned that her nails be extremely tidy. So much so, that she cleaned each and every one of them as she was waiting for various screens to load in researching this situation. You know, take one nail on one hand and scrape the dirt out from each nail on the other hand....one by one, methodically. All the while asking questions but never looking up from the meticulous attention to nail dirt removal. If there was ever a time when I felt it was appropriate to hurl on an AT&T customer service person - this was it. After finally looking up the correct phone number, as suspected, my only option was to upgrade. Meeting over. When I went to Apple across the street and replaced the same phone for a "damaged phone replacement" reasonable flat rate, I found out I needed to get a new SIM card from AT&T because even that was corroded (people - don't take your phone kayaking and fall into the ocean - there - I saved you $325). Did I bounce across the street to AT&T to get it? Oh hell no. I drove to the Lakeshore AT&T. Goodbye to this location forever. read more

These guys are a total Joke, I company account, And they would not help me with finding the invoices for the 2 phones that were returned to by my employees. DO NOT TRUST AN EMPLOYEE NAMED LEAR. Worst experience I've ever had at a carrier store. I spoke with, what seemed to be at the time, a nice enough fellow named Lear. Boy was I wrong, it's the complete opposite. I talked to him about holding a Black Note 4 for me. He told me he would hold it for me and gave me his phone number so that I could text him 30 minutes prior to arriving. My girlfriend and I get to the store, have to wait around for 30 minutes, at least. Only to find out from another employee that the Note 4 is out of stock. I'm like what the heck Lear?!?! And he's very nonchalant about it-- happily delivering the information that it was just sold. He didn't have the least bit of remorse, and seemed to enjoy that I was upset. Everytime I've been to this AT&T store (a total of 3 times), I've had to wait anywhere from 30-45 minutes and have had terrible customer service. This guy takes the cake though. read more

Astounding that AT&T is still in business. Signing up for a cellphone plan is worse than doing taxes, with tons of ID verification and other steps that are just easier with other plans. I was never able to successfully activate my Apple Watch--not through the watch, phone, or AT&T's buggy website (I tried on various computers even). Similarly, I was never able to enroll in their corporate discount program because of website bugs and bad info from their customer service. And when you go to quit the service? Yep, they charge your entire final bill. Stay classy Ma Bell. Never again. read more

Well it turns out I grabbed my expired drivers license and not my current one so the guy working there couldn't even check me in! He told me to call AT&T...which was the issue in the first place. Calling people. Okay AT&T, if someone drives over to your store (pays for parking) and apparently didn't bring a current ID...there must be another system of verification, I mean, when did y'all become the dmv? Also, I know the service industry is hard, but people there were like bored teenagers. Dude seemed annoyed. AT&T is my phone provider, and I had to go there in order to get "extra security" added to my account in order to activate my new phone (AT&T corporate really needs to address that issue on their website, it's impossible to set up extra security online). I was helped by José, who was very nice and helpful. He was able to add the extra security feature to my AT&T account himself, after confirming my identity with my photo ID. I always prefer extra security features so I'm glad they ask for ID etc. the whole process only took a few minutes and I was very happy with how easy it was, and how helpful José was. read more

Not happy with my visit here today. The sales people (Mark and Tammy) were somewhat helpful. Not really because I left without giving them my business. I had the intention of upgrading our iPhone 6's to their BOGO iPhone 8 deal. Unfortunately that deal ended days ago; however, in order to qualify for their current BOGO iPhone 8 deal, I had to subscribe to Direct TV. This is not fair and not because our apartment complex is currently under renovation for the past year and they will not allow any mounting or installing of any cable dish, but because our family does not want any cable service and should not have to be forced to getting one. Just because we missed the last BOGO deal by a few days, we should not have to feel penalized. Both Mark and Tammy didn't offer any solutions. They just sat there even when I said I was going to cancel my service and go to a new carrier. Is AT&T so big that they are willing to sacrifice any long time and loyal customers who cannot take advantage of their BOGO offer? I am really hurt. Arrived at this location, with my wife, to pickup a pre-purchased phone. Staff were rude and snappy after being asked if they would be able to get to us by 11, as we'd been waiting for 15 minutes while employees sat idly next to another customer getting into it with what sound liked foreign customer support. This was at 10:20, so no major rush, but the employee playing on his iPad snapped at us that they can't give us any estimate in an angry tone from across the room when we asked the manager.
